Safety
• Do not place theproduct where it could fall into water or other liquids. Donot
place any objects which contain liquid onto theproduct such as vases, drinks, etc.
• Never subject theproduct to high temperature, dust, heavy vibration, impacts,
humidity or moisture.
• Do not place theproduct on soft surfaces such as beds, sofas or blankets; as
theventilation openings might become obstructed.
• The product should not be placed in aconfined space such as acupboard or on
ashelf which restricts air circulation.
• The product must only be connected to astandard domestic 100–230V, 50–60 Hz
electrical supply.
• The standby switch on theremote control does not disconnect theproduct from
thepower supply.
• Disconnect thedevice from thepower supply by unplugging it from thewall
socket. Makesure that thewall socket and plug are easily accessible.
• Do not abuse themains lead. Donot carry theproduct by its mains lead.
Whenunplugging theproduct, grasp and pull theplug – not themains lead.
Makesure that themains lead does not come into contact with heat, sharp edges
or is crushed.
• This product is intended for indoor useonly.
• Never attempt to tamper with or modify theproduct in anyway.
• Do not use theproduct if it is in any way damaged or does not function correctly.
• Never use accessories which are not recommended by themanufacturer.
• The product should only be repaired by qualified service technicians using
originalparts.

Operation
Listening to music from aniPad, iPod or iPhone
1. Plug themains adaptor into thespeaker dock and awall socket. Theindicator will
shine red to indicate that thespeaker dock is in standby mode.
2. Switch thespeaker dock on by pressing either [►ll] on thespeaker dock or [ ]
ontheremote control. Theindicator will then turn purple.
Note: Turnthevolume of your Apple device down before inserting it into
thespeaker dock.
Note: Becareful when docking aniPad2 or iPad3 as they need to be tilted alittle
during docking.
3. Carefully insert your device into thespeaker dock. Theindicator will turn asteady
blue if thespeaker dock is in iPad/iPod/iPhone mode. Ifit does not, press [MODE]
until theindicator turns blue. Thespeaker dock will automatically start playing any
music saved on theApple device.
4. Control thespeaker dock using thecontrols explained in theButtons and functions
section above.

Viewing pictures or films from your iPad/iPod/iPhone on aTV or
other monitor
1. Connect anRCA composite video cable between theRCA video out on
thespeaker dock and theRCA video socket on your TV/VDU.
2. Press [MODE] on theremote control until theindicator shines asteady blue.
3. Turn on your TV and switch to thevideo channel. Readyour TV instruction manual
if you are unsure.
4. Insert your iPad/iPod/iPhone into thespeaker dock.
5. Select thefilm/video you wish to view on yourTV.
6. Press [V-OUT] on theremote control to choose to whether to view thefilm/video
on either your TV or on your iPad/iPod/iPhone.
7. Control thespeaker dock functions using thecontrols explained in
theButtons and functions section above.
Playing music from aUSB memory
1. Press [MODE] until theindicator shines purple which means that it is in USBmode.
2. Connect aUSB memory to theUSB port. Thespeaker dock will automatically start
playing any music saved on theUSB memory.
3. Control thespeaker dock using thecontrols explained in theButtons and functions
section above.
Using theAUX-IN
1. Press [MODE] until theindicator flashes blue which means that it is in AUX-INmode.
2. Connect a3.5 mm audio cable between theexternal audio device and thespeaker
dock’s AUX-IN.
3. Control thespeaker dock functions using thecontrols explained in theButtons and
functions section above.
Care and maintenance
• Clean theproduct using alightly moistened cloth. Onlyuse mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• If thespeaker dock is not to be used for along time, it should be unplugged and
stored in adry and dust-free location.

Troubleshooting guide
The speaker will not
switch on.
• Check that themains adaptor is connected properly
to both thespeaker dock and wall socket.
• Is thewall socket live?
Your iPad/iPod/iPhone
has no contact with
thespeaker dock.
• Make sure that your iPad/iPod/iPhone is properly
inserted into thespeaker dock.
• Make sure that there are no foreign objects on
theconnectors of either thespeaker dock or
theiPad/iPod/iPhone.
• Test thefunction of your iPad/iPod/iPhone when it is
not connected to thespeaker dock.
Your iPad/iPod/iPhone
does not charge in
thespeaker dock.
• Make sure that your iPad/iPod/iPhone is properly
inserted into thespeaker dock.
• Make sure that there are no foreign objects on
theconnectors of either thespeaker dock or
theiPad/iPod/iPhone.
• Make sure that your iPad/iPod/iPhone battery is
working and can be recharged.
Poor sound quality. • The music file could be damaged. Tryplaying thefile
on another player.
• Check thevolume level.
There is no sound
from external audio
devices connected to
theAUX-IN socket.
• Is theexternal equipment switched on?
• Is theconnection cable undamaged and connected
correctly?
The remote control
doesn’twork.
• The batteries might be flat.
Insert2 new AAA/LR03 batteries.
• The remote control is out ofrange.
• The remote control is pointed at too great anangle
for theIR sensor.
• There is anobstruction (e.g furniture) preventing
signal reception.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Stickproppen måste vara lättåtkomlig.
• Misshandla inte nätsladden. Bäraldrig högtalaren inätsladden. Ryckinte isladden
utan dra istickproppen när du bryter strömmen. Setill att nätsladden inte kommer

Användning
Lyssna på musik från iPad/iPod/iPhone
1. Anslut nätadaptern till dess anslutning på högtalaren och till ettvägguttag.
Indikatorn lyser med fast rött sken vilket indikerar standbyläge.
2. Slå på högtalaren genom att trycka [►ll] på högtalaren eller [ ] på fjärrkontrollen.
Indikatorn lyser med fast lilasken.
Obs!Draner volymen på din enhet innan den ansluts till högtalaren.
Obs!Varextra försiktig vid anslutning av iPad2 och iPad3. Enheternas utformning
gör att de måste vinklas rätt vid anslutning.
3. Anslut försiktigt din enhet till högtalarens dockningskontakt. Indikatorn byter
automatiskt till fast blått sken (iPad-/iPod-/iPhoneläge) eller tryck [MODE] tills
indikatorn lyser med fast blått sken. Högtalaren spelar automatiskt upp den musik
som finns på dinenhet.
