Safety
• Do not place theBluetooth speaker where it could fall into water
or other liquids. Donot place any objects which contain liquid
onto theBluetooth speaker such as vases, drinks, etc.
• Never subject theBluetooth speaker to high temperature, dust,
heavy vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.
• Never attempt to tamper with or modify theBluetooth speaker
in anyway.
Buttons and functions
Switching theBluetooth speaker on/off
Switching on and pairing with anexternal device
1. Hold down [ ] for 3 seconds. [ ] and [] flash alternately.
TheBluetooth speaker is now switched on and in search mode.
2. Activate Bluetooth on thedevice to be paired and place it into
search mode.
3. The Bluetooth speaker will appear as “Jmusic” on your device.
Selectthis as thedevice to be paired. Referto your device’s
instruction manual if you are unsure.
Note: Ifyou are prompted to enter aPIN code, you should enter
0000 (four noughts). Certain devices may even require you to
approve theconnection.
If thelatest device that theBluetooth speaker was paired with is
switched on and in range when theBluetooth speaker is switched
on, it will connect automatically.
Switching off
Hold down [ ] for 3 seconds.
Bluetooth button
This button is used to switch between input audio devices when
theBluetooth speaker is switched on.
Example:
The Bluetooth speaker is switched on and paired with atablet.
Youwish to switch input audio device and use your moblie phone
as input audio device instead, do as follows:
1. Hold down [ ] for 3 seconds. [ ] and [] flash alternately.
2. Activate Bluetooth on thedevice to be paired and place it into
search mode.
3. The Bluetooth speaker will appear as “Jmusic” on your device.
Selectthis as thedevice to be paired. Referto your device’s
instruction manual if you are unsure.

Handsfree function
Note: Thefunctions described below only work when your mobile
phone is connected via Bluetooth.
• When theBluetooth speaker is connected to your mobile phone
via Bluetooth, theBluetooth speaker can be used to make and
answer phonecalls.
• If your mobile phone supports voice dialling, you can use
theBluetooth speaker’s built-in microphone to make such
calls. Referto your mobile phone’s instruction manual if you
areunsure.
Speakerphone function
1. Make acall using your phone’s keypad asusual.
2. When thecall is answered, theaudio of thecall will be heard on
theBluetooth speaker.
Redialling thelast number called
Press [ ] 2 times to call theprevious number dialled.
Voice dialling
Press [ ] twice, wait for avoice prompt and say thename of
theperson you want to call (speak into theBluetooth speaker’s
microphone).
Note: Somemobile phone may not support this feature.
Answering, ending and rejecting incoming calls
When theBluetooth speaker is switched on and connected to
amobile phone via Bluetooth and there is anincoming call, you will
hear anaudible signal (type of signal is subject to themobile phone).
• Press [ ] once to answer acall.
• Press [ ] once to end acall.
• Press and hold [ ] 2 seconds to reject a call.
Transferring calls from theBluetooth speaker
to amobile phone
• You can transfer calls from theBluetooth speaker to amobile
phone by holding down [VOL+, ►►l] and [VOL-, l◄◄ ]
simultaneously.
• If you want to transfer thecall back to theBluetooth speaker,
hold down thesame two keysagain.
Note: Somemobile phones may require confirmation or additional
actions. Referto your mobile phone’s instruction manual if you
areunsure.
Playback from anexternal device via theline-injack
1. Connect theincluded 3.5 mm cable to your external device and
to thejack (2) on theBluetooth speaker.
2. Switch theBluetooth speaker on.
3. Start and control other playback settings from theexternal device.
4. Any playback via Bluetooth will be interupted when the3.5 mm
cable is connected.
Note: Itis not possible to control playback from theBluetooth
speaker when anexternal device is connected to theline-injack.
Care and maintenance
• Clean theBluetooth speaker using alightly moistened cloth.
Onlyuse mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive
chemicals.
• If theBluetooth speaker is not to be used for along time,
thebattery should be charged once ayear to prolong its
servicelife.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regula-
tions. Ifyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.

Troubleshooting guide
The Bluetooth
speaker will not
switch on.
• Make sure that thebattery is fully
charged.
Poor sound
or no sound
during Bluetooth
playback.
• Check thevolume.
• Make sure that there is no cable
connected to the3.5 mm line-in jack
when using Bluetooth.
• Make sure that theBluetooth
connection is functioning properly.
• Test theplayback from your external
device before connecting it.
• Try playback using another file or format
e.g. MP3. Thefile you are attempting to
play may be incompatible or damaged.
• Make sure that no other Bluetooth
device is already connected.
Poor sound or
no sound during
playback via
theline-injack.
• Make sure that the3.5 mm audio cable
is undamaged and securely connected
to thedevice and thespeaker.
• Check thevolume on theconnected
device and thespeaker.
• Test theplayback from your external
device before connecting it.

Operating instructions
Recharging thebattery
Note: Chargethebattery until it is fully charged before using
theBluetooth speaker for thefirsttime.
1. Make sure that theBluetooth speaker is switched off.
2. Connect theincluded USB cable to thecharging port (1) on
theBluetooth speaker and to acomputer or other USB charger.
3. [ ] shines steadily when charging is in progress. Thesymbol
goes off when thebattery is fully charged. Note:[ ] flashes and
theBluetooth speaker emits anaudible signal when thebattery
islow.
