grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The
wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided
plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of
the obsolete outlet.
10. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
11. Unplug the array during lightning storms or when unused for long periods
of time.
12. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required
when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply
cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen
into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture,
does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
13. Protect the PoE injector’s power cord from being walked on or pinched;
particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they
exit from the apparatus.
14. Never push objects of any kind into this product through cabinet slots as
they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could
result in fire or electric shock.
15. This product can interfere with electrical equipment such as tape
recorders, TV sets, radios, computers and microwave ovens if placed in
close proximity.
16. Class 2 wiring IS REQUIRED. Only qualified personnel should wire and
install.

CAUTION
The BMA CTH
The BMA CTH is a second-generation Beamforming Microphone Array
solution for ceiling-tile installations, featuring 24 microphones, beamforming,
and adaptive-steering technology (think of it as smart switching) designed
specifically for the CONVERGE® Huddle CTH.
The array connects with the Huddle CTH through a Peripheral Link (P-Link) port.
Power to the arrays is supplied through a Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) or P-Link
connection from CP2.
The array comes in both a 24 inch and 600 mm size. An optional adapter that
converts the 600 mm version to 625 mm is available.
Important: BMA CTH arrays can be used only with CONVERGE Huddle
CTH DSP mixers. They are not compatible with CP2 mixers, CONVERGE
Pro, or first-generation Beamforming Mic Array systems.

Quick-Start Overview
These steps must be done in the following order to use the Versa Pro CT:
1. Install the BMA CTH and Huddle CTH
2. Connect the BMA CTH to the Huddle CTH.
3. Connect the PoE to the Huddle CTH and also to the BMA CTH (if using
speakers with either the Huddle CTH or BMA CTH).
4. Connect the PoE injector(s) to a standard power outlet.
5. Test the Versa Pro CT.
Install the Components
BMA CTH
1. On the BMA CTH back panel (see Figure 3 on page 10), do the following:

With speaker wire (not included), connect loudspeakers to the
Phoenix Euroblock connectors (e).
Move the Power Select sliding switch (g) to the left, towards the PoE
In connector (f).
2. Complete the steps indicated in the BMA Surface Mount Kit Installation
Guide.

Huddle CTH
You can mount the Huddle CTH in the following ways:
• On the bottom side of a table top
• On a wall
• Behind a display
Note: Mounting hardware such as screws and anchors are not included with
the Huddle CTH.
Required Tools
• No. 1 Phillips screwdriver
• T15 Torx screwdriver
• Level (to level the Huddle CTH)
• Drill bits appropriate for anchors
• Electric drill
• Drywall saw (for cutting hole in
wall or ceiling)
Mount the Huddle CTH on the Bottom Side of a Table Top
Select your hardware based on your specific installation needs.
1. Determine the location for the Huddle CTH.
2. Use a pencil to mark on the table the location of four mounting holes that
align with the mounting holes on the mounting ears.
3. Determine the proper depth and diameter for the holes.
4. Drill four pilot holes for #6 or M3.5 screws.
5. Align the mounting holes on the Huddle CTH mounting ears with the pilot
holes.
6. Use four #6 or M3.5 screws to attach the Huddle CTH to the table.

Mount the Huddle CTH on a Wall
Select your hardware based on your specific installation needs.
1. Determine location for the Huddle CTH.
2. Use a pencil to mark on the table the location of four mounting holes that
align with the mounting holes on the unit’s mounting ears. If needed, use
a level.
3. With the proper size drill bits, drill four pilot holes for fasteners/anchors.
4. Install the fasteners/anchors in the wall.
5. Align the mounting holes on the Huddle CTH mounting ears with the pilot
holes.
6. Use four #6 or M3.5 screws to attach the Huddle CTH to the wall.
Mount the Huddle CTH Behind a Display
The back of the Huddle CTH includes a 75 mm x 75 mm VESA hole pattern. This
allows the use of a VESA display mount to attach the Huddle behind a display.
VESA display mount kits with a matching standard hole pattern are available
from third parties.
Mounting details are dependent on the specific display and the mounting kit.

BMA CTH
Component Connections
Use the included CAT6 cables to make connections as follows:
1. Huddle CTH Expander port (a) to BMA CTH P-Link In (h)
2. Huddle CTH Ethernet/PoE port (b) to PoE injector port (c)

When you are ready to apply power, plug the PoE injector into a standard power
outlet.
Speaker Usage
When connecting 2x10 W speakers, each device requires its own PoE injector.
That is, if the amplifiers on either the Huddle CTH or the BMA CTH are used to
drive loudspeakers, both devices require their own dedicated PoE power injec-
tor.
When driving 2x10W speakers, set the “Power Select” switch to “PoE In”.
Test the Versa Pro CT
Immediately after power is applied to the Versa Pro CT, the system uses Auto
Connect™ to recognize the system components, and Audio Intelligence™ to set
channel properties.
Note: The Versa Pro CT comes pre-programmed with default settings. Except
for custom installations, no programming is necessary.
Volume and Mute
Generally, when your computer is connected to the Versa Pro CT, the
conferencing software on your computer allows control of volume and mute.
