Please note that our Clearview Power Slide® is not designed for safe operation
in an outdoor environment or to withstand the elements. Constant exposure to
the elements such as rain and moisture can cause damage to the electrical
components.

Assembly Instructions
clearviewaccessories.com.au
The Clearview Power Slide® should only be mounted to a solid, fixed, flat
timber/metal surface. Do not attempt to fit the Power Slide to an existing inbuilt
fridge slide, warranty on the Power Slide™ will be made void if attempted.
This guide is for fitting a Clearview Power Slide® to a vehicle drawer system. Some
assembly of the slide is required prior to installation, as it has been partially dismantled
for packaging and freight. Please remove any cargo barrier dividers or shelving over the
drawer system and ensure there are no tie down lugs under the proposed positioning of
the slide. Please also ensure the top of the mounting surface is flat and free from debris.
We recommend having an additional person to help with the handling of the box and
setting up of the Power Slide™.
Inspect the box for damage.
Use the side cutter to safely cut and remove straps securing the box and remove lid.
Locate the fixing kit within the packaging and set aside.
Gently remove the Power Slide™ safely from the box and place onto a sturdy bench/table.
Remove the cardboard infills and foam inserts.

Assembly Instructions
Use the Stanley knife to safely cut and remove the plastic bag (start from the top and work
your way around), ensuring that you do not damage any parts of the Power Slide™.
Slightly hang the front end of the Power Slide™ over the edge of the bench/table, ensuring
that it will remain in its spot.
NB: It is recommended to use a G-Clamp to help keep the Power Slide™ secure on the
bench/table.
Using a T25 Torx key, remove the two protector covers by undoing the 4x T25 screws that
secure the protector covers located underneath.
8clearviewaccessories.com.au
Re-arrange the Power Slide™ on the bench/table
so that it isn't hanging over the edge anymore.
Remove the remaining foam and cardboard inserts
within the Power Slide™.
NB: Please ensure to avoid damaging the
actuators between the foam and cardboard
packaging when handling.

Getting power to the Power Slide™
Locate the wiring adaptor on the back of the
Power Slide™, undo the twist tie that keeps
the wire neat, and release the wiring.
Use the UP direction on switch to run the actuators up along the actuator ramps.
NB: The switch is located on the front of the Power Slide™
Slowly guide and drive the actuators into position, the actuators will run and turn over.
As you get close, slowly guide actuator until you get to the right position.
Please be mindful to keep your hands and body safely away from the actuators/any
moving parts to avoid getting caught etc.
Running the actuators into position
Before extending the actuators, ensure to remove actuator cable away from the
scissor arm area (both sides) to avoid jamming/damaging the actuator wires.
The power supply needs to be a minimum 15 Amp with a 6mm cable.
Refer to Page 11 for 'Positioning and Mounting your Power Slide™.
IMPORTANT - If you are running the Anderson Plug power supply from the vehicle
to the Power Slide™, you need to secure the Power Slide™ to your vehicle before
the next step, as you will need power to extend the actuators and place the clevis
pins and clips in.

Assembly Instructions
10 clearviewaccessories.com.au
Align the actuators, then locate your clevis pin through the inner side and then push the clevis
pin through the inner hole provided.
Repeat this for the following side (Refer images 1 & 2)
Then secure the clevis pins with the clevis clips, attaching the clip from the outer side (Refer
image 3)
Once the Clevis clips are secure, you will need to cycle the Power Slide™ until the actuators
reach their home position.
Aligning and Securing the Actuators
Use a 5mm Allen key to undo the actuator ramps from the outside.
Gently remove the actuator ramps on both sides.
NB: Actuator ramps can be kept in box or discarded as they are only required for safe
transporting and flat packing of the Power Slide™.
Removing the Actuator ramp
You can now mount and secure the Power Slide™ into your vehicle if you haven’t already
assembled this inside the vehicle prior.

Positioning the Slide
11
clearviewaccessories.com.au
Positioning and mounting the Power Slide™
Temporarily place your fridge into the Power Slide™ in the stowed position.
Test the position of the Power Slide™ to ensure it remains clear of vehicle side trims and
rear door in all possible configurations, including closing the vehicle rear door with the
Power Slide™ in its secured stowed position.
Take care when testing whether the vehicle rear door can be closed without contacting
the Power Slide™ or fridge.
If the Power Slide™ needs to be repositioned, simply remove temporary fixing screws and
move the Power Slide™ into desired location.
Ensure the Power Slide™ does not extend further than the drawer front panels.
Once the position has been finalised, drill through drawer timber top using 8.5mm drill bit
through rear fixing holes on the Power Slide™ base plate.
Feed the supplied M8 mounting plate through the drilled holes from the underside of the
drawer top and tighten using M8 Nyloc nut and washer.
With the rear of the Power Slide™ secured, fully extend the tray assembly and repeat the
mounting process at front fixing holes on the Power Slide™ base plate.
Vacuum all swarf and the Power Slide™ is now ready for use.
IMPORTANT - When fitting a fridge to the Power Slide™, always use quality tie-
down straps and never travel with the fridge unrestrained.

Installing your fridge
12 clearviewaccessories.com.au
Installing and securing a fridge to the Power Slide™.
Lower the Power Slide™ and place your fridge into the Power Slide tray, ensuring best
access to controls, power socket and lid.
The Power Slide™ has provisions for four tie-down straps, one in each corner of the fridge
tray.
An additional strap bracket is included on the tray, should you choose to use this as a tie
down point instead.
To secure fridge, hold the strap by the buckle above the Power Slide™ and feed the loose
end of the strap down through the tie down point and through the Power Slide™ strap
provision from inside to out.
Then thread the loose end of the strap through the cam buckle from behind, keep pulling
the strap through and in a downward direction while holding cam buckle to tighten strap.
Repeat this process on remaining tie down straps.
For rear tie down straps, ensure the buckles are facing inwards (towards the fridge) to
avoid creating a 'catch point' that may inhibit vertical movement of the Power Slide™.
IMPORTANT - When fitting a fridge to the Power Slide, always use quality tie-
down straps and never travel with the fridge unrestrained.
