Tool Programming Overview
 The  buon is the universal “OK” or select
buon
 Holding the le arrow will take you back one
screen
 Holding the up arrow will take you to the
run screen
 Reverse can be acvated from the run screen by
pressing the le buon (you will see this
symbol)

1. From the run screen, press the right
button to go to the main menu
2. Highlight the “FastApps” button and
press the check () button .
NOTE: The cursor shows the current se-
lection with a blue box around the icon
3. Turn on FastApps by selecting the
(power) icon and pressing the check
button to activate FastApps.

4. Select application 1 and press the 
button
5. Highlight the direction of rotation sym-
bol and select Clockwise (CW) or Counter
-Clockwise (CCW). Press and hold the
left button to go back to the previous
screen.
6. Highlight the torque button to select
between torque and angle. Torque is
identified as a wrench and tao symbol,
angle is identified by an angle and theta
symbol.

7. Using the directional keys, set the tar-
get torque value in Nm (default). Cleco
recommends setting the torque value to
5Nm on the pistol and 10 Nm on the right
angle unless the test joint is fixtured in a
vice. Please reference the catalog for the
minimum torques.
8. Select the batch count.
NOTE: The test joint has a 13mm and
10mm bolt, so batch count of one (1) is
the default value.
9. Select the free speed you would like to
run on the tool.
NOTE: Do not set the free speed below
50 RPM.

10. You’re finished! The tool will automatically program the limit and
shiftdown values with the default values seen below. You can custom-
ize these values with the advanced programming screen. To learn
more about advanced programming and all of the other settings in the
tool, please view the manual P2398PM-EN. A programming tree can
also be seen on the next page.
