Indication
The ostomy pouch is intended to collect output from a stoma. The barrier is
intended to adhere to intact peristomal skin and is used for positioning of the
ostomy pouch.
Information
Store product horizontally at cool and dry conditions. Product must not be
stored under freezing conditions. Allow product to return to room temperature
before application.

Warning
Reusing this single-use product may create a potential harm to the user.
Reprocessing, washing, disinfection, and/or sterilization may compromise
product characteristics, causing additional risk of physical harm to or infection
of the user.
Cut a hole in the barrier to t the exact size and shape of
the stoma using a pair of small curved scissors and the
cutting guide on the barrier.
You can use the enclosed stoma measuring guide to meas-
ure the size and shape of the stoma.
An exact t between the hole and the stoma is important to
reduce the risk of leakage and skin problems.
Place the pouch on a at surface with the coupling side
down.
Close the outlet by folding the bottom of the outlet upwards
three times so that the Velcro® strip becomes visible.
Fold the two turquoise tabs inwards to secure the Velcro®.
Preparation
The outlet can be hidden away by using either the Velcro®
dot immediately above the outlet, or by using the Velcro®
strip on the middle of the pouch.
(This does not apply to the transparent pouches where
there is no Velcro® dot on the middle of the pouch).
Thoroughly clean the stoma and the surrounding skin area.
The skin must be completely dry before application of the
barrier.
Application
Peel off the protective film from the barrier.
How to use
Align the barrier around the stoma and apply pressure on
the barrier to ensure fast adhesion and a perfect fit between
the adhesive and the skin around the stoma.
The barrier must fit snugly around the stoma. To prevent
leakage it is important to ensure a tight seal around the
stoma. When applying pressure to the barrier/pouch on the
abdomen, begin in the area around the stoma and press
the adhesive to the skin. Run a finger all the way around the
stoma to ensure that the barrier seals. Smooth the barrier
down, starting from the stoma and moving outwards to the
edges, to ensure that the barrier has made full contact with
the skin.
Ensure the barrier is dry and clean (When cleaning the
barrier only use water).
Remove the protective paper from the adhesive ring of the
pouch.
Avoid pulling or stretching the foam adhesive on the pouch.
Align the bottom of the pouch coupling with the turquoise
line located on the outer rim of the barrier.

How to empty the pouch
Open the outlet and empty the pouch into the toilet when
needed.
Clean the outlet, for example with toilet paper. Fold and
resecure the outlet after you have emptied the pouch.
Removal
Apply light pressure to the flange with one hand and
remove pouch with the other, pulling the turquoise tab. Do
this slowly so that the pouch peels away easily.
Gently remove the barrier by pulling the removal tab on the
barrier away from the stomach and roll the barrier slowly
downwards.
Apply light pressure on your skin with your free hand to
help removal.
Filter label
If required, to prevent gas from escaping, place one of the
enclosed filter stickers on the filter.
Disposal
The product is intended for single use only and should be disposed of with
normal household waste. Do not flush the product down the toilet.
Starting at the bottom, use your fingers to put light pressure
on the pouch and barrier and smooth the coupling upwards
all the way around the coupling ring.
It is possible to reposition the pouch once just after
application. Ensure the flange is clean when re-applying.
Belt
Adjust the belt length, by pulling the straps, so it fits your
body. There is no need to remove the fabric covering the
buckle.
Attach each of the four belt hooks to one of the four belt
tabs on either side of the barrier. Start from the front and
apply a light pressure towards the stomach. Then pull the
belt hooks away from the coupling, until they “click” in
place.
(Only applies for products with belt tabs.)

Aplicación
Despegue la lámina protectora de la placa adhesiva.
Alinee la placa adhesiva alrededor del estoma y aplique presión sobre la placa

retirada.
Eliminación
El producto está diseñado para un solo uso y debe desecharse junto con los
residuos domésticos. No deseche el producto por el inodoro.
Pegatina de filtro
Si fuera necesario, para prevenir escapes de gas, coloque una de las pegatinas
incluidas en el filtro.
Cinturón
Ajuste el tamaño del cinturón, tirando de las correas, para que se ajuste a su
cuerpo. No es necesario retirar el tejido que cubre la hebilla.
Fije cada uno de los cuatro ganchos de la correa a una de las cuatro orejas
del cinturón en ambos lados de la placa adhesiva. Comience por el frente y
presione suavemente hacia el estómago. En seguida retire los ganchos del
acoplamiento, hasta que "hagan clic" en su lugar.
(Solo se aplica a productos con lengüetas para cinturón).
