WHAT IS COVERED
The manufacturer warrants this lighting fixture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (5) years from
date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. If
this product is found to be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the
product at the manufacturer’s discretion, provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modifications,
alterations, neglect, or mishandling.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, set-up, or used in any way not in accordance
with the instructions supplied with the product. This warranty shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of an accident, misuse,
abuse, negligence, alteration, faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material or workmanship. This warranty shall not
apply to the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear.

1 Turning off the power
□Make sure the power is turned off at the source to the
recessed can housing where the fixture will be installed.
Remove the existing bulb and trim, revealing the socket.
NOTICE: Stick the replacement label on the inner
wall of the recessed housing before installation.
2 Connecting the cables
□Plug the cable connector on the socket adapter (B)
into the connector on the LED light module (A).

WARNING: Shut off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel before removing the old fixture.

4 Inserting the friction clips into the
recessed can
□Insert one side of the downlight
into the recessed can
and firmly push against the
friction clip, while inserting
the other side into
the can housing.
5 Pushing the LED light module into
the recessed can
□Once both clips are inside, carefully push the LED light
module (A) up into the recessed can housing until the trim is
flush with the ceiling surface.

1 Download the Hubspace app
□Download the Hubspace app from the device’s App
Store or the Google Play™ store to your mobile
device.
□Turn on the Bluetooth® & Wi-Fi®functions of the
smart device to ensure the Wi-Fi®signal at home is
stable and reliable.
□Then open the Hubspace app.
NOTICE: To register, enter your email address
and a password. Or, login if you already have an
account.
NOTICE: Be sure to be within 33 ft (10m) of
your Hubspace device when setting them up.
Controlling the Light with the Hubspace app
2 Select and connect the LED downlight
□In the Hubspace app screen, tap the plus sign
“+” in the upper right corner.
□Scan your product’s QR code. If the QR code
cannot be scanned for some reason, you can
enter the code manually. Tap Enter Code and
follow the instructions.
□Name the LED downlight identified by the
scanned, and assign it to a room.
□Connect your device to power and follow the
instructions on screen.
NOTICE: If you are unable to access
the QR code for your light, you can put it
into discovery mode with the following
sequence:
□Switch the device off and on 5 times.
The light will pulse to show that it can
now be discovered.
□In the Hubspace app, tap the plus sign
in the upper right corner and follow
the instructions to discover devices.

3 Set up your voice assistant
□In the Hubspace app, tap the Hubspace button.
□Select the Integrations tab, choose your voice assistant and follow the instructions.

Troubleshooting
WARNING: Before doing any work on the fixture, disconnect power to the light fixture.
Minor problems often can be fixed without the help of an electrician.
Problem Possible Cause Solution
The fixture will not light.
The power is off. Ensure the power supply is on.
The circuit breaker is off. Ensure the circuit breaker is in the on position.
There is a bad connection. Check to ensure proper wire connections are made. Contact a
qualified electrician.
There is a defective switch. Contact a qualified electrician.
The fuse blows or the circuit
breaker trips when the light is
turned on.
The wires are crossed or the power
wire is grounding out.
Check the wire connections.
Contact a qualified electrician or call Commercial Electric
customer service 1-877-527-0313.
The light fixture flickers or
makes a buzzing sound.
The dimmer circuit is not compatible
with the product.
Check the product page at HomeDepot.com for a list of
compatible dimmers.
The dimming circuit is set outside the
dimming range of the product.
Turn or slide the dimmer switch to adjust the light output until
the flickering or buzzing stops.
The downlight will not connect
to the Hubspace app.
The Bluetooth feature is turned off on
the smart device.
Ensure the Bluetooth function is turned on within the device
settings. A Bluetooth symbol should be visible somewhere on
the device screen.
Charge up the device being paired with the downlight. Smart
power management may have turned off the Bluetooth function
when low on power.
The smart device is out of range of the
Bluetooth downlight.
Be sure the downlight is within 33 ft. (10 m) of the smart
device.
The smart device is not discoverable. Turn on “Discoverable” mode on the device to allow the
downlight and smart device to recognize each other.
The smart device did not automatically
connect to the Bluetooth downlight.
Confirm the device’s “Discoverable” mode is turned on to allow
the downlight and smart device to recognize each other.
Go to the pairing list on the device and manually connect the
device to the downlight.
The downlight is not powered on.
Make sure the downlight is properly connected and the power
is turned on.
Ensure the circuit breaker is in the on position.
Interference is causing confusion with
the connection.
Power both the device and the downlight off and back on.
Delete the downlight from the smart device and rediscover it.
Move away from Wi-Fi routers or computers that could be
causing interference.
My Hubspace device is not connecting
to Wi-Fi.
Make sure your device is connected to a power source.
Your Internet connection or Wi-Fi network may be down.
My device cannot find any Wi-Fi
networks.
Make sure you have a 2.4GHz capable Wi-Fi network within
range of the device you are trying to add.
My device is in a location that does not
have Wi-Fi. Can I still use it with the
Hubspace app?
Yes:
Use the app on a phone with an Internet connection like LTE.
The phone must be within Bluetooth range of your Hubspace device.
I cannot find the QR code. Look for it where other stickers are on the product. A copy of
the QR code is also included in your device’s documentation.
The QR code has become damaged.
How do I add the device?
Under the QR code are numbers. You can enter those in
manually instead of scanning the code.
How do I reset the device? Remove the device from your account, then add it back.
Devices also reset when they transfer to a new account.

Care and Cleaning
CAUTION: Before attempting to clean the fixture, disconnect the power to the fixture.
□Clean the fixture with a soft, dry cloth.
□Do not use cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives.

A device is on another account. How do
I transfer it? Scan the QR code and it will transfer to your account.
My device is offline for long periods of
time.
Make sure your Wi-Fi signal strength is sufficient. You may
need to move your router, use mesh Wi-Fi, or Wi-Fi extenders.
The device is on and I scanned the QR
code, but the app cannot connect to it.
Turn off Bluetooth on your phone and turn it back on. Then,
scan the QR code.
Can I scan the same QR code to add
multiple products? No. Each product has a unique QR code.

1 Cortar el suministro eléctrico
□Asegúrese de cortar el suministro eléctrico a la carcasa
empotrada donde se instalará lámpara. Retire el reborde
y la bombilla existentes, para dejar el portalámpara.
NOTA: Aplique la etiqueta de reemplazo en la
pared interior de la carcasa empotrada antes de la
instalación.

4 Insertar los clips de fricción en la
caja empotrada
□Inserte un lado del downlight
en la caja empotrada y
presione firmemente contra
el clip de fricción, mientras
inserta el otro lado en la

□Descargue la aplicación Hubspace desde la App

□Active las funciones de Bluetooth®y Wi-Fi®del

señal de Wi-Fi®en la casa sea estable y confiable.
□Luego, abra la aplicación Hubspace.

2 Seleccionar y conectar el downlight LED

Solución de problemas

El dispositivo inteligente está fuera
del alcance del downlight Bluetooth. Asegúrese de que el downlight esté a 10 m (33 pies) del dispositivo inteligente.
El dispositivo inteligente no se puede
detectar. Active el modo “Detectable” en el dispositivo para permitir que el downlight y el dispositivo inteligente se reconozcan entre sí.
El dispositivo inteligente no se
conectó automáticamente al
downlight Bluetooth.
Confirme que el modo “Detectable” del dispositivo esté activado para
permitir que el downlight y el dispositivo inteligente se reconozcan
entre sí. Vaya a la lista de emparejamiento en el dispositivo y conecte
manualmente el dispositivo al downlight.
El downlight no está encendido. Asegúrese de que el downlight esté conectado correctamente y de que esté encendido.
Asegúrese de que el cortacircuitos esté en la posición de encendido.
La interferencia está causando
confusión con la conexión.
Apague y encienda el dispositivo y el downlight. Elimine el downlight
del dispositivo inteligente y vuelva a descubrirlo. Aléjese de
enrutadores Wi-Fi o computadoras que puedan causar interferencias.
Mi dispositivo Hubspace no se
conecta a Wi-Fi. Asegúrese de que su dispositivo esté conectado a una fuente de alimentación. Su conexión a Internet o red Wi-Fi puede estar inactiva.
Mi dispositivo no puede encontrar
ninguna red Wi-Fi. Asegúrese de tener una red Wi-Fi con capacidad de 2.4GHz dentro del alcance del dispositivo que está intentando agregar.
Mi dispositivo está en una ubicación
que no tiene Wi-Fi. ¿Puedo seguir
usándolo con la aplicación Hubspace?
Si:
Use la aplicación en un teléfono con conexión a Internet como LTE. El
teléfono debe estar dentro del alcance de Bluetooth de su dispositivo
Hubspace.
No encuentro el código QR. Búsquelo donde haya otras pegatinas en el producto. También se incluye una copia del código QR en la documentación de su
dispositivo.
El código QR se ha dañado. ¿Cómo
agrego el dispositivo? Debajo del código QR hay números. Puede ingresarlos manualmente en lugar de escanear el código.
¿Cómo reinicio el dispositivo? Elimina el dispositivo de su cuenta y luego vuelve a agregarlo. Los dispositivos también se restablecen cuando se transfieren a una
nueva cuenta.
