Place framelock betwee footplates o I door Rower. The two
footplates may eed to be pulled apart slightly for the axle tube
to fit. Be sure to li e up axle tube to orie t framelock as show .

I sert 1/2" screw a d washer i to each e d of framelock axle
tube, through holes i footplates. Tighte with alle wre ch.

IMPORTANT Safety Notes:
• Always have the framelock i the locked positio whe
the flywheel a d mo orail sectio s are co ected. Failure
to do so may result i i jury if the u it is lifted or moved.
• To avoid possible i jury, use cautio while
attachi g the mo orail sectio to the flywheel
sectio a d while operati g the framelock.

Step 1. Usi g o e of the footstraps as a ha dle, lift the
footboard e d of the flywheel sectio u til it rolls
o the caster wheels. Lift the e d of the mo orail
to the same level.
Step 2. Bri g the flywheel a d mo orail sectio s together
betwee the footplates. The top ha ger should be
over the top bolt tube a d the bottom ha ger
should hook over the bottom bolt tube.
Step 3. Lower both pieces u til they
co ect securely a d push
dow i to place.
Step 4. Rotate the framelock

Place the ha dle i the ha dle hooks to make it easier
to reach whe you are seated o the rower. NOTE: It is
best to let the ha dle rest agai st the fa cage (as
show at left) rather tha i the ha dle hooks whe the
machi e is ot i co sta t use (i.e. over ight, betwee
workouts). This will prolo g the life of the shock cord.
SETTING THE FLEXFOOT
To set the Flexfoot, pull the toe piece toward you to
release the footpiece from the two pegs. Slide the toe
piece up or dow to achieve the proper setti g, the
press the toe piece back dow o to the pegs.
Begi by setti g the Flexfoot heel so the strap crosses
the ball of your foot. As you gai familiarity with the
I door Rower, you may choose to raise or lower the
Flexfoot a otch for reaso s of flexibility or ge eral
comfort.
Optimal setti g permits the k ee, lower leg a d a kle
to be perpe dicular to the floor at the catch.
Loweri g the Flexfoot heel permits more seat travel.
Raisi g the Flexfoot heel cuts dow o leg flexio .

that comes with the I door Rower.
ALWAYS PUT THE FRAMELOCK IN THE LOCKED POSITION (page 7) BEFORE MOVING THE INDOOR ROWER.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES:
• Use of this machi e with a wor or weake ed part, such
as the chai , sprocket, swivel co ector, ha dle U-bolt,
or shock cord, may result i i jury to the user. Whe i
doubt about the co ditio of a y part, Co cept2 stro gly
advises that it be replaced immediately with ge ui e
Co cept2 parts.

BEFORE OUR FIRST ROW
1) Co sult your physicia . Be sure that it is ot da gerous for you to u dertake a stre uous exercise
program.
2) Carefully review the rowi g tech ique i formatio i the User’s Ma ual. Improper tech ique such as
extreme layback or jumpi g off the seat ca result i i jury.
3) Start each workout with several mi utes of easy rowi g for a warm-up.
4) Start your exercise program gradually.
Row o more tha 5 mi utes the first day to let your body adjust to the ew exercise.
5) Gradually i crease your rowi g time a d i te sity over the first two weeks.
Do ot row at full power u til you are comfortable with the tech ique a d have rowed for at least a
week. Like a y physical activity, if you i crease the volume a d i te sity too rapidly, fail to warm up
properly, or use poor tech ique, you will i crease the risk of i jury.
6) Rowi g with the damper setti g too high ca be detrime tal to your trai i g program by reduci g your
output a d i creasi g risk of i jury. It is better to err o the light side rather tha o the heavy side.
