Before Use
•Read all instructions & warnings carefully.
•Check the specifications of your electric vehicle to ensure compatibility.
•Fully uncoil lead prior to charging.
•Check for damage, if damaged in any way DO NOT USE.

Intended Use
This product is intended for TEMPORARY charging of portable electric vehicles. It is
not intended to be used as a permanent charging solution.

Warnings
•Your Mode 2 CordTech charging lead plugs directly into a 10Amp power socket:
•We recommend consulting a registered electrician to assess that your socket
outlet/power circuit can support this. Older wiring or heavily “loaded” power
circuits can present issues as this is a high-power device.
•Do not modify this product in any way.
•Do not wire directly into a mains supply.
•Do not submerge the control box or charging connector in water.
•Do not step on, pull, fold or knot the cable.
•Keep away from high temperature objects during charging.
•Ensure the charging cable is not a tripping hazard during use.
•The 10Amp Plug (which connects to the wall outlet) is not waterproof and must
always be used indoors or suitably waterproofed.
•If this product is damaged in any way cease use immediately, either discard or
consult a registered electrician.
•Caution must be taken when using this product to prevent risk of electric shock.

Vehicle Compatibility
•COMPATIBLE WITH TYPE 2 CONNECTIONS found on
multiple EV makes and models including Tesla, Audi, BMW,
Toyota, Hyundai, Jaguar, Porsche, Nissan, Volkswagen,
Volvo, Citroen, Land Rover, Mercedez, Mini Cooper,
Renault, Kia and more*

Start Charging
1) Uncoil the charging lead, insert the 3 pin plug into a wall outlet. Ensure it is
securely connected and not loose.
2) Gently remove the socket cap off the Type 2 (Mennekes) plug, connect to your
vehicle inlet. Ensure the plug is securely connected and not loose.
3) The device will start charging automatically while the READY/CHARGE, POWER
indicators are all green.
NOTE: The default current setting is 8A, press the "CURRENT SETTING" to adjust to
your required current. The current will increase by 1A each time you press, the
maximum output is 10Amps.
1) Disconnect the Type 2 Plug from the vehicle inlet.
2) Close the protective cap of vehicle inlet.
3) Place the protective cap onto the Type 2 (Mennekes) plug.
4) Disconnect the plug from the wall outlet.
5) Store your Charging cable.
