PURPOSE
USE INSTRUCTIONS
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Cleaning:
Keep the viewing screen clean, excess of dust or other residues will reduce the capacity of visualization and diagnostic of the x-rays. For the
cleaning procedure, unplug the equipment and wipe it with a soft cloth dampened with biodegradable neutral detergent, next, clean them with
another cloth dampened with alcohol 70% or peracetic acid at 1%, right after that, use a dry soft cloth that does not shed to dry it properly;

The Luna X-Ray Viewer may be used on the table, where it offers three leaning angle adjustments or hanging on the wall through the back orifices
in a vertical or horizontal position (Fig. 2);
- Flat Surface Use: Use the built-in holder in the back of the plastic housing, there are three angle adjustments, choose the best viewing
position;
- Wall Mounting: After defining the desired wall spot, mark the holes with a pen and drill them on the wall. To hang it horizontally leave a
distance of 16,5 cm between holes or 14,5 cm to hang it vertically. Hang the viewer on the screws fixed to the wall. Note: Use 4 mm plugs and
2,5 x 25 mm screws;
Fit both plastic clips on the upper side of the screen. The side with only one central holder facing forward (Fig. 1);
Connect the power cable to the connector located in the back of the equipment and the other end (adapter) to the wall socket (Figs. 5 and 6);
Turn the Luna on through the On/Off switch located at the left side of the viewer (Fig. 4);
Use the plastic clips at the top of the viewing area to hold the x-ray in place for visualization (Fig. 1);
When the diagnose is done, turn the Luna off through the On/Off switch again. At the end of the work day, disconnect the adapter from the wall
socket.
This product is used in diagnostic imaging for viewing most types of x-rays as panoramic, cephalograms,
periapical, interproximal, occlusal, carpal, sinuses and TMD among others. Follow the instructions presented in
this manual regarding the proper use, precautions, care and storage.

This equipment is imported by Cristófoli Biossegurança, company which Quality
Management System is certified and in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008, ISO
13485:2003, BPF - Boas Práticas de Fabricação - ANVISA, (Brazilian standard similar to
GMP-FDA/US) and ISO 14001:2004 - Environmental Management standards.
WARRANTY CERTIFICATE
A CRISTÓFOLI EQUIPAMENTOS DE BIOSSEGURANÇA LTDA., warranties the Luna X-ray Viewers against any manufacturing defect from the date of the purchase
receipt (provided it contains the serial and lot numbers of the equipment), of which 03 (three) months refer to the legal warranty (established by section II, art. 26,
CDC, Brasil) and nine (09) months to the contractual warranty (arranged in art. 50, CDC, Brasil). Visit our website www.cristofoli.com and register your product online.
Traveling costs (based on the distance traveled in km) and the stay of the authorized technician for installation, repair or maintenance before or after the
warranty period will be responsibility of the buyer/owner as well as the freight charges for shipping the equipment to the authorized technical assistance office for
repairs or if necessary, to the factory itself.
CRISTÓFOLI EQUIPAMENTOS DE BIOSSEGURANÇA LTDA., is not liable for damages / accidents caused by improper use, operation or installation of its products, in
this case the equipment will lose its warranty and the repair will be paid by the buyer / owner.
The warranty will be voided in cases of:
• Problems arising from natural causes (such as floods, lightning, etc.).
• Damage caused by accidents, such as: drops, failure of the power supply and/or building wiring, short circuits, fire, etc..
• Sinister (theft or robbery);.
• Improper installation of the equipment and/or plugging it into an incorrect voltage outlet.
• Problems due to failure of the power supply and/or building wiring.
• Removal and/or tempering of the serial number shown in the identification label of the product.
• Signs of tampering and/or blotted out data on the purchase or service receipt of the equipment.
• Signs of external violation of the product or broken factory seal.
• Lack of periodic maintenance of the equipment or neglect regarding any item presented on the topic “Preventive Maintenance” of this instruction manual
• Use of non-original parts or parts not acquired at the Cristófoli Authorized Service Network.
• Repairs performed by technicians who are not part of the Cristófoli Authorized Service Network.
• Noncompliance with any measure or caution recommended in the instruction manual of the product.
