CRUZBIKE T50 ASSEMBLY NOTES:
CRUZBIKE T50 FIT NOTES:
Though it looks a little different from a traditional bicycle, assembly is very similar.
The T50 frame can be assembled without a stand. When installing components, a
standard bike stand can be used - just rotate the clamp to hold the front boom.
The steerer tube should be cut to between 8 3/4inches and 9 inches measured from the
top of the crown. Be sure to file the outside edges to remove any sharp burrs. The star
nut inside the steer tube can be left inside the piece of steer tube that is cut off, it is
not needed.
The wheels used are a standard 26” set with 135mm spacing and 100 mm spacing - just
reversed - placing the drive wheel up front.
The customer will need to select a stem and handlebar depending on drivetrain choice.
The BB shell is standard 68mm English thread, and all other components are standard.
When installing a rear rack, use two 15mm spacers to achieve the proper width for the
lower rack stays. The lower rear mount holes can be tapped to 6mm or you can use M5
bolts and nylock nuts/washers.
General tips for a good rider fit:
1-At full pedal extension rider’s leg should be slightly bent.
2-On the pedal upstroke there should be some clearance between the top of the rider’s
knee and the handlebar.
3-The rider’s arms should have a natural bend at the elbows.
4-Once fit, the riser tube can be shortened as appropriate similar to a seat tube to
maximize the rider’s forward visibility.
