FOR THE PROTECTION OF YOUR CAR
WARNING! Approval of the seat expires immediately
in case of any modication!
WARNING! Do not use the ATON in front seats
equipped with activated front-airbag. This does not
apply to so-called side-airbags.
WARNING! Never hold a baby on your lap while
driving. Due to the enormous forces released in an
accident, it will be impossible to hold onto the baby.
Never use the same seat belt to secure yourself and
the child.
THE BEST POSITION IN THE CAR
NOTE! High volume front-airbags expand explosively.
This can result in the death or injury of the child.
NOTE! If the baby seat is not stable or sits too steeply in
the car, you can use a blanket or a towel to compensate.
Alternatively, you should choose another place in the car.
On some car seat covers which are made of a sensitive
material (e.g. velour, leather etc.) the use of child seats
may lead to traces of wear and tear. In order to avoid this,
you should put a blanket or a towel underneath the child
seat.

PARA LA PROTECCIÓN DE SU VEHÍCULO!
ADVERTENCIA! La Aprobación de la silla expira
inmediatamente en caso de cualquier modicación!
ADVERTENCIA! No utilice la ATON en asientos
delanteros equipados con airbag frontal activado.
Esto no aplica para los airbags laterales.
ADVERTENCIA! Nunca lleve a un niño en su
regazo mientras maneja. Debido a las enormes
fuerzas liberadas en un accidente, será imposible
sostener al bebé. Nunca utilice el mismo cinturón de
seguridad para sujetarse a sí mismo y al niño.
LA MEJOR POSICIÓN EN EL AUTOMÓVIL
NOTA! Los airbags frontales de alto volumen se
expanden explosivamente. Esto puede resultar en la
muerte o en graves heridas para el infante.
NOTA! Si la silla del bebé no está estable o se asienta
muy inclinada en el automóvil, se puede utilizar una
manta o una toalla para compensar. Alternativamente
usted puede elegir otro lugar en el automóvil.
En algunos automóviles, los asientos están fabricados de
materiales sensibles (por ejemplo, terciopelo, cuero, etc)
. El uso de sillas de seguridad de niños puede provocar
huellas de desgaste. Para evitar esto, puede poner una
manta o una toalla debajo de la silla de seguridad.

CARRYING HANDLE ADJUSTMENT
WARNING! Always secure the baby with the
integrated harness system.
The carrying handle can be adjusted into three different
positions:
A: Carrying/Driving-Position.
B: For placing the baby in the seat.
C: Safe sitting position outside the car.
WARNING! In order to avoid unwanted tilting of the
seat whilst carrying, make sure that the handle is
locked in the carrying position A.
•In order to adjust the handle press buttons b on left and
right side on the handle a.
•Adjust the carrying handle a to the desired position by
pressing the buttons b.
NOTE! When using ATON in combination with ATON
Base or ATON Base-x the driving-position of the handle
changes from A to B.

AJUSTE DEL ASA DE TRANSPORTE
ADVERTENCIA! Siempre asegure al bebé con el
sistema de arnés integrado.
El asa transportadora puede ser ajustada en 3 diferentes
posiciones:
A: Posición para transportar la silla y para conducir.
B: Para sentar al bebé en la silla.
C: Posición de seguridad fuera del automóvil.
ADVERTENCIA! Para evitar un desequilibrio
no deseado de la silla mientras de transporta,
asegúrese de que el asa esté bloqueada en la
posición de transporte (A).
•Para ajustar el asa, presione los botones (b) del lado
izquierdo y derecho del asa (a).
•Ajuste el asa de transporte (a) a la posición deseada,
presionando los botones (b).
NOTA! Al utillizar la ATON en combinación con las Base
ATON o la base-x ATON, la posición para conducir del
asa cambia de A a B.

ADJUSTING THE SHOULDER BELTS
NOTE! Only if the shoulder belts c are adjusted correctly
optimum security can be provided.
•When the baby is approximately 3 months the seat
insert can be removed to provide enough space for the
child (see page 25).
•The height of the shoulder belts c must be adjusted in
such a way that they run through the belt slots s directly
above the baby‘s shoulders.
•Press the red button to open the buckle e.
•Pull the shoulder pads d over the belt tongues t to
remove them.
•First pull one buckle tongue t through the cover and out
of the belt slot s. Now insert it again through the next
higher slot. Repeat this step to the adjust the other side
as well.
NOTE! Please make sure that the shoulder belts c are
not twisted but should lie at against the main seat, run
evenly through the belt slots s and down to the buckle e.
To adjust the height of the shoulder belts c please follow
the next steps:

AJUSTE DE LOS CINTURONES DE HOMBROS
NOTA! Sólo si los cinturones c están ajustados
correctamente puede proporcionarse una seguridad
óptima.
•Cuando el bebé tenga aproximadamente 3 meses, el
reductor puede retirarse para proporcionar suciente
espacio al niño (vea la página 26).
•La altura de los cinturones c debe ajustarse de forma
que pasen a través de las ranuras s directamente sobre
los hombros del bebé.
•Presione el botón rojo para abrir la hebilla e.
•Tire de los pads para los hombros d a través de las
lengüetas t para extraerlas.
•Primero tire una de las lengüetas t a través de la funda
y hacia afuera de la ranura para el cinturón s. Ahora
inserte nuevemamente a través de la siguiente ranura.
Repita este proceso para ajustar también el otro lado.
NOTA! Asegúrese de que los cinturones c no estén
torcidos, sino que queden planos sobre la silla y pasen,
sin trabas, a través de las ranuras s hacia la hebilla.
Para ajustar la altura de los cinturones c siga los
siguientes pasos:

NOTE! Never leave your child in the car unattended.
NOTE! Always secure the baby in the child seat and
never leave your child unattended when putting the ATON
on elevated surfaces (e.g. diaper changing
table, table, bench ...).
•Take your baby out of the car seat as often as
possible in order to relax its spine.
•Interrupt longer journeys. Remember this as well, when
using the ATON outside the car.
WARNING! Plastic parts of ATON heat up in the
sun. Your baby may get burnt. Protect your baby and
the car seat from intense exposure to the sun (e.g.
putting a white blanket over the seat).

SEGURIDAD PARA SU BEBÉ
NOTA! Nunca deje al bebé sin atención en un vehículo.
NOTA! Siempre asegure a su bebé en la silla de
seguridad y nunca lo deje sin atención mientras esté en
la ATON en lugares elevados (por ejemplo: mudador,
mesa, silla o banco, etc).
•Saque a su bebé de la silla de seguridad lo más
frecuentemente posible, de manera de relajar su espina
dorsal.
•Interrumpa viajes muy largos. Recuerde esto también al
usar la ATON fuera del automóvil.
ADVERTENCIA! Las partes plásticas del la ATON
se calientan al sol. Su bebé podría quemarse.
Proteja a su bebé y a la silla de seguridad de una
exposición intensa al sol (por ejemplo, poniendo una
manta blanca sobre la silla).

NOTE! Please remove all toys and other hard objects
from the car seat.
NOTE! Make sure that the shoulder belts c are not
twisted.
NOTE! Leave a maximum space of one nger between
the baby and the shoulder belts.
•Open the buckle e.
•To loosen pull up the shoulder belts c while pushing the
central adjuster button g and pulling the shoulder belts
c up. Please always pull the belt tongues t and not the
belt pads d.
•Place your baby into the seat.
•Put the shoulder belts c straight over the baby‘s
shoulders.
•Join the buckle tongue sections t together and insert
them into the buckle e with an audible CLICK. Pull the
central adjuster belt h until the shoulder belts t the
baby‘s body snugly.
•Push the red button to open the buckle e.

NOTA! Por favor, retire todos los juguetes y otros objetos
sólidos de la silla de automóvil.
NOTA! Asegúrese de que los cinturones c no estén
torcidos.
NOTA! Deje como máximo un dedo de espacio entre el
bebé y los cinturones.
•Abra la hebilla e.
• Para aojar, tire de los cinturones c mientras presiona
el botón de ajuste central g. Tire siempre de las
lengüetas del cinturón t y no de las cintas d.
•Coloque a su bebé en la silla.
•Coloque los cinturones c, sin torceduras, sobre los
hombros del bebé.
•Una las dos lengüetas t e insértelas en la hebilla hasta
que oiga un CLICK. Tire del cinturón de ajuste central
h hasta que los cinturones se ajusten bien al cuerpo
del bebé.
•Apriete el botón rojo para abrir la hebilla e.

WARNING! Never use the ATON on a car seat
equipped with a front-airbag. This does not apply to
so-called side airbags.
WARNING! The child seat must always be secured
with the seat belt even if not in use. In case of an
emergency brake or accident, an unsecured child
seat may injure other passengers or yourself.
In order to guarantee the best possible safety for all
passengers make sure that ...
•foldable backrests in the car are locked in their upright
position
•when installing the ATON on the front passenger seat,
adjust the car seat in rearmost position
•you properly secure all objects likely to cause injury in
the case of an accident
•all passengers in the car are buckled up

ADVERTENCIA! Nunca utilice ATON en un asiento
de automóvil equipado con airbag frontal. Esto no se
aplica a los llamados airbags laterales.
ADVERTENCIA! La silla de seguridad debe estar
siempre asegurada con el cinturón de seguridad,
incluso si no está en uso. En caso de un frenazo de
emergencia o un accidente, una silla de seguridad
no asegurada puede herir a usted u otros pasajeros.
De manera de garantizar la máxima seguridad posible
para todos los pasajeros asegúrese de ...
•los respaldos abatibles de los asientos estén
bloqueados en la posición más vertical
•cuando instale la ATON en el asiento delantero, ajuste
el asiento a la posición más atrás posible
•Asegure todos los objetos que podrían causar daños en
caso de un accidente.
•Todos los pasajeros tienen su cinturón de seguridad.
