1. INTRODUCTION
The EL-5400D Presentation Switch with integral scaler is designed to
be used with Dual-link DVI, Mini Display-Port, and PC/Component
sources allowing users to switch and scale these sources to it's HDMI
output. Digital Optical and Analogue Stereo Audio inputs and outputs
can be managed for bi-directional conversion, extraction, and insertion
from the individual ports for full audio embedding and de-embedding
functionality. Control is via the IR remote, or RS-232 protocol.

Press this button to ENTER the OSD menu. Press again to conrm the
selection. Press it together with - button to switch output to 720p or
with + button to switch output to XGA instantly.
2-/IN
a.“-“: When in OSD page, press this button repeatedly to move
down through the OSD selection.
b. “IN”: Press this button for quick input port selections.
3+/OUT
a.“+”: When in OSD page, press this button repeatedly to move up
through the OSD selection.
b. “OUT”: Press this button for quick output resolution selections.
4OPTICAL OUT
This slot is to connect to amplier with OPTICAL cable and from
amplier to speakers or directly to active speaker with OPTICAL cable.
5AUDIO L/R OUT
This slot is to connect to speaker or amplier with 3.5mm audio phone
jack cable.

6OPTICAL IN
This slot is to connect from the input OPTICAL audio source
equipment such as Blu-ray or DVD player.
7AUDIO L/R IN
This slot is to connect from the L/R input audio source equipment
such as PC/laptop.
8HDMI OUT
This slot is to connect to HDMI display with HDMI cable.
9IR sensor
10 DC 5V & POWER
Plug the 5V DC power supply into the unit and connect the adaptor
to AC wall outlet. Once the power supply is connected the power LED
will illuminate

This slot is to connect with Dual-Link DVI sources output for Dual-Link
DVI signal sending.
5PC/COMP IN
This slot is to connect with PC/NB or DVD/Set-Top Box source
equipment with D-Sub 15-pin cable for PC source signal input or with
D-Sub 15-pin to 3 RCA adaptor for component signal input.
