KP04AE Instructions
The vertical row of button on the right control the display of the sensor values on the LCD.
Button Function
Press to Increase the Setpoint of the sensor
Press to Decrease the Setpoin of the sensort
Press to Toggle the Setpoint Enable/Disable. If Disabled, the setpoint will not be
displayed and will not cause alar .
Default 1

Button Function
Press to selecty the next Sensor to be displayed. Up to 8 sensors can be didplayed
LED Indications
Off (Green)
Steady Security Off, all conditions Normal (no trouble)
Blinking Trouble e.g. Phone line cut, RS 85 comms failure.
Trouble Condition is displayed
Arm (Red)
Steady System armed, No alarm
Blinking Alarm / Alert condition.
AC (Red)
Steady Mains Power failure.
Blinking CM9001 Battery voltage low due to prolonged power
failure.Battery may need to be replaced.
Msg (Green)
- Not in Use
Mic (Red)
- Not in Use

Setpoint has been disabled and is not shown. Pressing the On/Off key will enable the setpoint
If a sensor value eg Temperature exceeds the setpoint, an alarm is triggered. The alarm is displayed
on the LCD eg Main Temperature Alarm, and a siren sound id heard on the keypad. To disarm the
alarm enter the user code default 1234 followed by # to silence the alarm.
