4. Wipe thefilter with asoft cloth soakedin water and dry it up in the shade.
1. Do notuse gasoline, thinner or other chemicalsto clean the unit. Asthese substances
may cause damageto the finish and deformation ofplastic parts.
2. Do notwash the unit directly under atap or using a hose.
3. If thepower cord is damaged, it shouldbe repaired by manufacturer or itsagency.
Before cleaning or servicing this unit, be sure to
disconnect the unit from any electrical supply outlet.
Cleaning the Air Filter
If the air filter becomes clogged with dust/dirt, the air filter should be cleaned once every
two weeks.
1. Press I/O to turn off the air conditioner and pull out the plug from the wall socket.
2. Open the air inlet grille and take off the air filter.
3. Dust/Dirt clogged in the filter can be removed by vacuum cleaner. If filter is very dirty, wash it in
lukewarm soapy water while rubbing it gently with a brush. A mild detergent is recommended.
5. Replace theair filter asit was.

4.Reinstall filter.
Before a long idle period
1. Remove the drain plug and drain water completely.
2. Set the fan going for a few hours to dry out the inside completely.
3. Switch the air conditioner off and unplug it from the wall socket. Clean the filter and outer surface.
5.Takeout batteries from remote controller andstore with air conditioner in aclean, dry area.
6. Remove air exhaust hose and store with air conditioner in a clean, dry area.

-Water full indicator lamp
blinks, water tank is full. Dump the water out of the water
tank.
-Room temperature is higher
than the setting temperature.
(Electric heating mode)
Reset the temperature.
-The windows or doors in the
room are not closed.
-There are heat sources
inside the room.
-Exhaust air hose is not
connected or blocked.
-Temperaturesetting is too
high.
-Air filter is blocked by dust.
Make sure all the windows and
doors are closed.
Remove the heat sources if
possible.
Connect the duct and make sure
It can function properly.
Decrease the setting temperature.
Clean the air filter.

absorbed odours from wall,
carpet, furniture and again
blows out
Remove the objects with odour
smell if possible.
-The ground is not level or
not flat enough.
Place the unit on a flat,level
ground if possible.

-The drain plug is not installed
properly. Install the drain plug properly.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
F7 : indicates open circuit or short circuit in room temperature sensor.
F8 : indicates open circuit or short circuit in pipe temperature sensor.
F1 : indicates the anti-ice protection.
WATER FULL indicator lamp illuminating: indicates the water full inside.
TROUBLE DISPLAY
-Room temperature is lower
than the setting temperature.
(Cooling mode)
Reset the temperature.
-The sound comes from the
flowing of the refrigerant inside
the air conditioner.

OPERATION OF MAIN BOARD
COOL MODE
If Tr> Ts, cool operationis activated. Compressor is turned onand the fan runs at the
setting speed.
If Tr Ts-1 cool operationis terminated. Compressor and fan areturned off.
The range ofTs is 16-31
Fan speed canbe adjusted for low, medium,high and auto. Compressor will be delayed
by 3 minutesbefore its operation/termination.

ANTI-ICING OPERATION
This process ischecked by the defrost sensor.
If Td (defrostsensor temperature) =2 ,the fan runsat a high speed.
If Td 8 for 5minutes continuously, compressor resumesto normal operation.

If Td -1 for 1minute continuously, compressor isturned off andthe fan keeps running
at a highspeed.

CONTROL SPECIFICATIONS

At Electrical Heat mode, the compressor does not operate; If Tr<Ts, electrical heat
operation is activated after 8 seconds running of fan. If Tr>Ts, electrical heat
operation is terminated and the fan keeps the condition of anti-coldness.
While shutting off in Electrical Heat mode, the fan will be delayed 18 seconds to stop.
While shutting off in COOL mode and DRY mode with the operation of compressor,
the fan will be delayed 18 seconds to stop.
ELECTRICAL HEAT MODE
AUTO CHANGEOVER MODE(Only for remote controller operation)
If Tr>25 , cool operation is activated and Ts=24C

DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY
Stop operation of the conditioner and remove the power cord before
repairing the unit.
6. Loosen the screw of the electric
control board and take out the
electric control board.
1. Switch off the air conditioner
and remove the power plug.
2. Remove the fixing screw of
the left and right cover panel.
3. Pull out the left and right cover
panel.
4. Remove the fixing screw of
the front panel and back cover
panel.
5. Pull out the front panel and
then take out the electric box
cover panel.
