National Standards Institute (ANSI) /National Fire Protection
Association (NFPA) 70 and local/state codes. In Canada,
electrical grounding is to be in accordance with the Canadian
ElectricCode(CSA)C22.1

2 SHIPPING INSPECTION
Upon receiving the product, inspect the unit for shipping dam-
age. Shipping damage and subsequent investigation is the re-
sponsibility of the carrier. Verify the model number, specifica-
tions,electricalcharacteristicsandaccessoriesarecorrectprior
to installation. The distributor or manufacturer will not accept
claims from dealers for transportation damage or installation
of incorrectly shipped units.
2.1 Parts
Also inspect the unit to verify all required components are
present and intact. Report any missing components im-
mediately to Daikin or to the distributor. Use only factory
authorized replacement parts (see Section 4). Make sure
to include the full product model number and serial num-
ber when reporting and/or obtaining service parts.

2.2 Handling
Use caution when handling the unit. Do not carry unit with
hooksorsharpobjects.Thepreferredmethodofcarryingthe
unit after arrival at the job site is by two-wheel hand truck
from the back or sides or by hand, carrying at the cabinet
corners.
3 CODES & REGULATIONS
Thisproduct is designedand manufactured to comply with appli-
cable national codes. Installation in accordance with such codes
and/or prevailing local codes/regulations is the responsibility of
the installer. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for
equipment installed in violation of any codes or regulations.
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has
issued various regulations regarding the introduction and dis-
posal of refrigerants. Failure to follow these regulations may
harm the environment and can lead to the imposition of sub-

5 PRE-INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS
5.1 Preparation
Keep this document with the unit. Carefully read all instruc-
tionsfortheinstallationpriortoinstallingproduct.Makesure
each step or procedure is understood and any special con-
siderations are taken into account before starting installa-
tion. Assemble all tools, hardware and supplies needed to
complete the installation. Some items may need to be pur-
chased locally. Make sure everything needed to install the
product is on hand before starting.
5.2 System Matches
The entire system (combination of indoor and outdoor sec-
tions)mustbemanufacturerapprovedandAir-Conditioning,
Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) listed. NOTE: In-
stallation of unmatched systems is not permitted. Damage
or repairs due to installation of unmatched systems is not
covered under the warranty.

6.1 Duct Flange Attachment
There is no conversion required to reverse from right to left
application. Attach the duct flanges to the discharge side of
the unit. If the coil and furnace combination are not similar
in depth and width, use a field-supplied transition to center
the furnace and coil openings (see Figure 5B). The supplied
Z-bracket attachment should be used to attach the coil to a
narrower furnace with the furnace is one size smaller than
the coil (example: coil height is 21.0” and furnace width is
17.5”. See Figure 5C). Figure 5D indicates incorrect coil fur-
nace attachment method.
1. Prior to installation, remove the shipping bracket spanning
the A-Coil apex to the rear of the wrapper on all models.
2. Thebottomductflangeforthesupplyplenumsideisshipped
unattached. Carefully insert the flange into bottom rail and
use a 5/16" screw to attach at the middle of the flange.
3. Secure the side flanges with field procured 5/16” screws on
the supply plenum side.

5.3 Clearances
Refrigerantlinesmustberouted,dependingonconfiguration
of unit, to maintain the required 24” minimum clearance for
service. Consult all appropriate regulatory codes prior to de-
termining final clearances. In installations that may lead to
physicaldamage(i.e.agarage)itisadvisedtoinstallaprotec-
tivebarriertopreventsuch damage. Alwaysinstallunitssuch
that a positive slope in condensate line (1/4” per foot) is al-
lowed.
NOTE: Furnace application requires that the installer MUST re-
view and strictly follow ALL furnace installation clearance guide-
lines. Failure to do so may result in property/equipment damage,
personal injury or death.
CONSULT ALL APPROPRIATE REGULATORY CODES WHEN DETER-
MINING FINAL CLEARANCES.
6 APPLICATION INFORMATION
Coilsaredesignedforindoorinstallationonlyandmustbeinstalled
upstream (discharge air) of the furnace and downstream (return
air)ofthemodularblower. Thiscoilisabi-directionalcoilandcan
beinstalledineithertheleftorrightdirection. Determinethecoil
direction by the side that allows the best access.

Check horizontal level of the unit with spirit level. Don’t tilt the
unit down that makes it difficult to drain even though the level is
withincriteriaofspiritlevel. Suchtiltedunitsmaycausewater
leaks.

7 RETURN DUCTWORK
Do not locate the return ductwork in an area that can introduce
toxic or objectionable fumes/ordors into the ductwork.
8 REFRIGERANT PIPING WORK
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not handle coil assembly with manifold
liquid tubes or flowrator tubes. Doing so may result in damage to
the tubing joints. Always use clean gloves for handling coil assem-
blies.
8.1 Tubing Size/Length
Givespecial considerationto minimizing the length of refrigerant
tubingwheninstallingcasedcoil.RefertooutdoorunitINSTALLA-
TION & SERVICE REFERENCE for line set configuration guidelines.
Ifpossible,allowadequatelengthoftubing,sothatthecoilmaybe
removed (for inspection or cleaning services) from the cabinet
without disconnecting the tubing.

8.2 Cut Off The Spin Closure
• This coil is shipped containing gas under 150 P.S.I.G. Re-
leasepressurefromthegaspipingpressure-releasedevice
before initiating piping work.

• Using a tube cutter, cut off the factory spun end of both
the liquid and gas line piping.
Followthepointsbelow:
• Use a tube cutter and flaring block suitable for the type or
refrigerant.
• To prevent dust, moisture or other foreign matter from
infiltratingthepiping,eitherpinchtheendorcoveritwithtape.
• Do not allow anything other than the designatedrefrigerantto
get mixed into therefrigerant circuit. Ifan refrigerantgasleaks
whileworkingontheunit,immediatelyventilatetheroom.
8.3 Disconnect Internal Control Wiring
• Disconnect the control panel wiring from component wir-
ing using the EEV, pressure sensor and thermistor connec-
torslocatedontheoutsideof thecontrolpanel.SeeFigure
7.
• Remove the control panel. The control panel is detached
from the front panel by removing the fourn mounting
screws located on the four corners of the control panel.
• Remove the top front panel.

8.4 Connect Piping
• Slide bottom front panel along field tubing while cautiously
guiding component wiring back through panel wire-way. (See
Figure 8.)
• Braze up to the field piping fitting port while cooling the sen-
sor, EEV, service valve and the thermal insulation. Braze joints
shouldbemadeonly withtheconnectorsprovidedexternalto
thecabinet.Do not alterthecabinet nor braze insidethe cabi-
net.Toavoidoverheatingafterbrazing,quenchallbrazedjoints
with water or a wet rag.
NOTE: To prevent damage caused by heat when brazing the field
piping,coverthepipeinsulation,theinternalwiring,andthether-
mal sensors inside the insulation with a damp cloth. Otherwise,
the sensors, EEV and service valve may be damaged by heat of
brazing, which leads to a failure of normal operation.

A quenching cloth is strongly recommended to prevent scorching
or marring of the equipment finish when brazing close to the
paintedsurfaces.Usebrazingalloyof2%minimumsilvercontent.
Refrigerantgasmayproducetoxicgasifitcomesintocontactwith
fire (as from a heater, stove or cooking device). Exposure to this
gascouldcausesevereinjuryordeath.
Applying too much heat to anytube canmelt the tube.Torch heat
required to braze tubes of various sizes must be proportional to
thesizeofthetube.
Service personnel must use theappropriate heat level for the size
of thetubebeingbrazed.
When brazing the refrigerant piping, perform nitrogen
replacement first or perform the brazing while feeding nitrogen
intotherefrigerantpiping. Seefollowingfigure.
When brazing pipes while feeding nitrogen inside the piping,
make sure to set the nitrogenpressure to 2.9 PSI or less using the
pressurereducingvalve.
Use of oxygen could result in an explosion resulting in serious
injuryordeath. Useonlydrynitrogengas.

NOTE:Donotusefluxwhenbrazingrefrigerantpiping.Therefore,
use the phosphor copper brazing filler metal (BCuP) which does
notrequireflux.Fluxhasanextremelynegativeeffectonrefriger-
ant piping systems. For instance, if chlorine based flux is used, it
will cause piping corrosion. Flux containing fluorine will damage
refrigerant oil.
8.5 Re-assemble the Coil and Controls
• Onceheatfromthebrazedareahas dissipated, route com-
ponent wiring back through the bottom front panel wire-
way.
• Reinstall the tubing grommets and close the top and bot-
tom front panels.
• Re-install the control panel to the top and bottom front
panel using mounting location holes and factory supplied
screws.
• Reconnect Control Panel wiring to component wiring.
• Aftertheworkisfinished, make suretocheckthatthereis
no gas leak.
• After checking for gas leaks, be sure to insulate the piping
connections as shown in Figure 10.
Completelyinsulategasrefrigerantpipinginordertopreventcon-
densationandpossiblewaterdamage.Failingtoinsulatethepipes
may cause leaking or burns. Be sure to use insulation which can
withstand temperatures of 250° F (120° C) or more. Reinforce
the insulation on the refrigerant piping acording to the installa-
tionenvironment.Ifenvironmentalconditionsreach86°and80%
RH, condensate may form on the surface of the insulation. To
prevent condensate leakage, reinforce the refrigerant piping in-
sulation according to the installation environment.

to piping connection inside the unit. Any exposed piping may

9 SEALING ALONG THE PANEL GAP
IMPORTANTNOTE:Topreventcabinet“sweating”,applyfield
provided insulation tape along all joining surfaces between
the coil, gas furnace, duct work, and panels. See Figure11.

10 DRAIN PIPING WORK
In all cooling applications where condensate overflow may cause
damage, a secondary drain pan must be provided by the installer
and placed under the entire unit with a separate drain line prop-
erly sloped and terminated in an area visible to the owner. This
secondary drain pan can provide extra protection to the area un-
der the unit should the primary drain plug up and overflow. As
expressed in our product warranty, we will not be liable for any
damages, structural or otherwise due to the failure to follow this
installation requirement.
Condensate drain connections are located in the drain pan at the
bottom of the coil/enclosure assembly see Figure 12. Use the fe-
male (¾" FPT) threaded fitting that protrudes outside of the en-
closure for external connections. The connectors required are (¾"
NPT) male, either PVC or metal pipe and must be hand tightened
to a torque of no more than 37 in-lbs, to prevent damage to the
drainpanconnection.Aninsertiondepthbetween.36to.49inches
(3-5 turns) should be expected at this torque.
1. Ensure drain pan hole is NOT obstructed.
2. To prevent potential sweating and dripping on to finished
space,itmaybenecessarytoinsulatethecondensatedrain
line located inside the building. Use Armaflex or similar
material.
A secondary condensate drain connection has been provided for
areas where the building codes require it. Use a downward slope
ofatleast ¼" perfoottoprovide free drainage, or as requiredby
local code. Provide required support to the drain line to prevent
bowing. If the secondary drain line is required, run the line sepa-
rately from the primary drain and end it where condensate dis-
charge can be easily seen.
Drain port labeled (A) in Figure 12 is the primary drain and con-
densate drain line must be attached to this drain port.
Drain port (B) is for the secondary drain line (if used).

NOTE:
• Water coming from secondary line means the coil primary
drain is plugged and needs immediate attention.
• Insulate drain lines located inside the building or above a
finished living space to prevent sweating.
• Theinstallationmustincludea“P”styletrapthatislocated
as close as a practical to the evaporator coil. See Figure 13
for details of a typical condensate line “P” trap.
• Trapped lines are required by many local codes. In the ab-
sence of any prevailing local codes, please refer to the re-
quirementslistedintheuniformmechanicalbuildingcode.
• Adraintrapinadraw-throughapplicationpreventsairfrom
being drawn back through the drain line during fan opera-
tion,thus preventing condensatefrom draining and if con-
nected to a sewer line, to prevent sewer gases from being
drawn into the airstream during blower operation.
• Inablow-throughapplication,thedraintrappreventscon-
ditioned air from escaping. It is permissible in this applica-
tiontouseashallowtrapdesign,sometimesreferredtoas
a running trap. The depth of a running trap (Figure 14)
should be either 1" or a depth that permits unrestricted
condensate drainage without excessive air discharge.
• Ifusingcopperdrainline,solderashortpieceofpipe,mini-
mum 6" length, to the connector before installing a drain
fitting. DO NOT over torque the ¾" copper connector to
the plastic drain connection. Using a wet rag or heatsink
materialontheshortpiecetoprotecttheplasticdrainpan.

Ifa secondarydrainisnot installed, thesecondaryaccessmustbe
plugged.
Condensate drain traps with an open vertical Tee between the
casedcoilandthecondensatedraintrapcanimprovecondensate
drainage in some applications, but may cause excessive air dis-
charge out of the open Tee. Daikin does not prohibit this type of
drain but we also do not recommend it due to the resulting air
leakage.Regardlessofthecondensatedraindesign used, it is the
installer’sresponsibilitytoensurethecondensatedrainsystemis
of sufficient design to ensure proper condensate removal from
the coil drain pan.
Useofacondensateremovalpumpispermittedwhennecessary.
Thiscondensatepumpshouldhaveprovisionsforshuttingoffthe
controlvoltageshouldablockeddrainoccur.SeeAuxiliaryAlarm
Switch section in the gas furnace or modular blower manual for
more details. A trap must be installed between the unit and the
condensate pump.
NOTE: This cased coil DOES NOT have auxiliary alarm switch
feature.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The coil is fabricated with oils that may dis-
solve styrofoam and certain types of plastics. Therefore, the re-
movalpumporfloatswitchmust not contain any ofthesemateri-
als.
11 ELECTRICAL WIRING WORK
IMPORTANT:Allroutingofelectricalwiringmustbemadethrough
provided electrical bushings. When routing electrical wiring
through bushings, take care not to damage the PCB. Do not cut,
punctureoralterthecabinetorcontrolpanelforelectricalwiring.

The electrical ground circuit may consist of an appropriately
sized electrical wire connect the ground lug in the unit control
boxtothebuildingelectricalservicepanel.
Other methods of ground are permitted if performed in
accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC)/American
National Standards Institute (ANSI) /National Fire Protection
Association (NFPA) 70 and local/state codes. In Canada,
electrical grounding is to be in accordance with the Canadian
ElectricCode(CSA)C22.1
11.1 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
• Shut off the power before doing any work.
• All field supplied parts and materials, electric works must
conform to local codes.
• See also the “Wiring Diagram Label” located on the under-
side of the control panel cover.
• All wiring must be performed by a licensed electrician.
• The power wiring must be protected with safety devices in
accordance with local and national codes i.e. a fuse, a cir-
cuit breaker or a GFCI. Further detail, see gas furnaces or
modular blower installation manual.
• To avoid short circuiting the power supply wire, be sure to
use insulated terminals.
• Donotturn on thepowersupply (circuit breaker ora GFCI)
until all other work is done.
Do not ground units to water piping, telephone wires or
lightning rods because incomplete grounding could cause a
severeshockhazardresulting in severeinjuryordeath. Do not
ground to gas piping. A gas leak could result causing an
explosionwhichcouldleadtosevereinjuryordeath.
11.2 WIRE SIZING
Use relay wire harness (including ground wire) as supplied with
this unit for connection between cased coil and gas furnace or
modular blower. If it must be replaced with wiring, use thicker
wire gauge than AWG18 wire size for your unit. Wiring material
must comply with local codes.

11.3 SAFETY DEVICE
Every installation must include an NEC (USA) or CEC (Canada) ap-
proved overcurrent protection device. Also, check with local or
state codes for any special regional requirements. Protection can
be in the form of fusing or HACR style circuit breakers. The Series
and Rating Plate provides the maximum overcurrent device per-
missible. When using residual current operated circuit breakers,
be sure to use a high-speed type (0.1 second or less) 30mA rated
residual operating current.
NOTE: Fuses or circuit breakers are to be sized larger than the
equipment MCA but not to exceed the MOP.
11.4 TRANSFORMER INSTALLATION
Measure the power supply to the gas furnace or modular blower.
Selection of correct supply voltage for transformer depends on
measured power supply to gas furnace or modular blower. The
supply voltage must be measured and be in agreement with the
equipment’s unit nameplate power requirements and within the
range shown. 24 VAC power voltage is supplied to EEV cased coil
control board from transformer supply terminals. See Figure 15
Forappropriatewiring identificationandinstallationforthe cased
coil,refertotheproveidwiringschematiclocatedonthePCBCon-
trol Panel cover.

The cased coil PCB must be supplied 24 VAC supply voltage from
an appropriately powered transformer. A transformer has been
included in the transformer kit with the cased coil.
This unit is designed to operate on 24 VAC from provided
transformer. NEVER connect high voltage (120/208/240 VAC)
to the cased coil directly or to the cased coil control board.
Doing so would result in equipment damage and/or personal
injuryordeath.
Use designated UL certified transformer included with coil
accessory kit. Do not alter or modify the transformer.
Attempting to modify or alter the transformer may result in
productdamageorpersonalinjury.
11.5 HOW TO INSTALL THE TRANSFORMER
Furnace application requires the use of the multi-tap (120/204/
240) VAC to 24 VAC transformer. Appropriate supply voltage for
multi-taptransformerisbasedonfieldwiring.Selectfromthecoil
accessory kit the following components:
1. Multi-tap (120/208/240) VAC to 24 VAC transformer.
2. Appropriate PCB transformer bracket (see Table 1).
3. Supplied red/black voltage transformer power wires.
NOTE: Based on furnace selection, use the following table to de-
termine appropriate PCB transformer bracket.

plate. Fasten the PCB transformer using (2) field supplied self-
drilling screws. Locate the transformer to the partition plate to

be no longer than 0.75" to prevent interference with the blower
housing.
NOTE: Extreme caution must be taken when installing the trans-

wiring. Effects of electrical interference (external noise) may

Use only specified wire and connect to terminals tightly. Be
carefulthatwiresdonotplaceexternalstresson terminals.Keep
wire in neat order; not to obstruct other equipment. Make sure
that the control panel cover is closed tightly. Incomplete
connections could result in overheating, and in worse cases,
electricshockorfire.
Whendoingthewiring,makesurethewiringisneatanddoesnot
not touch sharp edge of sheet metal and does not cause the
control panel to stick up, and then close the cover firmly. When
attaching the control cover, make sure you do not pinch any
wires.
12 COMFORTNET™ SYSTEM
12.1 Overview
TheComfortNet™ system isa system that includes a ComfortNet
compatible cased coil and outdoor unit with a communicating
thermostat.
SystemmayONLYbeinstalledusingComfortNetthermostatwith
modelnumberCTK04AEorneweraspartofthedigitalcommuni-
cating system or another Daikin approved communicating ther-
mostat.
AComfortNetheating/airconditioningsystemdiffersfromanon-
communicating/traditional system in the manner in which the
indoor unit, outdoor unit and thermostat interact with one an-
other.Inatraditionalsystem,thethermostatsendscommandsto
theindoorandoutdoorunitsviaanalog24VACsignals.Itisaone-
waycommunicationpath.Theindoorandoutdoor units typically
do not return information to the thermostat.
Onthe other hand,the indoor unit, and thermostat comprising a
ComfortNetsystem“communicate”digitallywith one another. It
is now a two-way communications path. The thermostat still
sends commands to the indoor and outdoor units and may also
request and receive information from both the indoor and out-
doorunits.ThisinformationmaybedisplayedontheComfortNet
thermostat. The indoor and outdoor units also interact with one
another. The outdoor unit may send commands to or request
informationfromtheindoorunit.Thistwo-way digital communi-
cations between the thermostat and subsystems (indoor/out-
doorunit)isthekey to unlockingthebenefitsandfeaturesofthe
ComfortNet system.
12.2 Thermostat Wiring
NOTE:Refertosection11.ELECTRICALWIRINGWORKfor24volt
line connections to the cased coil.
NOTE:YoushoulduseaDAIKINapprovedthermostat(CTK04AEor
newer). Not approved for use with a CTK01, CTK02, CTK03,
CTK04AD or older.
NOTE:Aremovableplugconnectorisprovidedwiththecontrolto
make thermostat wire connections. This plug may be removed,
wire connections madeto the plug, and replaced. Itis STRONGLY
recommended that you do not connect multiple wires into a
single terminal. Wire nuts are recommended to ensure one wire
is used for each terminal. Failure to do so may result in intermit-
tent operation.
Typical18AWG thermostat wire maybe used to wirethe system
components. However, communications reliability may be im-
provedbyusingahighquality,shielded,twistedpaircableforthe
data tranmission lines.

Typical wiring will consist of two wires between the indoor unit
and outdoor unit and four wires between the indoor unit and

13 MISCELLANEOUS START-UP CHECKLIST
• Prior to start-up, ensure that all electrical wires are prop-
erly sized and all connections are properly tightened.
• Tubing must be leak free.
• Condensate line must be trapped and pitched to allow for
drainage.
• Auxiliary drain is installed when necessary and pitched to
allow for drainage.
• Low voltage wiring is properly connected.
• Unitisprotected from vehicularorotherphysicaldamage.
• Return air is not obtained from, nor are there any return
air duct joints that are unsealed in areas where there may
be objectionable odors, flammable vapors or products or
combustion such as carbon monoxide (CO), which may
cause serious personal injury or death.
14 TROUBLESHOOTING
14.1 Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Precautions
NOTE: Discharge your body’s static electricity before touching
unit. An electrostatic discharge can adversely affect electrical
components.
Use the following precautions during cased coil installation and
servicingtoprotecttheintegratedcontrolmodulefromdamage.
Byputtingthecasedcoil,the control,andthepersonatthesame
electrostatic potential, these steps will help avoid exposing the
integrated control module to electrostatic discharge. This proce-
dureisapplicabletobothinstalled anduninstalled(ungrounded)
cased coils.
1. Disconnect all power to the whole system. Do not touch
the integrated control module or any wire connected to
the control prior to discharging your body’s electrostatic
charge to ground.
2. Firmlytouchaclean,unpainted,metalsurfaceofthecased
coilnearthecontrol.Anytoolsheldinaperson’shanddur-
ing grounding will be discharged.
3. Service integrated control module or connecting wiring
following the discharge process in step 2. Use caution not
to recharge your body with static electricity; (i.e., do not
move or shuffle your feet, do not touch ungrounded ob-
jects, etc.) If you come in contact with an ungrounded ob-
ject, repeat step 2 before touching control or wires.
4. Discharge your body’s electrostatic charge to ground be-
fore removing a new control from its container. Follow
steps 1 through 3 if installing the control on a unit. Return
any old or new controls to their containers before touch-
ing any ungrounded object.
14.2 Diagnostic Chart
Refer to the Troubleshooting Chart on the following page for
assistance in determining the source of unit operational prob-
lems. The 7 segment LED display will provide any active fault
codes.

14.3 Fault Recall
The integrated control module is equipped with a momentary
push-button switch that can be used to display the last six faults
onthe7segmentLEDdisplay.Follow sequencebelowtousethe
feature. The control must be in Standby Mode (no thermostat
inputs).
1. Press FAULT RECALL button for 2 to 5 seconds*, so that 7
segment displays show “- -”.
2. Release FAULT RECALL button in this period, 7 segment
displays show the most recent fault.
3. Each time FAULT RECALL button is pressed after that**, 7
segment displays output next occurred fault.
4. After displaying the series of recent faults, 7 segment dis-
plays blink “- -” and goes back to Standby Mode.
To clear the error code history:
1. Press FAULT RECALL button for 10 to 15 seconds***, so
that 7 segment blinks “- -”.
2. Release FAULT RECALL button in this period, 7 segment
displays show “88” and faults are cleared.
NOTE:
* If FAULT RECALL button is not pressed long enough (for 2 to 5
seconds), control goes back to Standby Mode.
If the FAULT RECALL button is pressed for 5 to 10 seconds,
control goes back to Standby Mode.
** Consecutively repeated faults are displayed a maximum of
three times.

14.4 Network Troubleshooting
The ComfortNet system is a fully communicating system, consti-
tuting a network. Occasionally the need to troubleshoot the
network may arise. The integrated cased coil control has some
onboard tools are: red communications LED, green receive (Rx)
LED,andthelearnbutton.RefertotheCommunicationsTrouble-
shooting Chart on the following page for error codes, possible
causes and corrective actions.
• Red communications LED - Indicates the status of the net-
work. The Communications Troubleshooting Chart on the
followingpageindicatestheLEDstatusandthecorrespond-
ing potential problem.
• Green receives LED - Indicates network traffic. The follow-
ing table indicates the LED status and the corresponding
potential problem.
• Learnbutton-Usedtoresetthenetwork.Depressthebut-
ton for greater then 5 seconds to reset the network.

SETTING THE MODE DISPLAY
MODE DISPLAY INTRODUCTION
A 2-digit display is provided on the printed circuit board (PCB) as a backup tool to the
thermostat for accessing error codes and erasing error code history of the indoor unit. Follow the
information provided in this section to learn how to use the mode display
DISPLAY
The display consists of 2 digits.
DISPLAY BUTTON LAYOUT
The display buttons shown can be used to navigate and select items:
FAULT CODE HISTORY NAVIGATION
This mode will allow the user to see the six most recent system faults. Please follow the flow chart to
navigate to error codes from screen zero.
For a listof the fault codes, please see the TROUBLESHOOTING tables in this document.
It is also possible to erase all the diagnostics codes from this menu.
