The Dell S2817Q monitor has an active matrix, thinfilm transistor (TFT), liquid crystal
display (LCD), and LED backlight. The monitor features include:
• 70.86cm (27.9-inch) viewable area display (measured diagonally).
3840x2160 resolution with full-screen support for lower resolutions.
• Mega dynamic contrast ratio (8,000,000:1).
• Tilt capability.
• Dual HDMI/MHL offers seamless connectivity to secondary devices such as select
smartphones, DVD players, gaming consoles etc.
• Removable stand.
• Plug and play capable if supported by your system.
• Color gamut of 72% (typical).
• On-screen display (OSD) adjustments for easy setup and screen optimization.
• Software and documentation media includes an information file (INF), Image-color
matching file (ICM), and product documentation.
• Dell display manager software (available on the disc shipped with the monitor).
• Energy saver feature for energy star compliance.
• Security-lock slot.
• Capability of switching from wide aspect to standard aspect ratio while maintaining
image quality.
• EPEAT Silver rating.
• BFR/PVC- reduced.
• TCO-certified displays.
• Arsenic-free glass and mercury-free for the panel only.

1AC power connector To connect the monitor power cable.
2USB downstream ports Connect your USB device. You can only use this
connector after you have connected the USB cable
to the computer and USB upstream connector on
the monitor.
3USB upstream port Connect the USB cable that comes with your
monitor to the computer. Once this cable is
connected, you can use the USB downstream
connectors on the monitor.
4Audio line-out port Connect speakers to playback audio coming
through HDMI or DP audio channels.
Only supports 2-channel audio.
NOTE: The audio line-out port does not support
headphones.
WARNING: Excessive sound pressure from
earphones or headphones can cause hearing
damage or loss.
5HDMI (MHL) 1 port Connect your computer with HDMI cable or
portable device with MHL cable.
6HDMI (MHL) 2 port Connect your computer with HDMI cable or
portable device with MHL cable.
