Connect the external antennas.
(required for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth)
Connect the left and right speakers to the
PMA-150H using the speaker cables.
Insert the batteries
into the remote.
Connect the power cord from the PMA-150H
to a power outlet.

Make sure your iOS device is connected
to your Wi-Fi Network. Select the network
named “Denon PMA-150H” from the
Settings/ Wi-Fi screen on your device.

Press the key on your PMA-150H or the “Bluetooth” button on
the remote to switch the input source to “Bluetooth”.
• When using for the first time, the PMA-150H will go into the pairing mode
automatically and “Bluetooth Pairing Mode” will appear on the display of the
PMA-150 H .

To reconnect a previously paired Bluetooth device, start at step 2. To pair with other Bluetooth devices, press and hold the “Bluetooth” button on the
remote until “Bluetooth Pairing Mode” is displayed on the PMA-150H.

No sound:
• Check all connections.
• Make sure the bare metal wire ends of the speaker wires are in contact with
the metal part of the speaker terminals.
• Make sure the PMA-150H input is set to the optical input the TV is connected to.
• Make sure the digital output of the TV is set to PCM audio and not bitstream,
Dolby or multichannel.
Trouble-shooting common issues connecting to TV
Connect the optical cable from your TV to the “OPTICAL IN 1”
connector of the PMA-150H.

Turn on your TV.
・ The PMA-150H automatically turns on and switches the input to the “OPTICAL IN 1”.
Download the HEOS App
Listening to sound from your TV
The HEOS App lets you control your PMA-150H
from anywhere in your home. Use HEOS to
explore, browse, and play music from many online
streaming services or from your own music library.

Download the dedicated driver from the
“Download” section of the PMA-150H page of
the Denon website
(http://www.denon.com/pages/home.aspx)
onto your PC.
Install the driver.
Unzip the downloaded file, and
double-click the exe file.
• The driver software cannot be installed correctly if your PC is connected to the unit by a USB cable.
• If the unit and your computer are connected by a USB cable and the computer is switched on before installation, disconnect the USB and restart the computer.
Basic trouble shooting
Select the language to use for the
installation.
Click “OK” to start the setup wizard.
The wizard menu is displayed.
Follow the instructions on the screen.

4. Listening to computer audio
Installing the Windows driver software The installation of the driver software is not necessary in the following cases.
・When you do not play back the music from a PC using USB-DAC of this unit.

When using a macOS.

Connecting to PC or Mac
Connect the PMA-150H to your PC
or Mac using the USB cable.
Power on. Press key to switch the input
source to “USB-DAC”.

On your PC or Mac, select the PMA-150H
as the current output device.
Listening to PC or Mac Audio
Click the “Start” button and click
“Control Panel” on the PC.
• The control panel setting list is displayed.
Click the “Sound” icon.
• The sound menu window is displayed.
Make sure under “Playback” tab the
“PMA-150H” is set as “Default Device” indicated
by the checkmark.
• When there is a checkmark for a different device, click
“PMA-150H” and “Set Default”.
Select “PMA-150H” and click “Properties”.
• The Digital Audio Interface Properties window is
displayed.
Click the “Advanced” tab.
Click “Apply”.
Click “Test”.
• Check that audio is heard from the speakers connected
to the “PMA-150H”.
Select the sampling rate and bit rate to be
applied to the D/A converter.
• It is recommended that “2 channel, 24 bit, 192000 Hz
(Studio Quality)” or “2 channel, 32 bit, 192000 Hz
(Studio Quality)” is selected.

Use your favorite music applications on
your PC or Mac to play audio through the
PMA-150H.
• For high resolution audio playback you will need
to obtain an advanced audio software such as a
JRiver Media Center or Audirvana.
The sampling frequency of the music file
is displayed.
From the Finder, select the Utilities menu item
from the Go menu.
• The utility list is displayed.
Double-click “Audio MIDI Setup”.
• The “Audio Devices” window is displayed.
Check that “Use this device for sound output”
is checked in “PMA-150H”.
• If a different device is checked, select and “Secondary
click” on “PMA-150H”, and then select “Use this device
for sound output”.
Select the “PMA-150H” format.
• It is normally recommended to set the format to
“384000.0 Hz” and “2ch-32 bit Interger”.
Click “Quit Audio MIDI Setup”.
