Check & Clean
Only demineralized water may be used to check the lid(s) using the Check & Clean cap. ☐
When conducting the Check & Clean process, the O-ring on the water tank must not be damaged. ☐
The O-rings on the adapters must be checked regularly and replaced every 90 days. ☐
The drain filter could potentially be contaminated. ☐
Only the original NitraClean cleaning tablets may be used in the DAC Universal.
If other cleaning tablets are used, there may be a risk of poisoning. ☐

Demonstration of replacement of the NitramOil #2 lubrication concentrate.
Note about loosening the transport lock before replacing the lubrication concentrate
The lubrication concentrate NitramOil #2 must be tightened carefully with two fingers.

Ensure that no oil gets into the water tank. ☐
Drain tank
There is a risk of contamination if the drain tank overflows, tips over or is not installed correctly. The user must check
the drain tank regularly. ☐
There is a risk of contamination with the drain tank if it is not cleaned regularly. The drain tank must be filled with iso-
propyl up to the lower mark after emptying/cleaning. ☐
There is a risk of burns when the waste water enters the drain tank. ☐
Waste water - double chamber siphon
There is a risk of contamination if the waste water is not connected to a double chamber siphon or has been incorrectly
installed. ☐

Care instructions
Previously unnoticed damage to the bearings of the rotary instruments may become visible after cleaning with the DAC
Universal. ☐
Note on the necessity for manual lubrication of the chuck as per the manufacturer's instructions before the cycle in the
DAC Universal. ☐
Predisinfect the instruments directly at the treatment center. ☐
Purge the water and air channels on the treatment center for 30 seconds. ☐
Additional manual lubrication of the gears of the transmission instruments may result in over-lubrication. ☐
Risks
There is a risk of contamination if the combination filter is missing, the wrong combination filter is used, or the combina-
tion filter is put in the wrong way round. ☐
There is a risk of contamination if cleaned instruments touch the device housing. ☐
There is a risk of burns when unloading the instruments or when the device is idle. ☐
There is a risk of burns, amongst other things, on the basin, the load, the drain filter and on the metallic parts of the lid.☐
There is the risk of pinching the fingers on the edge of the basin when closing it. ☐
