General Information

Warranty
• Product warranty will expire 12+1 months after dispatch from Desoutter's Distribution Center.
• Normal wear and tear on parts is not included within the warranty.
• Normal wear and tear is that which requires a part change or other adjustment/overhaul during standard tools
maintenance typical for that period (expressed in time, operation hours or otherwise).
• The product warranty relies on the correct use, maintenance, and repair of the tool and its component parts.
• Damage to parts that occurs as a result of inadequate maintenance or performed by parties other than Desoutter
or their Certified Service Partners during the warranty period is not covered by the warranty.
• To avoid damage or destruction of tool parts, service the tool according to the recommended maintenance sched-
ules and follow the correct instructions.
• Warranty repairs are only performed in Desoutter workshops or by Certified Service Partners.
Desoutter offers extended warranty and state of the art preventive maintenance through its Tool Care contracts. For
further information contact your local Service representative.
For electrical motors:
• Warranty will only apply when the electric motor has not been opened.

Assembling the charger
The QA-CHARGER can be assembled in two different ways, with four M4 screws.

The QA-CHARGER can be installed both horizontally and vertically, on a tabletop or in a cabinet.

Operating the charger
The QA-CHARGER is designed for a mains voltage/frequency range of 100V to 240V and 50Hz to 60Hz.
1. Connect the charger to the mains power. When the charger is connected to the mains supply, the power indica-
tor glows green.
2. Insert the Li-ion battery into the charging station. Charging starts automatically as soon as the battery is in-
serted. The charging time depends on the charge state of the Li-ion battery.
Battery Health and Charge Display
When the charger is connected to a battery, the state of health (SOH) indicator glows, while the state of charge
(SOC) indicator glows for 3 seconds before starting the charge pattern .

Battery health is shown by the colors of the battery indicator.

The battery charge is shown by the bars in the battery indicator and shows 5 levels:

Interconnect chargers
The charger has built in interconnection. The maximum number of chargers interconnected is limited, depending on
the output voltage of the power supply.
• Maximum 4 chargers at 100VAC (Japan)
• Maximum 5 chargers at 110-120VAC
• Maximum 10 chargers at 240VAC
This includes the master charger, that is connected to the alternating current (AC) grid.

Garantie
• La garantie du produit expirera 12+1mois après l’expédition depuis de Centre de distribution de Desoutter.
• L'usure normale des pièces n'est pas comprise dans la garantie.
• L'usure normale est celle nécessitant un changement de pièces ou autres opérations de réglage et de révision
pendant l'entretien courant de l'outil pendant la période donnée (exprimée en temps, heures de fonctionne-
ment ou autres).
• La garantie du produit repose sur une utilisation correcte, un entretien normal et des réparations appropriées de
l'outil et de ses composants.
• La détérioration des pièces consécutive à un entretien inadéquat ou réalisé par des parties autres que Desoutter
ou ses partenaires d'entretien agréés pendant la période de garantie ne sera pas prise en charge.
• Pour éviter la détérioration ou la destruction de certaines parties de l'outil, il convient de procéder à l'entretien de
ce dernier conformément aux périodicités d'entretien recommandées et de suivre les bonnes consignes.
• Les réparations dans le cadre de la garantie ne sont effectuées que dans les ateliers de Desoutter ou par des parte-
naires d'entretien agréés.
Desoutter propose une extension de garantie et un entretien préventif à la pointe de la technologie par le biais de ses
contrats Tool Care. Pour en savoir plus, s'adresser au représentant SAV local.
Pour les moteurs électriques:
• La garantie ne s'appliquera que si le moteur électrique n'a pas été ouvert.

Fonctionnement du chargeur
Le QA-CHARGER a été conçu pour une plage de tension/fréquence du secteur de 100 à 240V et 50 à 60Hz.
1. Brancher le chargeur sur le secteur. Lorsque le chargeur est branché sur secteur, le témoin d'alimentation s'al-
lume en vert.
2. Insérer la batterie Li-ion dans le chargeur. La charge démarre automatiquement dès que la batterie est insérée.
Le temps de charge dépend de l'état de charge de la batterie Li-ion.
État de la batterie et Affichage de la charge
Lorsque le chargeur est connecté à une batterie, le témoin d'état de santé (SOH) s’allume alors que le témoin d'état de
charge (SOC) s'allume pendant 3secondes avant le début du programme de mise en charge.

L’état de la batterie s’affiche avec les couleurs du témoin de la batterie.

Le chargeur possède une interconnexion intégrée. Le nombre maximum de chargeurs interconnectés est limité, en
fonction de la tension de sortie de l’alimentation électrique.
• 4 chargeurs maximum à 100 V CA (Japon)
• 5 chargeurs maximum à 110-120 V CA
• 10 chargeurs maximum à 240 V CA
Cela inclut le chargeur maître, qui est branché au réseau de courant alternatif (CA).
