Maintenance
Regular maintenance, once a year, is needed to guarantee that your UP stairlift
will keep working properly. This maintenance can only be carried out by
DeVi-Stairlifts authorised dealers/technicians. Never do repairs on the UP stairlift
yourself. We therefore advise you to take out a maintenance contract to ensure
that your stairlift will stay in optimal condition. Contact your dealer for more
information about the maintenance contract.
Cleaning
Clean the UP stairlift on a regular basis. For cleaning avoid excessive use of
water and caustic detergents. Clean the seat, back support, armrests and
footrest exclusively with a damp cloth. Clean the rails regularly with a dry
cloth. If there is dirt on the rails this can easily be removed by a cloth with
lenient detergent. For the first 50 rides, polish can come off the lift due to
the running in of the stairlift. Over time the pinion can leave traces on the rail.
