8. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
WARNING:
A. Any service is to be performed only by qualified personnel who are familiar with local codes
and regulations and are experienced with this type of product.
B. Always unplug or disconnect the appliance from the power supply before installation,
servicing or cleaning the unit.
C. Never use petrol, benzene, thinners or any other such chemicals for cleaning the unit.
D. Don’t allow water or any liquid to enter the motor.
E. Use the unit at the rated voltage and frequency indicated on the rating label.
8.1.Routine maintenance must be carried out every year. Ensure the fan wheels are well kept, and free
from dust.
8.2.Plastic parts should be cleaned with mild soap water, thoroughly remove soap film with a clean
damp cloth.
8.3.Dry the case with a soft dry cloth before operating the unit.
8.4.If any abnormality occurs during operation, turn the unit off immediately and check the problem.
POWER SWITCH: The power switch is the main switch and it can be
used to turn the fan and heater(s) on/off. To operate the fan setting
turn the power switch on, ensuring both heater switches are turned
off. The power switch will also need to be switched on to activate both
heat settings, alongside their corresponding heater switch. When the
power switch is on, the light will illuminate. When it is switched off, the
light will go off.
HEATER SWITCH: If only one of
the heater switches are on, the
units heating power is 1.5kW
When both heating switches are
turned on, the heating power is
3kW. When the heater switch or
heater switches is/are turned on,
the heater switch light(s) will
illuminate. When the heater
switch or heater switches is/are
turned off, the light(s) will go off.
