IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using the appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
xPlease read this instruction manual carefully before use.
xHome use only. Do not use for industrial purposes.
xBefore the first use of the appliance check that voltage indicated on the rating label
corresponds the mains voltage in your home.
xDanger of electric shock exists even when the appliance is switched off. Always unplug the
appliance from the power supply when is not use.
xOil heater should never be used under conditions where it may be immersed or come in
contact with water, and also do not use the appliance in rooms with the increased
moistness.
xDo not operate the oil heater with a damaged cord or plug.
xReturn malfunctioning appliances for repair to near service center. Repair of the device only
by qualified persons.
xClose supervision is required when appliance is used near children.
xAlways remove the plug from the power supply before cleaning.
xUnplug oil heater by grasping plug and pulling it from the power supply. Pull on the plug, not
on the cord.
xDo not use out of the room.
xDo not insert and pull out the plug with wet hand, as this may cause electrical shock.
xThe oil heater must be used only in the upright position.
xThe unit should be far away from the object flammable or easily deformed objects during
uses.
xPlace the oil heater on the floor at least 90 cm away from the wall and any other objects
such as furniture, curtains or plants.
xSurface temperature of the appliance is high, thus do not touch it, except the handle.
CAUTION:
xDo not cover the appliance when is use.

xThis heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Let
the heater cool down before moving. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows,
bedding, paper, clothes and curtains at least 1m away from the front, sides and rear of the
heater.
ASSEMBLING
xDo not operate the oil heater without the base support fixed correctly.
xTo fix the rear support base, fit it tightly against the fin, until it stays in
place.
xTo fix the front support base, fit it tightly against the bottom on the front
panel.
xAfter fixing the supports, ensure that the heater is stable on the floor.
USING THE APPLIANCE
xSet the thermostat to the minimal position and plug into a power suitable power source.
THERMOSTAT
xThe thermostat will automatically maintain your desired room temperature and will turn on
and off based on the temperature you set.
xTurn the thermostat control clockwise all the way round until you hear a click, this sound
indicates that the oil heater is activated, the indicator light is ON. Continue turning the
thermostat control clockwise to its highest setting.
xWhen the indicator light is ON, the heater is activated. This light turns ON and OFF
automatically according to whether the heater is on or off.
xTurning the thermostat clockwise will always increase the set temperature; turning it
anticlockwise will decrease the set temperature.
NOTE:
xThe room must be sealed in good condition, if not, the heating will be less effective.
xAfter use, turn the thermostat to the minimal position and unplug from power supply.
xThis heater is fit with tip-over protection so it will cease heating if it falls over.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
xThe oil heater should be cleaned regularly to wipe out the dust on the surface of fins. As this
may result the radiating efficient.
xUnplug from the power supply and allow the appliance to cool down.
xWipe out with a soft damp cloth. Do not use detergent or abrasives.
xDo not scrap the surfaces of fins with sharp hard tools, to avoid surfaces getting rusty,
because of damage of the paint coat.
STORAGE
xEnsure the oil heater is completely cool.
xRoll up the power cord in the supports when the heater is not in
use.
xStore the appliance in a cool, dry place.

CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT
When the time comes to eliminate this product, please consider the environmental impact, and take it to
recognised recycling facility instead of disposing it with general household waste. Take the equipment to
a waste disposal site. Plastic and metal parts that are used in the construction of this appliance can be
separated into pure grade which allow recycling. Ask to your service centre for details.
