Many 2005-Up Vo vos inc ude Auxi iary jack, Sate ite Radio,
B uetooth hands-free options however; if your Vo vo does not have
B uetooth but radio is AUX Ready, the VOL-HF kits adds B uetooth
hands-free ca ing, B uetooth Audio streaming, USB Charging AUX
jack retention (if so equipped)— Pair Smartphone, Tab et, Kind e
and more and enjoy B uetooth feature without changing the factory
Radio.

To insta , user must gain access to the back of the CD p ayer.
1. Detach the pane at the rear edge of the center conso e:
Use a p astic dash remova too to pry oose the pane . Pane is
secured by a catch on each short side. See Fig. 1

2. Remove surround around the disp ay and media p ayer:
Use a sma screwdriver and press in the catches on upper
corners. Carefu y prize the surround away on one side using a
p astic dash remova too . Fo d the surround backwards into the
vehic e. Pu the surround up unti it detaches. (See Fig. 2

3. Press out the disp ay modu e from reverse side of the center
conso e. Press straight out using both hands. Disconnect the
two p ugs. Put the disp ay to one side. (See Fig. 3

4. Remove (2) screws (Torx 25) ho ding the center conso e to
dashboard. Remove green p ug on the reverse side of c imate
contro pane . Remove center conso e from the dashboard (See
Fig.

15. Pu out the CD p ayer and disconnect the gray 14-pin p ug on
the rear side. (it is not necessary to disconnect fiber or antenna
cab es)

accessory supp y wires on the CD p ayer p ug, however we
recommend using the supp y wire on cigar ighter p ug.

the contro button must be within reach of the driver and
facing driver for voice commands and phone dia og (cab e is

This process is required the first time you use the VOL-HF. After
initia pairing, the VOL-HF wi automatica y reconnect with the
paired phone upon entering the vehic e.
1. Turn the vehic e ignition to “ON”. (Red LED inside modu e
wi begin to f ash)
2. Access your Smartphone B uetooth menu settings, and
search (scan) for devices.
3. Se ect G2 and c ick “Connect”
Note: Supports mu tip e phones but connects to on y one phone at a time.

If MODE button on dash pane switches radio to “AUX Audio input”
(See Fig.29), the VOL-HF wi work as described. Most vehic es with
AUX Audio input mode inc udes an AUX Jack on the dash (armrest),
however if yours is missing or broken, a separate aux input is avai ab e
on the modu e. Simp y connect your audio device there and press

We found having the contro button/mic mounted higher on the dash
worked best, but we encourage users to experiment with different
ocation and decide what works best for them.

connected. Once B uetooth is turned off, the device wi be free and
