About Battery
● Do not short-circuit the batteries, do not disassemble or
heat the batteries, and do not throw the batteries into fire.
● If your skin or clothing comes into contact with the battery
liquid, wash it away with water completely. If your eye
comes into contact with it, wash it away with clean water
and then see a doctor as soon as possible.
● Do not leave the batteries within the reach of an infant. In
case a battery is swallowed, see a doctor as soon as
possible.
● Pay attention to the polarities (+/-) of the batteries and put
them in the product in a correct manner.
● When the batteries are exhausted or the product is not
used for a long period of time, remove the batteries.
● When you dispose of the batteries, follow the local
instructions.
● Do not use an old battery with a new battery in a mixed
manner.
● Do not use different types of batteries or batteries of
different manufacturers in a mixed manner.
● If an unprecedented difference such as heat generation
from the batteries or battery deformation is observed when
the product is used or stored, stop using it.

Battery Replacement
* Battery: AAA dry battery

*The supplied battery is just for checking operation. The life may
be short.
1. Open the stand on the rear side of the main unit, and
remove the battery cover by sliding it in the arrow direction.
(Fig. 1)
2. Remove the old battery and put a new battery in the product.
* Be careful with the polarity (+/-) of the battery when putting a
battery in the product. (Fig. 2)
3. Close the battery cover by sliding it.
How to Use
The power cannot be turned on
• Check to see whether the polarity (+/-) of the battery is correct.
• Replace the battery with new one.
The display is lighter
• Replace the battery with new one.

How to Clean
When the main unit becomes dirty, wipe the unit with a
tightly squeezed wet cloth.
● If the unit becomes heavily dirty, wipe the unit with a cloth
containing a little of a neutral detergent for kitchen use.
●
Do not use boiling water, alcohol, thinner, benzine, and the like.
Failure to observe this may cause discoloration,
deformation, and breakage.
● Never wash the product in water.
Do not splash water directly on the product, and do not let
the product contact with detergents. Failure to observe
this may cause a failure.

* Be aware that the specifications of the product are subject to
change without notice due to product improvement.
1. Press the [TIMER/CLOCK]
button to call the clock
display.
2. Hold down the [TIMER/CLOCK] button for three seconds or
more, and “Time” blinks with a beep.
3. Press the [10 MIN] and [1 MIN] buttons
to adjust “Hour.”
[10 MIN] button: An hour forward each time
this button is pressed once
[1 MIN] button: An hour backward each time
this button is pressed once
* Keeping on pressing these buttons moves forward or backward
faster.
* When the “AM/PM” mode is selected, automatic switching
between AM and PM is performed.
When the [TIMER/CLOCK] button is pressed after displaying a
time to be set, “Minute” blinks.
4. Press the [10 MIN] and [1 MIN]
buttons to adjust “Minute.”
[10 MIN] button: A minute forward
each time this button is pressed once
[1 MIN] button: A minute backward
each time this button is pressed once
5. Select a display mode.
Each time the [10 SEC] button is pressed, the display is
alternately switched between the “AM/PM” mode and “24 Hour”
mode. Select your favorite mode.
6. Press the [TIMER/CLOCK] button.
The clock starts and the settings are completed.
* If the “24 Hour” mode is selected, “24” is not displayed after time
setting.
* When the battery is replaced or removed, the time is reset to the
initial setting. The initial setting time is “12:00 AM.”
* If no operation is performed for approximately five minutes
during setting operation, the time is automatically set to the
displayed time and the clock moves according to the time.
1. Press the [TIMER/CLOCK] button to activate the timer
display.
2. Press the [RESET] button to set the display to “00M00S.”
* If the product is in the counting operation, press the
[START/STOP] button to let the product pause, and then, press
the [RESET] button.
3. Press the [10 MIN], [1 MIN], and [10 SEC] buttons to set the
time.
Example1): When the time is set to 35 minutes and 40 seconds,
press the [10 MIN] button three times → press the [1 MIN] button
five times → press the [10 SEC] button four times.
* Keeping on pressing the [10 MIN], [1 MIN], and [10 SEC] buttons
moves the setting number faster.
4. Pressing the [START/STOP] button starts counting down,
and when a set time elapses, an alarm is issued for
approximately15 seconds.
* To stop the alarm, press any button.
(Repeat function: Even if the alarm is stopped by pressing any
button, the time returns to the former set time.)
* Pressing the [START/STOP] button during counting down allows
the product to pause. To continue counting down, press the
[START/STOP] button again.
* Pressing the [TIMER/CLOCK] button during counting down
allows the clock to be displayed, but counting down continues,
and when a set time elapses, an alarm is issued.
1. Press the [TIMER/CLOCK] button to activate the timer
display.
2. Press the [RESET] button to set the display to “00M00S.”
3. Pressing the [START/STOP] button starts counting up.
4. Pressing the [START/STOP] button during counting up
allows counting up to pause. To restart counting up, press
the [START/STOP] button again.
* Keeping on pressing these buttons moves forward or backward
faster.
