Connecting to the
Dyson Link app
The Dyson Link app allows you to control, schedule,
monitor, and customise your settings for your appliance
from your mobile device.
Wi-Fi is enabled by default. To disable or enable
the Wi-Fi press and hold the ON/OFF button on the
appliance for 5 Seconds.
Plug in your appliance to the mains electricity
supply and turn on the power.
Check your mobile device is compatible
with the app, switched on, connected to
a Wi-Fi network and Bluetooth ®wireless
technology enabled.
If you do not already have the Dyson Link app
you will need to download it from the App
Store or Google Play.
Open the Dyson Link app and follow the
instructions to create a new account if you do
not already have one.
Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your
appliance to the Dyson Link app.
You will now be able to use the Dyson
Link app to monitor information from
the appliance, control your appliance,
schedule use and also keep up to date with
system upgrades.
If you experience problems downloading
the Dyson Link app or pairing your device;
first check that you are connected to a Wi-Fi
network and Bluetooth ®wireless technology
is enabled on your mobile device and
try again.
If you continue to experience problems
downloading the app or pairing your device,
please contact the Dyson Helpline.

WARNING
THE APPLIANCE AND THE REMOTE CONTROL
BOTH CONTAIN MAGNETS.
1. Pacemakers and defibrillators may be affected
by strong magnetic fields. If you or someone
in your household has a pacemaker or
defibrillator, avoid placing the remote control in
a pocket or near to the device.
2. Credit cards and electronic storage media may
also be affected by magnets and should be kept
away from the remote control and the top of
the appliance.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC
SHOCK, OR INJURY:
3. Some parts of this appliance can become very
hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to
be given where children and vulnerable people
are present.
4. This Dyson appliance can be used by
children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or
reasoning capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, only if they have been given
supervision or instruction by a responsible
person concerning use of the appliance in a

appliance provided that it has been placed
or installed in its intended normal operating
position and they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning the use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children aged from
3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in,
regulate and clean the appliance or perform
user maintenance.
6. Children of less than 3 years should be kept
away unless continuously supervised.
7. This appliance must not be located immediately
below a socket outlet.
8. Do not use this appliance in the immediate
surroundings of a bath, a shower or a
swimming pool.
9. To avoid overheating,
do not cover the appliance.
10. If the supply cable is damaged, it must be
replaced or repaired by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
11. Do not use this appliance in small rooms when
they are occupied by persons not capable of
leaving the room on their own, unless constant
supervision is provided.
12. To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains,
or any other flammable material a minimum
distance of 1 metre from the air outlet.
13. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces and do
not handle any part of the appliance or plug
with wet hands.
14. Keep the appliance away from flammable
liquids, vapours, air fresheners and
essential oils.
15. Always plug directly into a wall socket. Never
use with an extension cable as overloading may
result in the cable overheating and catching fire.
16. Do not use this appliance if it has been
damaged or submerged in water.
17. Do not use this appliance if it has been dropped
or if it has visible signs of damage.
18. Keep this appliance and cable away from
heated surfaces. Do not position the cable
under furniture or appliances.
19. Do not put any objects into the air amplifier
opening as this may cause an electric shock.
20. Always carry this appliance by the base and not
by the loop amplifier.
21. Always use this appliance on a horizontal and
stable surface.
22. If there is a loose fit between the plug and
the socket or the plug becomes very hot, the
socket may need to be replaced. Check with a
qualified electrician to replace the socket.
23. Chemical Burn and Choking Hazard. Keep
batteries away from children. This product
contains a lithium button/coin cell battery. If
a new or used lithium button/coin cell battery
is swallowed or enters the body, it can cause
severe internal burns and can lead to death
in as little as 2 hours. Always completely
secure the battery compartment. If the battery
compartment does not close securely, stop using
the product, remove the batteries, and keep it
away from children. If you think batteries might
have been swallowed or placed inside any part
of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Use both hands to lift the
appliance out of the box,
taking care to hold by the
base of the appliance only.
Do not lift out by the
amplifier loop.
Take the carbon filters out
of the box and remove the
protective packaging.
Attach both carbon filters to
the appliance.
Slide the buttons down on both
sides of the shrouds.
The shrouds will release with the
glass HEPA filters attached.
Position the shrouds onto the base
and push gently until they click
securely into place.
Place the remote control on the
top of the appliance with the
buttons facing down.

With continuous monitoring
enabled, your appliance will
gather air quality, temperature
and humidity information, which is
displayed on the LCD screen and in
the Dyson Link app.
By default, continuous monitoring
is disabled. Once enabled,
continuous monitoring is
always active.
To enable/disable

Press and hold the auto mode
button on the remote for 5 seconds
to enable it. The LCD screen
will indicate when continuous
monitoring is enabled or disabled.

Press this button to scroll through
the information being monitored by
your appliance.
Information about air quality,
temperature humidity and filter
levels are shown.
When a pollutant causes the air
quality to drop, the relevant symbol
will show on the LCD screen.
Indoor air quality - 12 seconds
Monitor the current air quality with a
graph showing the last 12 seconds
of data.
Indoor air quality - 24 hours
Monitors the air quality with a graph
showing 24 hours of data, updated
at fifteen minute intervals.
Particulate matter (PM2.5)
Monitors the presence of
microscopic particles up to
2.5 microns in size, suspended in
the air we breathe. These include
smoke, bacteria and allergens.
Nitrogen dioxide and other
oxidising gases
These potentially harmful gases are
released into the air by combustion,
for example the burning gas
when cooking and in vehicle
exhaust emissions.
Volatile organic compounds
VOCs are typically odours that
may be potentially harmful. These
can be found in cleaning products,
paints and new furnishings.
Indoor temperature
Monitor the ambient
temperature to help maintain a
comfortable environment.
Wi-Fi
Displays the current status of the
connection to the Wi-Finetwork.
Filters
Displays the remaining lifespan for
each filter unit. When a filter unit
needs changing, the display will
remind you.
Indoor humidity
Displays the amount of water
vapour in the air, shown as a
percentage of the maximum
possible humidity at the
current temperature.
Particulate matter (PM10)
Monitors the presence of larger
microscopic particles, up to
10 microns in size, suspended in the
air we breathe. These include dust,
mould and pollen.

and the on-board sensors will
intelligently adjust the settings of
the appliance according to the
air quality.
Air quality: your appliance will
pause when the target air quality
has been reached, switching
on again when the air quality
levels drop.
Airflow speed: The airflow speed
will increase until the target air
quality and temperature have
been reached.
Night mode: Your appliance will
only run with Airflow speeds from
1 to 4.

Press the button to set the required
room temperature.
Your appliance will pause when the
temperature set has been reached.
Press the Cooling mode button to
switch your appliance from Heating
mode to Cooling mode.

to increase and decrease the
airflow speed.
Press the Airflow direction button to
change the direction of airflow from
front to back. Your appliance will
continue to purify in both settings.
Heating mode will only function
when the air direction is set to the
front. If airflow is changed to the
back, your appliance will change to
cooling mode.
Oscillation
Press the button to circulate the air
around the room and scroll through
the oscillation settings from 0° to
350°.

Sleep timer
Your appliance will turn off
automatically after the selected
amount of time.
To set the time: Press the button
to scroll through the time options.
Once activated press the Sleep timer
button once to see the time selected.
To cancel the Sleep timer: Press the
Sleep timer button twice.
Night mode
In Night mode, your appliance
will continue to monitor and
respond to changes in air quality
and temperature, but only using
its quietest settings – and with its
LCD screen dimmed.
Care and
maintenance
To always get the best performance from your
appliance, it is important to regularly clean it and check
for blockages.
Changing your filters:
The display on your appliance and app will indicate
when to change your filters.
Order new filters on the Dyson Link app or
www.dyson.com. Your new filters will come with
instructions, go online for further support and videos.
Do not use your appliance without the filters in place.
Unplug your appliance from the mains electricity supply
before cleaning or changing filters.
Error codes:
If your appliance shows an error code, try turning it off
and then on again. If this does not clear the error code
contact Dyson Customer Care.

CONTROL WITHOUT THE REMOTE
• The machine can be controlled through your Dyson Link app.
DYSON LINK APP CONNECTIVITY
• You must have a live internet connection and app enabled device in order for the Dyson
Link app to work.
• The machine can connect to either 2.4GHz or 5GHz networks which includes most
modern routers. Check your router documentation for compatibility.
• The Dyson Link app requires an iOS device with at least iOS version 10* or an Android
device with at least Android version 5.
• Your mobile device must have Bluetooth ®wireless technology 4.0 support (Bluetooth ®
wireless technology Low Energy) in order to set up a connection with the machine. Check
your device specification for compatibility.

REPLACEABLE PARTS
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
CAUTION
• Unscrew the battery compartment on the remote control. Loosen the base and pull to
remove the battery.
• Do not install backwards or short circuit the batteries.
• Do not attempt to dismantle or charge the batteries. Keep away from fire.
• Follow battery manufacturers' instructions when installing new batteries (battery type
CR 2032).
• Always replace the screw in the remote control and refer to the battery hazard in the
warning section.
NON-WASHABLE FILTER UNITS
• Your filter units are non-washable and non-recyclable.
• Failure to replace the filter units when prompted may result in changes to product
performance and appearance.
• Order new filters from the Dyson Link app or visit www.dyson.com. Your new filters will
come with instructions or go online for further support and videos.
AUTO MODE
• A period of 6 days is required after the machine is first used for the sensor to calibrate.
During this period the machine may be more sensitive to VOCs (such as odours)
than normal.
• During first use, whilst the sensors calibrate, the machine can take up to 60 minutes to
show VOC and NO2 data.
AUTOMATIC CUT-OUT
• For your safety, this machine is fitted with automatic cut-out switches that operate if the
machine tips over or overheats. If the switches operate, unplug the machine and allow
it to cool. Before restarting the machine check and clear any blockages and ensure the
machine is on a solid level surface.
• In heating mode the machine will automatically switch off after 9 hours of continuous use.
To restart the machine, press the Standby ON/OFF button on either the remote control or
the base, or restart via the Dyson Link app.
DISPOSAL INFORMATION
• Dyson products are made from high grade recyclable materials. Recycle wherepossible.
• Dispose of or recycle the battery in accordance with local ordinances or regulations.
• This symbol indicates that this appliance should not be disposed with your general
household waste. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from
uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of
material resources. When this appliance has reached the end of its serviceable life, please
take it to a recognised WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) collection facility
such as your local civic amenity site for recycling. Your local authority or retailer will be
able to advise you of your nearest recycling facility.
• The battery should be removed for separate recycling.
• Keep the used batteries away from children as these can still harm children if swallowed.
• Your filter units are non-washable and non-recyclable.
• Dispose of the exhausted filter units in accordance with local ordinances or regulations.
• The battery should be removed from the product before disposal.

Alternatively, you can call the Dyson Helpline with your serial number and details of where
and when you bought the machine.
Your serial number can be found on your rating plate which is on the base of your machine.
If your Dyson machine needs a service, call the Dyson Helpline so we can discuss the
available options. If your Dyson machine is under guarantee, and the repair is covered, it will
be repaired at no cost.

This will confirm ownership of your Dyson machine in the event of an insurance loss, and
enable us to contact you if necessary.
LIMITED 2 YEAR GUARANTEE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE DYSON 2 YEAR LIMITED GUARANTEE
WHAT IS COVERED
• The repair or replacement of your Dyson machine (at Dyson’s discretion) if it is found to be
defective due to faulty materials, workmanship or function within 2 years of purchase or
delivery (if any part is no longer available or out of manufacture, Dyson will replace it with
a functional replacement part).
• Where this machine is sold outside of the EU, this guarantee will only be valid if the
machine is used in the country in which it was sold.
• Where this machine is sold within the EU, this guarantee will only be valid (i) if the machine
is used in the country in which it was sold or (ii) if the machine is used in Austria, Belgium,
France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain or the United Kingdom and the same
model as this machine is sold at the same voltage rating in the relevant country.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
• Replacement filter units. The machine's filter units are not covered by the guarantee.
Dyson does not guarantee the repair or replacement of a product where a defect is the
result of:
• Damage caused by not carrying out the recommended machine maintenance.
• Accidental damage, faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse, neglect, careless
operation or handling of the machine which is not in accordance with the Dyson
User manual.
• Use of the machine for anything other than normal domestic household purposes.
• Use of parts not assembled or installed in accordance with the instructions of Dyson.
• Use of parts and accessories which are not genuine Dyson components.
• Faulty installation (except where installed by Dyson).
• Repairs or alterations carried out by parties other than Dyson or its authorised agents.
• Blockages – Please refer to the ‘Looking after your machine’ section and illustrations in
your Dyson User manual for details on how to look for and clear blockages.
• Normal wear and tear (e.g. fuse etc.).
• Reduction in battery discharge time due to battery age or use (where applicable).
If you are in any doubt as to what is covered by your guarantee, please contact the
Dyson Helpline.
SUMMARY OF COVER
• The guarantee becomes effective from the date of purchase (or the date of delivery if this
is later).
• You must provide proof of (both the original and any subsequent) delivery/purchase
before any work can be carried out on your Dyson machine. Without this proof, any work
carried out will be chargeable. Keep your receipt or delivery note.
• All work will be carried out by Dyson or its authorised agents.
• Any parts which are replaced by Dyson will become the property of Dyson.
• The repair or replacement of your Dyson machine under guarantee will not extend the
period of guarantee.
• The guarantee provides benefits which are additional to and do not affect your statutory
rights as a consumer.

Die DysonLink App ermöglicht Ihnen die Steuerung,
Zeitplanung, Überwachung und individuelle Einstellung
Ihres Luftreinigers über Ihr Mobilgerät.
WLAN ist standardmäßig aktiviert. Um das WLAN zu
deaktivieren bzw. zu aktivieren, den Ein-/Aus-Schalter
5 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten.
Schließen Sie Ihr Gerät an die Netzstromver-
sorgung an und schalten Sie es ein.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Mobilgerät mit der
App kompatibel, eingeschaltet und mit einem
WLAN-Netzwerk verbunden ist und dass Sie
Bluetooth® aktiviert haben.
Wenn Sie die Dyson Link App noch nicht ins-
talliert haben, müssen Sie diese aus dem App
Store oder bei Google Play herunterladen.
Öffnen Sie die Dyson Link App und befolgen
Sie die Anweisungen zur Erstellung eines neu-
en Kontos, falls Sie noch kein Konto haben.
Befolgen Sie die Bildschirmanweisungen, um
Ihr Gerät mit der Dyson Link App zu koppeln.
Nutzen Sie nun die Dyson Link App zum
Überwachen von Geräteinformationen,
zum Steuern Ihres Geräts, zur Zeitplanung
der Nutzung sowie zum Durchführen von
System-Aktualisierungen.
Falls Sie beim Herunterladen der Dyson Link
App oder beim Koppeln Ihres Geräts auf
Probleme stoßen, vergewissern Sie sich zu-
nächst, dass Sie mit einem WLAN-Netzwerk
verbunden sind und Bluetooth® auf Ihrem

ACHTUNG
GERÄT UND FERNBEDIENUNG ENTHALTEN
MAGNETE.
1. Herzschrittmacher und Defibrillatoren können
durch starke Magnetfelder beeinträchtigt
werden. Wenn Sie oder jemand anderes in
Ihrem Haushalt einen Herzschrittmacher oder
Defibrillator besitzt, dann vermeiden Sie es, die
Fernbedienung in einer Hosentasche oder in
der Nähe eines solchen Geräts aufzubewahren.
2. Kreditkarten und elektronische Speichermedien
können durch Magnete beschädigt werden
und sollten von der Fernbedienung und der
Oberseite des Geräts ferngehalten werden.
VERMEIDUNG DER GEFAHR VON FEUER,
STROMSCHLÄGEN ODER VERLETZUNGEN:
3. Einige Teile dieses Geräts können sehr heiß
werden und Verbrennungen verursachen.
Besondere Vorsicht gilt in Gegenwart von

4. Dieses Dyson Gerät kann von Kindern ab
8 Jahren und Personen mit eingeschränkten
physischen, sensorischen oder motorischen
Fähigkeiten bzw. von unerfahrenen und

Hinblick auf die sichere Nutzung des Geräts

Steckers mit nassen Händen berühren.
14. Halten Sie das Gerät fern von brennbaren
Flüssigkeiten, Dampfdruckgeräten,
Lufterfrischern und ätherischen Ölen.
15. Netzkabel immer direkt in die Wandsteckdose
stecken. Niemals Verlängerungskabel
zwischenschalten. Zu hoher Stromfluss kann
Überhitzung und einen Brand verursachen.
16. Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nicht, wenn es
beschädigt oder unter Wasser getaucht wurde.
17. Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nicht, wenn
es heruntergefallen ist oder sichtbare
Schäden aufweist.
18. Halten Sie dieses Gerät fern von beheizten
Flächen. Legen Sie das Kabel nicht unter Möbel
oder andere Geräte.
19. Führen Sie keine Gegenstände in die Öffnung
des Luftrings ein, da dies zu einem Stromschlag
führen kann.
20. Tragen Sie dieses Gerät stets am Griff und nicht
am Luftring.
21. Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät immer auf einer
horizontalen und stabilen Fläche.
22. Falls zwischen Stecker und Steckdose etwas
Spiel ist, oder der Stecker sehr heiß wird, muss
die Steckdose möglicherweise ausgetauscht
werden. Die Steckdose von einem qualifizierten
Elektriker austauschen lassen.
23. Verätzungs- und Verschluckungsgefahr.
Batterien von Kindern fernhalten. Dieses
Produkt enthält eine Lithium-Knopfzellen-
Batterie. Wenn eine neue oder gebrauchte
Lithium-Knopfzellen-Batterie verschluckt wird
oder in den Körper gelangt, kann dies schwere

innere Verätzungen verursachen und binnen
2 Stunden zum Tod führen. Das Batteriefach
muss daher stets sicher verschlossen sein. Falls
sich das Batteriefach nicht sicher verschließen
lässt, das Produkt nicht mehr verwenden, die
Batterien entfernen und von Kindern fernhalten.
Falls der Verdacht besteht, dass Batterien
verschluckt wurden oder in den Körper gelangt
sind, ist sofort ärztliche Hilfe einzuholen.

Das Gerät mit beiden

Sockel anfassen.

Standardmäßig ist die
kontinuierliche Überwachung
deaktiviert. Wenn die
kontinuierliche Überwachung
aktiviert wurde, ist sie stets aktiv.
So aktivieren/deaktivieren Sie die
kontinuierliche Überwachung:

Taste auf der Fernbedienung
5 Sekunden lang gedrückt, um
die Funktion zu aktivieren. Das
LCD-Display zeigt an, ob die

dazu führt, dass die Luftqualität
schlechter wird, wird das
entsprechende Symbol am LCD-
Display angezeigt.

Überwachung der aktuellen

Überwacht die Luftqualität in
einem Diagramm, das in einem
Intervall von 15 Minuten aktualisiert
wird, mit den Daten der letzten

Feinstaub (PM 2.5)
Diese mikroskopisch kleinen
Partikel mit einer Größe von bis
zu 2,5Mikron schweben in der
Luft, die wir atmen. Zu dieser
Kategorie zählen Rauch, Bakterien
und Allergene.
Stickstoffdioxid und andere
oxidierende Gase
Diese potenziell schädlichen
Gase werden durch Verbrennung
in die Luft abgegeben, wie
etwa das verbrennende Gas
beim Kochen oder Emissionen
von Kraftfahrzeugen.
Flüchtige organische
Verbindungen (VOC)
Bei den VOC handelt es sich
üblicherweise um potenziell
schädliche Gerüche. Diese
finden sich beispielsweise in
Reinigungsprodukten, Farben und
neuen Möbeln.
Innentemperatur
Die Überwachung der
Raumtemperatur ermöglicht
die Aufrechterhaltung einer
angenehmen Umgebung.

Filter
Zeigt die Restlebensdauer jeder
Filtereinheit an. Wenn eine
Filtereinheit ausgetauscht werden
muss, erinnert das Display daran.
Raumluftfeuchtigkeit
Die in der Luft enthaltene
Wasserdampfmenge wird
als Anteil der maximalen
Luftfeuchtigkeit bei der aktuellen
Temperatur angezeigt.
Feinstaub (PM 10)
Diese mikroskopisch kleinen
Partikel mit einer Größe von bis zu
10Mikron schweben in der Luft,
die wir atmen. Zu dieser Kategorie
zählen Staub, Schimmelpilze
und Pollen.

Stellen Sie Ihr Gerät auf
Automatikmodus, damit
die integrierten Sensoren
die Geräteeinstellungen
entsprechend der Luftqualität
intelligent anpassen.
Luftqualität: Ihr Gerät pausiert,
wenn die gewünschte Luftqualität
erreicht wurde, und schaltet sich
wieder ein, wenn die Luftqualität
schlechter wird.
Luftstromgeschwindigkeit:
Die Luftstromgeschwindigkeit
erhöht sich, bis die angestrebte
Luftqualität und die Temperatur
erreicht wurden.
Nachtmodus: Ihr Gerät läuft nur mit
den Luftstromgeschwindigkeiten
von 1 bis 4.
Heizfunktion
Drücken Sie die Taste,
um die gewünschte
Zimmertemperatur einzustellen.
Ihr Gerät pausiert, wenn
die eingestellte Temperatur

Luftstrom
Durch Drücken der
Taste zur Einstellung der
Luftstromgeschwindigkeit lässt
sich die Luftstromgeschwindigkeit
erhöhen oder verringern.
Drücken Sie die Taste für die
Luftstromrichtung, um die Richtung
des Luftstroms umzukehren.
Ihr Gerät reinigt weiter in
beiden Einstellungen.
Der Heizmodus funktioniert nur,
wenn die Luftstromrichtung auf
vorwärts eingestellt ist. Wenn der
Luftstrom auf rückwärts eingestellt
wird, wechselt Ihr Gerät in
den Ventilatormodus.
Drücken Sie die Drehbewegungs-
Taste, um die Luft im Raum
zirkulieren zu lassen, und blättern
Sie durch die Optionen von 0° bis
350°.
Mit der Dyson Link App können die
Einstellungen zur Drehbewegung
