WARNING!
Electric shock hazard!
Faulty electrical installation or mains voltage that is too high may lead
to electric shock.
− Only connect the double electric blanket, if the mains voltage
of the socket matches the specification on the rating plate of
the control unit.
− Only connect the double electric blanket to an easily accessible
socket, so that you can disconnect the double electric blanket
from the power supply quickly in case of a malfunction.
− Do not operate the double electric blanket, if it shows visible
damage or the cables/plugs are defective or if the double
electric blanket is damp.
− If the power cable of this appliance should be damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service or
a similarly qualified person, in order to avoid hazards.
− Do not open the housing of the control unit, leave the repair
to specialists, in order to avoid hazards. For this, please
contact a specialist workshop. Liability and guarantee claims
are excluded for repairs that are carried out independently,
improper connection or incorrect operation.
− This double electric blanket may be operated with an external
time switch or separate remote-control system.

Safety
10
− Only use the supplied control unit for connecting the double
electric blanket. Use type GT-HUB-02.
− Remove the power plug from the socket.
- if you are not using the heating function,
- after each use,
- before cleaning or putting the double electric blanket away,
- if a malfunction occurs during operation,
- in a thunder storm.
− Never pull the power plug out of the socket using the power
cable, always hold the power plug.
− Keep the double electric blanket, the plug and the cable away
from open flame and hot surfaces.
− Do not kink the cable or place it over sharp edges.
− Ensure that children do not insert items into the double
electric blanket.
− The control unit and power cable must not be exposed to
moisture and not immersed in water or other liquids. Electric
shock hazard!
WARNING!
Hazards for children and persons with impaired physical,
sensory or mental capabilities (e.g. partially disabled, elderly
persons with impairment to their physical and mental

Safety
11
− The double electric blanket may not be used by young
children (3-8 years), unless the control unit has been pre-set
by a parent or supervisor and the child has been sufficiently
instructed about how to use the double electric blanket safely
using the control unit. Keep children young than eight years
old away from the double electric blanket and the control unit
with its cables.
− Children, who are younger than three years old may not use

Risk of health damage!
Long use at the highest level may lead to skin irritations or discomfort.
− Always only use the double electric blanket briefly at first and
not on the highest level. Check your skin before increasing
the output and period of use. For continuous use, select a low
heating level (1).
− Discontinue use of the double electric blanket at once, if you
find the heat to be unpleasant or painful.

− Prior to each use, check whether the heated lower section,
control unit and power cable show signs of wear or damage. If
such signs exist or the double electric blanket has been used
improperly, you must have it inspected by a specialist workshop
prior to using it again. In this case, contact the service address
stated on the guarantee card.

address stated on the guarantee card.
2. Check whether the delivery is complete (see Fig. A).
3. Remove the protective film from the control unit 1.
4. Remove all packaging materials.
Prepare double electric blanket
To create the various push-fittings, proceed in the described order.
1. Connect the control unit and double electric blanket using the plug (see Fig. B).
2. Place the double electric blanket flat onto the mattress (see Fig. C, Step a).
The control unit should hang out of the bed in the shoulder area, so that it is not
covered up.
Make sure that the double electric blanket is not lying underneath the pillow.
Place it from the shoulder area to the foot area.
3. Attach the double electric blanket to the mattress using the cords.

Use
14
Use
What you need to know
The double electric blanket has two different heating zones:
• Upper body
• Calf/foot area
• Upper body and calf/foot area together
For a long-term use, select the lowest heat level.
There are three different heating levels for each heating zone:
Upper body
Level 1: approx. 35 °C
Level 2: approx. 45 °C
Level 3: approx. 55 °C
Calf/foot area
Level 1: approx. 40 °C
Level 2: approx. 50 °C
Level 3: approx. 60 °C
All functions and settings are accessed using the control unit.
During initial use, unusual odours may occur. These are harmless or reduce over
time.
Use of control unit
• The right row of LEDs is the heating function for the
upper body.
• The left row of LEDs is the heating function for the
calf/foot area.
• If both rows of LEDs light up, the heating functions
for the upper body and calf/foot area are active.
• The number of illuminated LEDs shows the
selected heating level (seen from the bottom):
1 LED = approx. 35 °C or approx. 40 °C,
2 LED = approx. 45 °C or approx. 50 °C
3 LED = approx. 55 °C or approx. 60 °C.

Use
15
Switch on
− Press the ON/OFF button 6 to switch on the double electric blanket.
Both of the bottom lamps light up. The heating function for the upper body and
the calf/foot area is switched on at the lowest level (default setting).
Select heat level and heating zones
Functional principle
When pressing with the TEMP 5 button, the following applies:
• briefly pressed: Select temperature
• pressed for a long time (approx. 4 seconds): Select heating zones/confirm
selection
• The left LEDs flash, if the upper heating zone is selected by pressing TEMP for a
long time. If no button is pressed, the left LEDs start to flash approx. 9 seconds
later. Only the right LEDs are active for adjustment by default.
After switching on
− By pressing TEMP repeatedly, select the heating level for the upper body.
The LEDs indicate which heating level you have currently set.
− If you keep TEMP pressed for several seconds, instead of briefly pressing it, the
left bottom LED flashes.
− By pressing TEMP repeatedly, you can now set the temperature for the calf/foot
area.
− If you keep the TEMP button pressed for a long time, the control unit switches to
the adjustment option for the right LEDs. You can select this by briefly pressing
the TEMP button.
− If you have set the left heating level (flashing LEDs) and wait briefly (9x flashes),
the setting is stored for the calf/foot area. Then, you can adjust the temperature
range for the upper part of the body, as standard.
Switching off
1. Press the ON/OFF button 6 to switch off blanket. at a specific time.
2. Pull out the power cable in order to completely disconnect the double electric
blanket from the power supply.
The blanket switches itself off automatically after 3 hours. If you do
not want the double electric blanket to switch back on, remove the
power plug from the socket.
