RECEIVING YOUR NEW PTAC CLEANING
CRADLE: When your package is delivered, check
the carton carefully for signs of rough handling. If your
CRADLE is damaged, notify the carrier immediately and
request an inspection. Be sure to keep the carton, packing
inserts, packing lists and carrier’s receipt until the inspec-
tor has veried your claim.
EDIC’s liability ceases when the carrier picks up the ship-
ment. However, our customer service sta will be happy
to furnish any information needed in connection with
the claim and will attempt to expedite a resolution.

NEW CRADLE:
Read the manual carefully and completely before at-
tempting to operate the unit. is manual has important
information for the use and safe operation of the ma-
chine. Keep this manual handy at all times.

that your equipment will continue to perform as intend-
ed:
• Maintain equipment regularly- following the suggest-
ed maintenance schedule provided.

WARNING!
• PTAC units must be unplugged before being placed
into the CRADLE
• e machine was designed for cleaning PTAC units
as per instructions and recommendations written
in this manual. Any deviation from its proper use
or purpose and the consequential damage that may
occur is the sole responsibility of the end user.
• Always read and understand your chemical’s MSDS
(Material Safety Data Sheet) before use.
• the CRADLE and the PTAC unit are heavy. Use prop-
er liing techniques to accomodate equipment. ask
for assistance if something is too heavy.
• Pay attention to your ngers and body parts when
sliding the PTAC into the cradle and back into the
wall sleeve.
• is equipment is not designed to handle or use
combustible/volatile substances such as gasoline or
kerosene, in, on, or near the machine. e use of such
materials will cause extreme hazardous condition.
• is is not a toy. Do not allow children or pets in, on,
or near this equipment.
• Use appropriate PPE including eye protection, a
breathing mask is suggested.

STEP 1.
Gather Hardware A, B, and C and attach the jack uprights to the
base. Make sure that the mounting brackets on the jacks face each
other.

Place the cradle inbetween the jack uprights and use Hardware D to
secure the cradle to the jacks.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unplug the PTAC power cord from the wall outlet and position it where it
will remain dry.
2. Remove the front panel that covers the front of the entire PTAC unit.
3. Place a Shower cap over the switch panel to protect electronics.
4. Remove the 4 screws that secure the PTAC to the wall mounted sleeve

5. Move furniture as needed so you can easily maneuver the PTAC CRADLE.
6. Position the cradle about 2” in front of the PTAC wall sleeve.
7. Pivot the front of the cradle up by releasing the pins on the sides of the
Jack uprights. Lock into place with the pins.
8. Turn the jack handle cranks so that the front touches the bottom of the
ptac. Do not let the jacks lift or put upward force on the ptac. Only a bare
minimum of contact is necessary. Since the jacks lift independently of each
other, make sure your cradle is level.
9. Make sure sliding barn doors are shut.
10. Take hold of top of PTAC and slide into cradle rmly
11. Using your 2 gallon chemical sprayer with pre mixed chemical, spray the
rear condenser, pan, front evaporator core, heating element, side lter and
any part of the fan that is accessible. Do not spray the switch panel.
12. Slide left barn door open. Attach your GALAXY PTAC MACHINE vacuum
hose to the left side of the PTAC pan and close barn door.
13. Using the jacks, lower the side of the CRADLE with the vacuum hose. This
will direct the ow of the water toward the hose. You can also adjust the
front/back tilt function, as needed.
14. Using the GALAXY machine’s solution hose and spray wand, rinse all the
components that were previously sprayed from the top down. Using the
sprayer’s stream, direct dirt and debris toward the vacuum hose intake.
15. Vacuum up any residual moisture on the PTAC pan

16. If needed, push the cradle to the side and clean the wall mounted
sleeve. Use the galaxy wand to spray pressurized liquid into the condensa-
tion drain pipe. This can prevent future clogs.
17. Place pan treatment tablets in pan and on fornt evaporator core.
18. Raise or lower the cradle so that the PTAC is at the appropriate level to
be easily inserted.
19. In one swift motion, push the PTAC unit back into the sleeve with hands
on top of PTAC.
20. If needed, place the outer front cover into CRADLE and spray it down.
21. Reinstall the front cover.
22. Plug in power cord and test.
23. Vacuum up excess liquid and debris in the cradle.

EDIC REPLACEMENT PARTS LIMITED WARRANTY PLAN
All parts sold as replacement parts for out-of-warranty EDIC products have the following Limited Warranty,
with no warranty on labor: 30 DAYS
Your product is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the period set forth above,
after the date of delivery to the retail purchaser, when operated in normal service and used in accordance
with the operating and maintenance instructions in the Owner’s Manual. This warranty is limited to and
provides at no cost to the retail purchaser repair or replacement of parts determined to be defective, at EDIC’s
option, and labor, if provided for above, to replace or repair the parts (“service labor”) according to EDIC’s
Standard Rates, during the warranty period set forth above. This warranty excludes transportation charges
unless authorized in writing by EDIC. No warranty returns for refund or credit will be permitted. In the event of
a defect, these are your exclusive remedies. Warranty claims must be made in writing to EDIC prior to
returning the product and no products will be accepted for repair or replacement without prior authorization
by EDIC. Use of parts not approved by EDIC in EDIC products will void this warranty. Warranty repair or
replacement shall not extend the original warranty period of the product, and replacement parts used for in-
warranty repairs will only be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty and not from their
installation date. Any parts or products replaced under this Limited Warranty will become the property of
EDIC.
