In order to use this product’s horizontal scrolling and button
allocation functions, you must install ELECOM MouseAssistant 2.
ELECOM MouseAssistant 2 is a software that helps you use the mouse
more eectively.
ELECOM MouseAssistant 2 lets you configure settings for special
buttons and functions to suit your preferences.
Features of ELECOM MouseAssistant 2
1. Assign functions to mouse buttons and tilt wheel
Functions can be assigned not only to buttons but also to the tilt
wheel. If you seldom perform horizontal scrolling using the tilt
wheel, you can assign other functions to the wheel. You can assign
up to three combined keys to mouse buttons or the tilt wheel. This
enables the assignment of shortcut keys which vary according to the
application.
2. Automatic profile switching
You can save the profile of assigned functions used for each
application program. When using each application program,
the profile is switched automatically. For example, the profile for
Microsoft Word is assigned when you use Microsoft Word, and the
prole for Microsoft Excel when you use Microsoft Excel.
3. Flying scroll
When you want to scroll vertically through a long list of data in
Microsoft Excel or a PDF document, it is a bother to rotate the wheel
many times. The ying scroll function makes data scrolling automatic,
which is very convenient.
4. Gesture function
You can assign functions for various mouse movements. A “gesture”
can be created by combining up, down, right and left mouse
movements. Each gesture can comprise a series of up to four mouse
movements, meaning you can create and use up to about 160
gestures. You can also register gestures for each prole, increasing
the number of combinations even further.
