as to be higher than the MAX level of each
tray.
2. Place each tray on to the unit. Make sure
they are properly stacked.
3. Put the upper lid onto the appliance. The
lid should never be removed during the
drying process. Make sure there are no
gaps, from over-lled trays or haphazard
tray placement.
4. Plug the appliance into a suitable power
socket and press the power button, the
dehydrator will begin to operate. The

Mushrooms 50-55 ˚C
Vegetables 50-55 ˚C
Fruit 50-60 ˚C
Meat, Fish 65-70 ˚C
Hints And Tips:
• Wash any food/produce and then dry it
before adding it to the dehydrator.
• Make sure there is no water in any of the
trays, or the unit.
• Cut away any spoiled areas of the
produce.
• Slice the produce, if required, to ensure
an even spread.
• The duration of the drying placement
will be aected by the thickness of the
produce.
• Some fruit will have a protective skin that
will aect the drying process, increasing
the time it takes to process it. To mitigate
this, boil the fruit for 1-2 minutes,
afterwards add to cold water, and then
rub dry with a cloth.
Drying Fruit:
• Wash the fruit, and then dry by rubbing
with a cloth. Excess water will prolong the
drying process vastly.
• Remove the pit from fruit and large seeds

• Slice the fruit to reduce the drying time.
Drying Vegetables:
• Wash the vegetables.
• Take out the pits and cut o any spoiled
parts.
• Slice the vegetables into pieces.

place in cold water then rub dry.

• Store the dried fruit in containers that are
clean and dry.
• For better storage, place the dried fruit

during the rst week of drying. If there is
moisture, dry the fruit again.
• Do not put hot and/or warm food into the
containers for further storage. Wait until
the food cools down.
Note: The duration of all drying
temperatures stated in these instructions
are approximate. The duration will be
aected by the temperature and humidity
of the room, the thickness of the produce
of the amount of air able to circulate about
them.
