WIRING SAFETY FOR UK USE ONLY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the
mains lead of this
appliance may not
correspond with the
coloured markings
identifying the terminals
in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and
must be connected to the terminal
marked [N] or coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live wire
and must be connected to the terminal
marked [L] or coloured red.
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is
fastened correctly.
The plug must be fitted with a fuse of the
same rating already fitted and conforming
to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician
who will be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable
plug fitted to the mains lead and should the fuse
need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved
one (conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician
who will be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it
from the mains - and then cut it off the mains lead
and immediately dispose of its safely. Never
attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket
outlet as there is a danger of an electric shock.

This appliance is double insulated. Do not connect any wire to the earth terminal.

cord as this may damage the

•Do not use this product for
anything other than its
intended use.
•This appliance is for
household use only.
•Do not carry the appliance
by the power cord.
•Do not use the
appliance outdoors.

•The unit must only be used
for 3 minutes at a time.
•Never place the cutter
on the motor base
without the container.
•Make sure that the lid
clamps are properly in
place while using.
•Do not leave out any
parts during assembly.
•Do not use the appliance
for longer than 3 minutes at
a time, and let it cool off for
at least four minutes before
using it again.
•The motor base should
never be immersed in
water or any other liquid.
•Never use caustic or
abrasive cleaning agents.
•This product contains
moving parts please ensure
that all clothes and hair are
kept clear of moving parts.
•This appliance motor unit has
no user serviceable parts.
•Always switch off at the motor
unit and the wall socket before
removing the plug.
•In the unlikely event the
appliance develops a fault,
stop using it immediately
and seek advice from the
service department.

BEFORE FIRST USE:
1. Remove the parts from the packaging.
2. Wash all surfaces that will come into contact with food in warm
soapy water, rinse and dry with a dish towel.
3. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.

ASSEMBLY
This product is fitted with a safety switch therefore the correct assembly of the product
is important as incorrect assembly will not allow the motor to function.
1. Ensuring that the base is firmly sitting on
the work top, place the main container on
to the base (Fig. 1.). Ensure the word
“REAR” (which is stamped on the
container) is placed on the opposite side
of the base to the On/Off switch.
2. With the container correctly seated on the
motor base the actuator retaining channel
will be aligned with the safety switch.

3. Place the actuator in the channel with
the smaller end leading, ensuring that
the double groves are to the outside
on the container (Fig. 2.).
4. Place the peeler or the salad
spinner on the motor unit.
5. Insert the plug into the wall socket
and switch on at the wall socket.
6. Then switch on at the unit.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
Potato Peeler:
1. Place the Potato Peeler into the
main container.
2. When peeling, fill the container
with approximately 400ml of
water, and then add the potatoes.
3. Place and lock the lid and hold in place.
4. Plug the Potato Peeler & Salad
Spinner in at the wall and turn on
using the On/Off switch.
Note: You may need to hold the top of
the unit while peeling potatoes to stop
the safety switch disconnecting.
Salad Spinner:
1. Place the Salad Spinner into the
main container.
2. Wash the salad and place it into the
Salad Spinner.
3. Close and lock the lid.
4. Plug the Potato Peeler & Salad
Spinner in at the wall and turn on
using the On/Off switch.

CLEANING AND CARE
It is important that you follow the cleaning
instructions soon after use to prevent
build up of food on the appliance.
•Before cleaning ensure that the
motor unit is switched off and that
the wall socket is in the off position.
•We would recommend hand
washing of the attachments.
•The motor unit can be wiped down with
a soft damp cloth and a little detergent
for greasy or stubborn stains.
•Ensure that the attachments are
dried before storing.
STORAGE
•When the appliance is not in use,
disconnect from the mains supply
and store in a safe, dry place, out
of reach of children.
