WIRING SAFETY FOR UK USE ONLY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the
mains lead of this
appliance may not
correspond with the
coloured markings
identifying the terminals
in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Green/Yellow [EARTH]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and must
be connected to the terminal marked [N] or
coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live wire and
must be connected to the terminal marked [L] or
coloured red.
The wire coloured green/yellow must be
connected to the terminal marked with the letter
[E] or marked .
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same
rating already tted and conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug tted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an
ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of
the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug – disconnect
it from the mains – and then cut it o of the
mains lead and immediately dispose of it in a
safe manner. Never attempt to reuse the plug or
insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger
of an electric shock.

• The lid and body can become
extremely hot during operation
therefore use oven gloves where
possible when removing the
cover to avoid burns.

the non-stick coating or the pan
may be damaged with the high
temperatures produced.
• In the unlikely event the
appliance develops a fault,
stop using it immediately and
seek advice from the service

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
1. Remove your appliance from the packaging.
2. Assemble the lid as per instructions.
3. Before using the appliance for the rst time, carefully clean the pan and lid.
4. Do not use any aggressive detergents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles or sharp objects
such as knives or spatulas for cleaning the unit.
5. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
Lid Assembly:
Assemble your lid as per the diagram below:
When tightening the screw, be careful not to
over-tighten as this may crack the glass lid.

Before connecting the power supply:
1. Clean the inner and outer surface of
the appliance with dry cloth before use,
especially the plug and the cool touch
handles to avoid electricity shock.
2. Insert the temperature regulator to the
appliance body; make sure it is fully
connected otherwise the temperature
rise will be aected, and the temperature
regulator will be damaged because of
overheating.
3. Turn the regulator dial counter-clockwise
to the o position before connecting the
power.
4. Connect the power supply, turn the
regulator dial clockwise, and the indicator
lamp will illuminate.
5. You can adjust the temperature according
to your needs during cooking.
6. Turn the regulator dial clockwise to turn
the heat from OFF to maximum.
7. Turn the regulator dial counter-clockwise,
and heat will go from Maximum to the
OFF.
CAUTION: Do not cover the appliance with the
lid when heating up the cooking oil.
Preparing foods:
• Brush the pan with a little cooking oil.
• Set the temperature regulator to the
required heat level.
• The control lamp will light up to signal that
the unit is ready for use (ON).

• The control lamp will light up to signal that
the unit is ready for use (ON).
• It takes 5-10 minutes after the unit is
switched on before the control lamp goes
out. You can then start cooking the food.
• Once cooking is complete, the unit
can be kept warm. To do this, set the
temperature regulator to the thermostat
level to setting 1.

Using the glass lid
• Use the glass lid where possible when
cooking all food types.
• The glass lid prevents smells from
escaping and reduces cooking time.
Note:
The glass lid has a vent through which
hot steam can escape!
Avoid contact with this escaping steam.
The glass lid can become extremely hot during
operation therefore use oven gloves where
possible when removing the glass lid to avoid
burns.
After use:
• Set the temperature regulator to the 0
level and pull the plug out of the mains
socket!
CLEANING AND CARE
• The Electric Frying Pan is NOT dishwasher
safe.
• Remove the plug from the mains supply
and allow the Electric Frying Pan to cool
down before cleaning.
• Wipe the frying surface with a clean paper
towel.
• If the Electric Frying Pan has baked on
food you may need to use a damp paper
towel with washing up liquid taking care
not to get water onto the power inlet of
the Electric Frying Pan
• The exterior of the appliance should be
cleaned, if necessary, with a slightly damp
cloth without detergents.
• To clean the glass lid immerse in warm
soapy water.
• Do Not immerse the temperature regulator
unit in any liquid.
• Do not use any aggressive detergents,
brushes with metal or nylon bristles or
sharp objects such as knives or spatulas
for cleaning the Electric Frying Pan.
• Always dry the Electric Frying Pan and
glass lid thoroughly after cleaning.
• Store your Electric Frying Pan after it has
been cleaned in a safe, dry place, out of
reach of children.
WARNING:
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY ELECTRICAL PART
OF THE APPLIANCE IN WATER SUCH AS
MOTOR UNITS OR PLUGS.
