2INTRODUCTION
2.1 General Description
The “EWHT1800LX” controller in the new Coldface series is a device for applications with double compartment cells which
provides control of both temperature and relative humidity.
It is suited to the control of commercial and industrial cold cells and, thanks to the wide number of outputs available,
provides control of all associated functions, including lights, alarms, and condensation fans., ventilation fans, stratification
fans, humidification/dehumidification and heating.
The curing/ageing/storing cycle consists of 1 program with 8 climate profiles; completely configurable by the user, the
combined control of temperature and relative humidity as well as defrosting makes Coldface the best electronic solution
for curing and keeping all food and consumable products.
The graphic interface features a backlit LCD display.
Menus are user-friendly and parameters can be easily viewed thanks to the large surface area of the display itself.
The Datalogger function, standard on the device, , logs, keeps and stores all temperatures and alarms,
thus ensuring quality and reliability of the products, with special reference to HACCP standards.
The HACCP function sets, maintains and memorises temperature measurements and any associated alarms, ensuring the
quality and hygiene of stored products.
The product is equipped with an optional RS-485 serial port, which enables connection to TelevisSystem and ModBUS
without the need for external accessories.
The 95 to 240V~ switching power supply ensures usability in any application.

3USER INTERFACE
The front panel of the device functions as user interface and is used to perform all operations relating to the device.
3.1 Keys
There are 8 (4+4) keys on the front panel. Each key has (see the two tables below)

3.2 STANDBY / OFF
Definition: Standby and OFF are considered to be synonyms. For example, device OFF (= device is in standby)

•1157: H08= ONLY DISPLAY: the display reads “OFF”, and all regulators are locked

The standby regulator can also be activated via digital input, when so configured.

‘Main Menu’ refers to the contents of the default display, i.e. when keys are not used.
When the device is not in use, the display is in screensaver mode (see Display)

The EWHT1800’s main display can be customized to suit personal requirements.

change the value of Setpoint SRH from 29%RH to 20%RH.

Press SET again to confirm and move on to setting the month in the same way as above.
The other values are set in the same way.
