1.0 (NL) Introductie
Deze installatie handleiding zal je helpen de firmware van de EM7680 te installeren
via OTA. Dit betekent dat je via het internet de laatste nieuwe update voor je EM7680
kunt installeren. Na de OTA firmware update zullen je aanpassingen en instellingen in
Kodi ongewijzigd blijven. Volg de aangegeven stappen nauwgezet om de firmware
correct te installeren.
2.0 (NL) Firmware installeren
Het is van belang dat je voor deze methode een goed werkende internet
verbinding hebt en de streamer is aangesloten op je thuisnetwerk.
1. Zet de EM7680 aan en wacht totdat Kodi volledig is opgestart.
2. Eenmaal in het beginscherm van Kodi zul je aan de rechter bovenzijde van het
beeld de volgende melding zien: “Update available”. Dit betekent dat de streamer
kan worden geüpdatet naar de laatste nieuwe versie.
3. Navigeer met de pijltjestoetsen van je afstandsbediening naar “System” –
“LibreELEC”en druk op de OK knop van je afstandsbediening. Verander het
update kanaal naar 9.
4. Navigeer met de pijltjestoetsen naar “Available versions” en klik op de “OK”
knop van je afstandsbediening.
5. De huidige versie word getoond en er word gevraagd of je wilt updaten naar de
laatste nieuwe firmware update. Om te starten selecteer “Yes”en klik op de “OK”
knop van je afstandsbediening.
6. De streamer zal de installatieprocedure zelf doorlopen. Onderbreek deze
procedure niet! De installatie zal ongeveer 10 minuten duren.
7. Zodra de installatieprocedure is voltooid, start de streamer opnieuw op, waarna
deze weer klaar is voor gebruik met de laatste nieuwe firmware versie.

Opmerking:
Mocht sommige DVD-ISO bestanden met een DVD menu niet afspelen dan adviseren
we een converteer programma aan zoals bijvoorbeeld MakeMKV zodat het bestand
geconverteerd kan worden naar MKV en dus wel afgespeeld kan worden.

1.0 (UK) Introduction
This installation manual will help you to update the firmware for EM7680 by OTA. This
means you will be able to download and install the latest firmware by online
connection. All changes you have made for Kodi, like settings and add-ons etc.. will
remain untouched after the OTA firmware upgrade. Follow the next steps to install the
latest firmware correctly.
2.0 (UK) Installing the firmware
For upgrading by OTA it is crucial to have a stable internet connection running and
that the streamer is connected to your own home network.
1. Switch the power switch to “ON” to boot the TV streamer.
2. Once Kodi has started you will see the following notification at the top right side of
the screen: “Update available”. This means that the streamer has found a new
update and can be updated to the latest firmware version.
3. Use the navigation buttons and go to “System” –“LibreELEC” and press the “OK”
button on your remote control. Go to update channel and change to channel 9.
4. Use the navigation buttons and go to “System” - “Available versions:” and press
the “OK”button on your remote control.
5. The current firmware version will be shown and it asks you if you want to upgrade
to the new version. To start the update process, select “Yes”and press the “OK”
button on your remote control.
6. The streamer will complete the installation procedure automatically. Do not
interrupt this procedure! The installation process will take about 10 minutes.

7. As soon as the streamer has completed the installation procedure, the streamer
will be rebooted. After rebooting your EM7680 is again ready for use.

Remark: There is a possibility that some DVD-ISO files including a DVD menu, will
not play. For these DVD-ISO files that will not play we advise a convert tool to convert
the DVD-ISO file to MKV, for example like MakeMKV. This way will the file be
converted to MKV and so can be played without any problems.
