The safety precautions and instructions that are described in this instruction manual cannot cover
all eventualities and unpredictable situations that occur. It must be understood that common
sense, general caution and care are factors that cannot be built into a pram. These factors are the
responsibility of the person that uses the pram.

It is important that everyone using the pram and its accessories understands the instructions. Inform
and demonstrate the pram to each person(s) that will be using it, even if that person is going to use
the vehicle for a short period of time.

If anything is unclear please contact your authorised Emmaljunga retailer who will be able to assist

Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference. Your child’s safety
may be affected if you do not follow these instructions.

WARNING! The seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months.
WARNING! This vehicle may not be used together with a lift!
WARNING! Never leave your child/children unattended!
WARNING! Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use!
WARNING! Use a harness as soon as your child can sit unaided.
WARNING! Any load attached to the handle can affect the stability of the vehicle.
WARNING! This product is not suitable for running, skating or use with roller blades.
WARNING! Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt on the harness.
WARNING! Check that the vehicle body or seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.

This vehicle is intended for children from 6 months and up to maximum weight of 20 kg.
•
Always remember to secure your child/children with the ve point safety harness.

Important safety information
•
Always remember to secure your child/children with the ve point safety harness(es).
•
This product is designed for a child that weighs max. 20 kg.
•
The seat unit is for a child in the age group of 6 months to 3 years.
•
The pram is for transportation use only. Never use the pram as a bed for your child.
•
Keep the pram out of reach of your child/children and never let them play in the vehicle or with the
vehicle.
•
Never leave the child unattended without engaging the braking system correctly.
•
The brake should always be engaged when you lift your child in and out of the vehicle.
•
Never park the vehicle on a hill.
•
Overloading - incorrectly folded chassis or use of non approved accessories could injure the child/
children or damage the vehicle.
•
Stairs and escalators should be avoided since they can be an added risk for your child.
•
Do not hang anything on the handle since it can affect the vehicle’s stability.
•
Do not place any objects on the hood.
•
The tray should not be loaded with more than 5kg. Always place heavier objects in the middle of the
tray. The vehicle could otherwise become unstable.
•
Make sure that no objects in the tray can be caught in the wheels’ spokes.
•
Always use spare parts supplied by one of Emmaljunga’s authorised retailers to avoid the risk of injury
to your child.
•
Follow the care and maintenance directions.

be clear of moving parts while making adjustments. This vehicle requires regular maintenance by

Assembling the vehicle
Assembling the chassis
•
Apply the brake. Unfold the chassis by pulling the handle
upwards whilst you hold down the side of the chassis. The safety
catch (1) is activated to prevent unintentional folding only if the
chassis lock (2) is not locked into position.
WARNING
•
The chassis locks need to click into the locked position.
•
Always check before you use the vehicle that the chassis lock (2)
is in the locked position, because the vehicle may otherwise be
dangerous to use.
Attaching the wheels
•
Remove the plastic protection from the axles. Save them for
future use.
•
Attach the wheels with the wheel cogs (3). Press in the hub cap’s
release button (4), push the wheel onto the axles as far as it can
go. Release the button and pull the wheel towards you, until
you hear a de nite click. Repeat the same procedure for all four
wheels. Please make sure that the wheels are attached properly
and cannot be pulled off the axle.
•
Release the brake by pushing the brake bar up towards you using
minimum force with your foot.
IMPORTANT
•
The wheels are greased and can leave marks on textiles. Please
use wheel protection indoors to protect your oors.
•
Risk of suffocation. Don’t let your child play with or in some
other way handle the
plastic protections.
Braking system on the vehicle/releasing the brake
•
Brake by pushing the brake bar down into the wheel cogs.
•
Release the brake by lifting it upwards.
WARNING
•
Never leave the child unattended without engaging the braking
system correctly.
•
The brake should always be engaged when you lift your child in
and out of the vehicle.
•
Never park the vehicle on a hill.
•
Ensure that the brake unit sits rmly in the wheel cogs.
•
The vehicle is equipped with cog brakes. Check that there
is
a wheel cog on each wheel and that it is rmly attached. Engage
the brake only when the vehicle has come to a standstill.
•
Assemble the tray by moving the catch which is on the underside
of the tray slide under the rear axle.
•
Then press the two ends into the holes on the chassis as indicated
by the arrows. Adjust accordingly so that it ts well.

Assembling the vehicle
•
Make sure that the seat fabric’s back pocket is attached correctly
onto the backrest frame. After making sure, attach the Velcro tape
on the inside of the back pocket (5).
•
Then pull up the zip fastener (6). This step is very IMPORTANT!
WARNING
•
Always make sure that the backrest is in a safe position before it
is used. This step is very IMPORTANT.
•
Press both fabric armrests into position (7) over both sides
of the seat unit. Two press studs on each side.
Assembly of the front bar
•
Place the front bar protection cover (8) over the front bar and
close the zip fastener.
•
Fasten the crotch strap (9) around the front bar.
•
Place the pocket on the footrest (10) over the footrest. Af x with
the press studs. The footrest pad is reversible. Af x the foot piece
on the seat fabric with the press studs that sit under the seat
fabric.
Assembly of the hood
•
Af x the hood clips (11) above the plastic stud (12) on the
handle.

How to use the vehicle
Unfolding the vehicle
You can unfold the vehicle in two ways:
•
Start by lowering the backrest forwards towards the front bar or
by lowering the backrest backwards. Then lower the chassis by
pulling the two chassis locks (one on each side of the vehicle)
upwards.
How to adjust the height of the handle
•
Adjust the height on the handle by pressing the grey buttons on
the inside of the handle (13).
Keep the buttons pressed in while you adjust to the required
position (14).
•
Lift up the safety catch (on the right hand side) and push the
handle forwards.
If the wheels are taken off, the vehicle will take up even less space
•
To make the vehicle more compact, remove the wheels by
pressing in the wheel hub’s release button and then pull off the
wheel.
IMPORTANT
•
Wipe off any dirt or grease from the axles before you replace the
wheels.
Adjusting the hood
•
Adjust the hood by gently pulling the front backwards and
forwards until it reaches the desired position. Adjust the height
of the hood (15) by pulling/pushing it carefully up or down
on the handle. Ensure that the hood clips are always above the
plastic stud, see picture 9.
IMPORTANT
•
Never lift the pram by holding onto the hood.
Adjusting the footrest
•
The footrest can be placed in two positions.
Position, down. Pull the footrest outwards away from the vehicle
and drop it downwards.
Position, up. Pull the footrest upwards, press it in towards the
vehicle and release.

How to use the vehicle
Adjusting the 5-point harness
•
Place the crotch strap (16) between the child’s legs and up
towards the waist. Place the waist strap (17) into the harness lock
until they click into place. Please check that the waist straps are
locked into position.
•
Adjust all the straps with the aid of the buckle (18).
•
You release the shoulder straps and the waist straps by pressing
in the buttons (19) on the harness lock.
WARNING
•
Always use the harness when the child is seated in the
vehicle. Make sure all harness parts are correctly attached.
Adjusting the backrest
•
The backrest adjusts to three positions.
•
Adjust the backrest by lifting up the top pipe on the backrest
(20). Lower/raise the backrest to the position desired.

General care and maintenance instructions
•
Never expose your vehicle to excessive sunlight for longer periods of time.
•
Always use a rain cover when snowing or raining.
•
Never store your vehicle in cold and/or damp places.
•
Should the chassis become wet, dry it off promptly. Make sure vehicle is completely dry before storing.
•
If the vehicle is used near the ocean or salted roads, spray the chassis with a hose and dry.
•
Always be careful with the chassis, especially when during transport or storage.
The surface of the
chassis is fragile.
Routine Inspection
•
Regularly clean the chassis and metal parts of the vehicle; dry off and lubricate all joints of the chassis.
Spokes, and fenders on all wheels, should frequently be washed with warm water and then wiped off
with a dry cloth. When the pram is used during the winter time, cleaning of the pram should be done
at least once a week. Lack of maintenance could cause corrosion. Should corrosion on the surface
occur, which is a possibility, you are required to remove this with a corrosion cleaning agent.
•
It is recommended to lubricate the wheel axles every three months (clean axles with a cloth prior to
lubrication). Axles may be lubricated with petroleum jelly or automobile oil.
Check that:
•
all chassis locking devices are functioning properly.
•
all rivets, nuts and bolts are rmly tightened and not broken.
•
all plastic parts are not cracked or broken.
•
the wheel bearings are in a good condition.
•
all Velcro fasteners are securely fastened.
•
all press-studs are securely fastened on the footrest ap.
•
all elastic straps are in a good condition.
•
the secondary locking mechanism is intact and can move freely.
•
the brake works.

•
Always get in touch with the retailer you purchased your vehicle from. Especially when your vehicle
requires a service with original Emmaljunga parts or in case of technical matters that require a
professional evaluation.

Care and maintenance
Washing instructions
•
Hood:
Take off and extend the hood. Spray the hood with lukewarm water. Use a mild liquid soap. Cleanse
thoroughly. Drip dry the hood, fully extended.
•
Fabric and 5-point harness:
Remove the fabric from the chassis. Hand wash fabric in lukewarm water. Use a mild liquid soap.
Cleanse thoroughly. Drip dry the fabric. Only wipe the 5-point nylon harness and plastic parts clean
with a damp cloth. Do not hand wash. Make sure the harness is dry before re tting.
•
Front bar and front bar protection cover:
Remove the cover from the front bar. Hand wash in lukewarm water. Use mild liquid soap as detergent
on the surface of the exterior fabric on the front bar. Handle non-woven interior material with care.
Drip-dry.
General Information
•
Ironing: If any fabric part needs to be ironed, always use a 100 % cotton cloth in between the iron
and the fabric to protect the fabric surface. Iron the exterior fabrics (100 %) polyester and the interior
fabrics (65 % cotton/35 % polyester) on a gentle heat (110°C on the iron).
•
Make sure all parts are completely dry before reassembly. Check the trimmings and the seam on
underside of the seat-fabric and on the backrest pocket.
•
You may apply a material protector (like Scotchgard™) on the exterior fabric after washing. Always
apply before reassembly.
WARNING
• Do not place child/children in stroller for at least 24 hours after applying a material protector.
Reassembly after washing
WARNING
•
Make sure all parts are reassembled correctly according to the instructions in this manual.
•
Make sure the seat-board and the footrest-board are correctly positioned before reassembly and use.
