Installation instructions
CAUTION: The camera’s base should be attached to a structural
object, such as concrete, hard wood, wall stud or ceiling rafter
that supports the weight of the camera. If necessary use appro-
priate mounting material (e.g. anchors) instead of the material
enclosed with the camera.
1. Drill three holes for mounting on the ceiling or wall.

3. Route the power/video cable to the connecting place.
4. Place the dome base assembly to the Easy Adaptor.
5. Adjust the camera’s viewing angle (Pan, Tilt, Rotation)
6. Assemble the dome cover to the dome base unit.

Detach the dome camera from the Easy Adaptor
Push the hook on the dome base and swing the dome base to counterclock wise. Then
detach the dome camera from the installed Easy Adaptor.

Open the dome cover
Put the driver in the dome cover gap and get down until the dome cover open.
Pan & Tilt adjustments
1. Pan limit: Pan is limited to +/- 175°. Do NOT force to rotate the gimbal over the
limit to prevent from the internal damage.
2. Tilt limit: Tilt is limited to 25° min ~ 90° max. with reference to the ceiling when
the inclination of camera module is 0°, that is, the image is aligned horizontally.
3. Inclination limit (Horizontal image alignment): Inclination limited to +/- 175° max.

Use the focus driver supplied.
• Turn the Focus gear until the sharpest focus is made.
• Adjust the zoom for the proper viewing angle.

CAUTION:
Extreme care should be taken NOT to scratch the bubble dome
surface while the camera installing or adjusting.
Extreme care should be taken NOT to apply force to IR LEDs.
Care should be taken the cable is NOT to be damaged, kinked or
exposed in the hazardous area.
Do not expose the camera directly to a strong light source such
as the sun or spot light..
Power supply connections
Camera can be operated with the regulated or unregulated 12VDC but the regulated
power supply of 12VDC is recommended. Camera is protected from the damage by the
reverse connection of polarity..
iIn case that HD-SDI/EX-SDI Inputs are not supported in monitor, please use HD-SDI/
EX-SDI Converter to connect HD-SDI/EX-SDI cable with monitor. Some computer moni-
tors or TVs may not support 30p/25p. In this case, HD-SDI/EX-SDI DVR which can convert
the frame rate to 60p/50p is highly recommended. Please check specication of monitor
before installation.

Operating instructions
Using OSD controller
Setup menu can be accessed and controlled by OSD control joy stick on the gimbal of
camera unit. Five commands are available with the joy stick.
CAUTION: Extreme care should be taken NOT to apply force to
the IR LEDs.
Description of the joystick operation
1. SET Key (●) : Access to the menu or enter the setting. To enter the main menu,
press the Set Key down for about 1.5sec
2. UP/DOWN Key (▲/▼) : Choose the desired sub-menu and to move the cursor up or
down.
3. LEFT/RIGHT Key (◄/►) : Set up the value of the selected menu. Used to adjust the
desired menu selection and to move the cursor left or right.
4. ‘☟’ denotes the long press down straightly for about 2 seconds
Description of the D-ZOOM adjustment
iWorks only when OSD Menu is inactive. Set to pointing zoom ON for D-Zoom
control.

To select the camera’s output video format (EX-SDI or HD-SDI), use the Video format
Switch on the side of the camera (see also“Part names” for location of the switch). Only
the switch setting.

Set the video format according to system, EX-SDI or HD-SDI
To select the camera’s output video format (EX-SDI or HD-SDI), use the Video format
Switch on the side of the camera (see also“Part names”for location of the switch). Only
one format can be used at a time. The Video sub-out Connector signal is not aected by
the switch setting.

Installationsanweisungen
ACHTUNG: Die Kamerahalterung sollte an einem Bauelement
wie etwa Beton, Hartholz, einem Wandständer oder Deckenbal-
ken befestigt werden, welches das Gewicht der Kamera trägt.
Verwenden Sie, falls erforderlich, geeignetes Befestigungsmateri-
al (z.B. Dübel) anstelle des mitgelieferten Materials.
1. Bohren Sie drei Löcher zur Montage an der Decke oder an der Wand.
2. Setzen Sie die einfachen Adapter an die Stelle mit den vorgebohrten Löchern und
befestigen Sie sie mit den Befestigungsschrauben. (3.5 x 25mm)
3. Verlegen Sie das Netz-/Videokabel an die Anschlussstelle.
4. Setzen Sie die Dome-Basis auf den einfachen Adapter auf.
5. Stellen Sie den Betrachtungswinkel der Kamera ein (Schwenk-, Neigungs- und
Drehwinkel).
6. Bringen Sie die Dome-Abdeckung auf der Dome-Basis an.

Trennen der Dome-Kamera vom einfachen Adapter
Drücken Sie auf den Haken auf der Dome-Basis und drehen Sie die Dome-Basis gegen
den Uhrzeigersinn. Trennen Sie anschließend die Dome-Kamera vom installierten einfa-
chen Adapter.

Setzen Sie den Schraubendreher in die Spalte der Kuppel-Abdeckung und drücken Sie

1. Schwenkwinkel: Der Schwenkwinkel ist auf +/- 175° begrenzt. Den Aufhängebü-
gel nicht über den Anschlag hinausdrücken, da sonst interne Beschädigungen
auftreten können.
2. Neigungswinkel: Die Neigung ist auf min. 25° bis max. 90° begrenzt, wobei vor-
ausgesetzt wird, dass die Neigung des Kameramoduls in Bezug auf die Decke 0°
ist, d.h., dass das Bild horizontal ausgerichtet ist.
3. Drehwinkel (horizontale Bildausrichtung): Der Drehwinkel ist begrenzt auf max.
+/- 175°.

ACHTUNG:
Achten Sie besonders darauf, die Abdeckkuppel der Dome-
Kamera während der Installation oder der Einstellung NICHT zu
verkratzen.
Achten Sie besonders darauf, die IR-LEDs nicht zu beschädigen.
Es muss sorgfältig darauf geachtet werden, das Kabel NICHT zu
beschädigen, zu knicken oder Gefahrenbereichen auszusetzen.
Setzen Sie die Kamera nie direkt einer starken Lichtquelle wie der
Sonne oder einem Scheinwerfer aus.
Stromversorgungsanschlüsse
Die Kamera kann entweder mit einer geregelten oder ungeregelten 12 VDC Stromversor-
gung betrieben werden, aber eine geregelte 12 VDC Stromversorgung wird empfohlen).
Die Kamera ist vor Schädigung durch falsche Polung der Stromversorgung geschützt.
iWenn der Monitor über keine HD-SDI/EX-SDI-Eingänge verfügt, benutzen Sie bitte
einen HD-SDI/EX-SDI-Konverter, um das HD-SDI/EX-SDI-Kabel mit dem Monitor zu verbin-
den. Einige Computer-Monitore oder Fernsehgeräte unterstützen möglicherweise keine
30 p/25 p. In diesem Fall wird ein HD-SDI/EX-SDI-DVR empfohlen, der die Bildrate in 60
p/50 p konvertieren kann. Bitte überprüfen Sie die Spezikationen des Monitors vor der
Installation.

Betriebsanleitung
Bildschirmmenü-Steuerung verwenden
Zugri und Steuerung des Kongurationsmenüs können über den Joystick zur Bild-
schirmmenü-Steuerung an der Kamera und einen Service Monitor erfolgen. Fünf Befehle
stehen mit dem Joystick zur Verfügung.
ACHTUNG: Achten Sie besonders darauf, die IR-LEDs nicht zu
beschädigen.
Beschreibung der Joystick-Bedienung
1. SET-Taste (●): Zum Zugreifen auf das Menü oder Eingeben der Einstellung. Um in
das Hauptmenü zu gelangen, halten Sie die Set-Taste ca. 1,5 Sek. lang gedrückt.
2. UP/DOWN-Taste (▲/▼): Zum Wählen des gewünschten Untermenüs und zum
Bewegen des Cursors nach oben oder nach unten.
3. LEFT/RIGHT-Taste (◄/►): Zum Anpassen eines Werts im ausgewählten Menü. Dient
zum Auswahl eines gewünschten Menü-Elements und um den Cursor nach links
oder rechts zu bewegen.
4. ‘☟’bedeutet ca. 2 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten
Beschreibung der D-Zoom-Einstellung
iFunktioniert nur, wenn das Bildschirmmenü inaktiv ist. Stellen Sie Pointing Zoom auf
"ON" für die D-Zoom-Steuerung.

Stellen Sie das Videoformat gemäß dem System ein, EX-SDI oder HD-SDI.
Um das Ausgabe-Videoformat der Kamera auszuwählen (EX-SDI oder HD-SDI), verwen-
den Sie den Videoformat-Schalter an der Seite der Kamera (siehe auch„Bezeichnungen
von Gerätekomponenten“ für die genaue Position des Schalters). Nur ein Format kann zu
einem gegebenen Zeitpunkt verwendet werden. Das Video Sub-out Anschlusssignal ist
