PRIMA DELL’USO
Prima di utilizzare questo apparecchio è bene
rispettare le seguenti norme di sicurezza
al fine di evitare incidenti come rischio di in-
cendio, scosse elettriche e ferite personali.
Non lasciar utilizzare questo apparecchio alle
persone che non hanno letto il presente
manuale di istruzioni. Questo apparecchio per-
mette una facile stiratura; usando un vapore
omogeneo e la giusta temperatura si possono
stirare rapidamente fazzoletti, tovagliette,
jeans, ecc..

1. Non mettere oggetti pesanti sui cavi o fonti
di calore vicini ad essi. I cavi potrebbero dan-
neggiarsi.
2. Questo prodotto è previsto per esclusivo
impiego domestico.
3. Prima di procedere alla manutenzione e pu-
lizia disconnettere l’apparecchio dall’alimen-
tazione.
4. Non usare nebulizzatori spray (per es. inset-
ticidi, spra per capelli ecc), potrebbe creare
danni all’involucro.

14. Non usare il prodotto per scopi diversi da
quelli per cui è stato costruito. Non fare un uso
errato dell’apparecchio.
15. Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato,
esso deve essere sostituito dal costruttore o dal
suo servizio assistenza tecnica o comunque da
una persona con qualifica similare, in modo da
prevenire ogni rischio.
16. I bambini devono essere sorvegliati per
sincerarsi che non giochino con l’apparecchio.
17. L’utilizzatore non deve lasciare il ferro
senza sorveglianza quando è collegato all’ali-
mentazione.
18. La spina del cordone di alimentazione deve
essere rimossa dalla presa prima che il serbato-
io sia riempito d’acqua.
19. L’orifizio di riempimento non deve essere
aperto durante l’utilizzo.
20. Il ferro deve essere utilizzato e lasciato a
riposo su una superficie piana e stabile.
21. Quando si ripone il ferro sul suo appoggi-
aferro, assicurarsi che la superficie sui è collo-
cate l’appoggiaferro sia stabile;
5. Nel caso in cui si verificassero situazioni ano-
male spegnere immediatamente l’apparecchio
e contattare il rivenditore o il servizio di assis-
tenza.
6. Non utilizzare questo apparecchio collegato
a programmatori, temporizzatore esterno,
sistema di comando a distanza separato , timer
o qualsiasi altro dispositivo che possa accend-
erlo automaticamente.
7. Non utilizzare prese di corrente volanti
oppure cavi danneggiati.
8. Quando si stacca la spina tenerla saldamente
per evitare shock elettrico, corto circuito o in-
cendio.
9. Non fissare interruttori di sicurezza con
nastro adesivo, per pericolo di incendio.
10. E’ assolutamente vietato smontare o
riparare l’apparecchio per pericolo di shock
elettrico; se necessario rivolgersi al rivenditore
o centro assistenza.
11. Non appoggiare oggetti sull’apparecchio
per pericolo di incendio.
12. Non inserire oggetti nelle fessure dell’ap-
parecchio.
13. Prima di collegare l’apparecchio alla rete
elettrica accertarsi che la tensione sia corretta

22. Il ferro non deve essere utilizzato se è stato
fatto cadere, se vi sono segni di danni visibili o
se perde.
23. Quando l’apparecchio e’ alimentato o du-
rante la fase di raffreddamento tenere il ferro
ed il cavo di alimetazione fuori dalla portata
dei bambini con meno di 8 anni.
24. Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato
da bambini dagli 8 anni in su e da persone con
ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali o
con mancanza di esperienza o conoscenza se a
loro è stata assicurata un’adeguata sorveglian-
za oppure se hanno ricevuto istruzioni circa
l’uso in sicurezza dell’apparecchio e hanno
compreso i pericoli correlati. I bambini non
devono giocare con l’apparecchio. Le operazi-
oni di pulizia e di manutenzione non devono
essere effettuate da bambini a meno che non
abbiano più di 8 anni e siano sorvegliati.
25. Le superfici sono soggette a diventare
calde durante l’uso.
26. Dopo aver tolto l’imballaggio assicurarsi
dell’integrità dell’apparecchio. Gli elementi
dell’imballaggio (sacchetti di plastica, polistiro-
lo, punti metallici, ecc…) non devono essere
lasciati alla portata dei bambini in quanto
possibili fonti di pericolo. Smaltire il materiale
di imballaggio con la raccolta differenziata,
come da normative vigenti nel proprio paese.
27. Prima dell’uso verificare che l’unità, il cavo
e la spina non siano danneggiati. Non piegare
o tirare il cavo. Non utilizzare l’apparecchio in
presenza di cavo elettrico danneggiato, o
dopo che l’apparecchio si è guastato, è caduto
o è stato danneggiato in qualsiasi altro modo.
Qualsiasi riparazione o modifica deve essere
svolta solo da personale esperto ed autorizza-
to.
28. Non accendere l’apparecchio se presenta
malfunzionamenti o anomalie
29. L’apparecchio deve essere utilizzato solo
per eseguire le operazioni per le quali è stato
costruito, operazioni diverse saranno da con-
siderarsi improprie e pertanto pericolose.
30. Non toccare e non utilizzare l’apparecchio
con le mani o i piedi bagnati, quando il pavi-
mento è umido o se l’apparecchio stesso è
umido.
31. Non toccare la spina con mani o piedi bag-
nati o umidi.

32. Non esporre l’apparecchio alla pioggia.
Non utilizzare all’esterno. L’apparecchio è des-
tinato esclusivamente per un uso domestico.
33. Non utilizzare l’apparecchio in ambienti
umidi o bagnati. Non usare l’apparecchio
vicino a rubinetti, lavandini, vasca da bagno,
doccia o altri recipienti d’acqua. Non immerge-
re l’apparecchio, la spina o il cavo in acqua o in
qualunque altro liquido. Nel caso in cui l’ap-
parecchio dovesse accidentalmente cadere
in acqua scollegare immediatamente la spina
dalla presa di corrente e fare controllare l’ap-
parecchio in un centro di assistenza autorizza-
to. In nessun caso immergere le mani per recu-
perare l’apparecchio senza prima avere tolto la
spina dalla presa. La mancata osservazione di
queste norme potrebbe causare una scarica
elettrica.
34. Non lavare l’apparecchio né le singole parti
in lavastoviglie.
35. Tenere lontano dalle fonti di calore.
36. Non lasciare mai l’apparecchio incustodito
quando è in funzione.
37. Proteggere il cavo elettrico da spigoli vivi e
fonti di calore.
38. Non tirare il cavo di alimentazione o l’unità
per staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente.
Non sollevare, sostenere o spostare l’apparec-
chio tenendolo solo dal cavo.
39. Si sconsiglia l’uso di prolunghe. Nel caso in
cui fosse necessario l’uso di adattatori, prese
multiple o pro lunghe, utilizzare solo quelle
conformi alle vigenti norme di sicurezza. In
ogni caso non superare mai i 40. Togliere la
spina dalla presa se l’apparecchio non è in
uso e sempre prima di pulirlo. Prima di pulirlo
aspettare che l’apparecchio si sia raffreddato
completamente.

43. Spegnere l’apparecchio prima di scollegarlo
dalla presa a muro.limiti di assorbimento indi-
cati sull’adattatore semplice e/o sulle prolung-
he, nonché quello di massima potenza marcato
sull’adattatore multiplo.

44. Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio nelle vici-
nanze di liquidi o gas infiammabili. Non usare
questo apparecchio in atmosfera corrosiva od
esplosiva, in presenza di solventi e vernici, per
evitare corto circuiti ed esplosioni.
45. Restare vigili. Fare attenzione a quello che
si sta facendo. Lavorare in modo ragionato.
Non utilizzare l’apparecchio quando si è dis-
tratti o stanchi o sotto l’effetto di alcool,
droghe o medicinali.
46. Evitare posizioni anormali del corpo. Trova-
re una posizione sicura e mantenere sempre
l’equilibrio.
47. Le operazioni di pulizia devono essere ef-
fettuate dopo aver staccato la spina.
48. In caso di guasto o di cattivo funzionamen-
to, non manomettere l’apparecchio. Per l’even-
tuale riparazione rivolgersi solamente ad un
centro autorizzato. Il mancato rispetto di
quanto sopra può compromettere la sicurezza
dell’apparecchio e far decadere i termini di
garanzia.
49. Conservare l’apparecchio con cura, in un
luogo asciutto, chiuso a chiave, fuori dalla por-
tata dei bambini.
50. Qualora l’apparecchio sia fuori uso e/o si
sia deciso di non farlo riparare, si raccomanda
di renderlo inutilizzabile tagliando il cavo di
alimentazione.
51. Attenzione! Per la vostra sicurezza, utiliz-
zare esclusivamente gli accessori raccomandati
nel presente manuale. L’uso di accessori diversi
da quelli specificati o raccomandati può essere
causa di infortuni e far decadere la garanzia.
NOTE: Non apportare modifiche all’interno
dell’apparecchio. Modifiche non autorizzate
annullano la garanzia.
Per riparazioni o sostituzioni rivolgersi al
centro di assistenza autorizzato. Potere tele-
fonare o mandare un e-mail come da indicazi-
oni sulla cartolina di “GARANZIA”. Una
riparazione impropria potrebbe causare gravi
danni e la perdita della garanzia.
AVVERTENZE PARTICOLARI PER I
FERRI DA STIRO
IMPORTANTE: pericolo ustione!!
• Durante il funzionamento, il ferro e la cal-
daia raggiungono temperature elevate, fare
molta attenzione, pericolo di ustioni.Non

toccare mai le parti in metallo del ferro
quando è caldo. Non avvicinare il visto al
vapore che fuoriesce dalla piastra.
• Attenzione, se l’apparecchio è stato utilizza-
to ed ora è spento, anche se non ha nessun
tipo di segnalazione visiva potrebbe essere
ancora caldo, fare molta attenzione.
• Appoggiare sempre il ferro sull’apposito ap-
poggiaferro sulla caldaia o comunque su una
superficie piana, stabile e resistente al calore.
Non lasciare il ferro appoggiato su tessuti o
altrove. Quando si posiziona il ferro vertical-
mente, assicurarsi che la superficie di appoggio
sia conforme, piana e stabile.
• Non lasciare incustodito i prodotto quando la
piastra è calda; tenerlo sotto sorveglianza fino
al completo raffreddamento.
• Per evitare scottature non toccare le parti
calde, utilizzare sempre la sua impugnatura.
Prima di riporre o pulire l’apparecchio togliere
la spina dalla presa di corrente ed attendere il
completo raffreddamento.
• Non utilizzare l’apparecchio vicino a tendag-
gi, mobili o altri oggetti infiammabili.
• Attenzione! Il vapore è molto caldo, pericolo
di ustioni. Non direzionare mai il getto di
vapore verso persone, animali o oggetti che si
possono danneggiare o scottare.
• Utilizzare solo acqua del rubinetto o acqua
demineralizzata per riempire il serbatoio della
caldaia. Altri liquidi possono danneggiare com-
ponenti o guarnizioni. Non riempire troppo il
serbatoio. Non introdurre nel serbatoio mis-
cele smacchianti, aceto, agenti disincrostanti o
chimici in genere.
• Usare il misurino in dotazione per riempire il
serbatoio della caldaia. Non riempire il serba-
toio direttamente sotto il rubinetto o con liq-
uidi molto freddi.
• Se il tappo del serbatoio non si apre facil-
mente, attendere il completo raffreddamento
della caldaia; non sforzare per aprirlo. Quando
all’interno della caldaia vi è una pressione tale
da produrre vapore il tappo non è svitabile.
Quando la pressione diminuisce il tappo si può
aprire.

ATTENZIONE: qualora si voglia aprire il serba-
toio, spegnere la caldaia, scollegare l’apparec-
chio della presa di corrente e attendere qual-
che minuto che il prodotto si raffreddi. Svitare
il tappo a poco a poco per far uscire lentam-
ente dal serbatoio il vapore residuo fino ad
esaurirlo.
NOTE: cerniere, bottoni, borchie, ecc.. possono
graffiare la piastra; anche se la piastra risulta
rigata questo non compromette il suo funzion-
amento.

- Non avvolgere il cavo attorno all’appar-
ecchio, né pri ma né dopo l’uso.
- Non sottoporre il ferro ad urti, potreb-
bero danneggiarlo.
- Non utilizzare il ferro da stiro come
unità di riscaldamento.
- Scollegare sempre la spina e lasciare raf-
freddare l’apparecchio prima di riempire
o svuotare il serbatoio.
- Dopo la stiratura far fuoriuscire tutto il
vapore con l’apposito tasto ed attendere
il raffreddamento della piastra prima di
riporre il sistema stirante.
- Controllare bene che l’etichetta dei tes-
suti da stirare / trattare corrisponda
all’impostazione e alla temperatura del
ferro.

• Posizionare il sistema stirante in posizione stabile, lontano da fonti di calore.
• Con l’apparecchio completamente freddo, la spina scollegata dalla presa di corrente, e entrambi i
pulsanti 2 e 3 su “0” svitare il tappo e riempire il serbatoio d’acqua, con il misurino in dotazione,
senza raggiungere la capienza massima di 800ml. Se il serbatoio viene riempito troppo, togliere
l’acqua in eccesso.
• Avvitare bene il tappo.
• Collegare il cavo alla presa di corrente.
Al primo utilizzo o dopo che il ferro è rimasto a lungo inutilizzato, è opportuno espellere vapore
con i tasti 12 e 13, per circa 20 secondi su un panno. Questo espellerà i residui di lavorazione o di
calcare.
INSTALLAZIONE
Con il ferro da stiro appoggiato sull’apposita base appoggiaferro sulla caldaia, accendere solo il
ferro da stiro, con il tasto 2. Ruotare il termostato in senso orario fino a impostare la temperatura
desiderata (assicurarsi che il capo da trattare sia compatibile con la temperatura impostata).
Quando l’indicatore luminoso si spegnerà il ferro è pronto per essere utilizzato. Durante tutto il
periodo di funzionamento l’indicatore luminoso si illuminerà e si spegnerà ad intervalli irregolari,
questo è normale. Attenzione! Anche se l’indicatore luminoso è spento la piastra è calda. Pericolo
di ustioni!!
STIRARE A SECCO
ATTENZIONE: per la stiratura a vapore, verificare sempre che il termostato (n. 11) non sia in
posizione minima; per ottenere un buon vapore regolare su unatemperatura media/massima.
- Per l’utilizzo del vapore, in orizzontale o in verticale, o per un’erogazione ad intermittenza
premere il tasto 13, per un’erogazione continua premere i tasti 12 e 13 consecutivamente.
ATTENZIONE! Nell’utilizzo a vapore, attendere il completo riscaldamento del ferro e della
caldaia. Qualche goccia d’acqua potrebbe fuoriuscire insieme al vapore all’inizio della stiratura.
Questo è normale ed è dovuto al riscaldamento del cavo che collega caldaia e ferro.
ATTENZIONE! Non riempire completamente il serbatoio della caldaia poiché questo impedisce la
completa formazione del vapore e di conseguenza provoca l’uscita di acqua dal ferro.
• Accendere la caldaia con tasto 3 in posizione “I”. Il tasto si accenderà, indica che la caldaia sta
scaldando.
ATTENZIONE!! Quando la luce di controllo della caldaia 4, si accende vuol dire che la caldaia è
pronta per produrre vapore. Durante il normale funzionamento la luce si accende e si spegne.
• Accendere il ferro da stiro con il tasto 2 in posizione “I”.
• Regolare la temperatura del ferro da stiro con il termostato, a seconda del capo da stirare. La spia
di controllo della temperatura della piastra, posta sul manico, si accenderà per indicare che il ferro
si sta scaldando.
ATTENZIONE! Quando questa luce si spegne significa che la piastra del ferro ha raggiunto la
temperatura desiderata. Durante il normale funzionamento la luce si accende e si spegne.

Al primo utilizzo rimuovere la pellicola di protezione della piastra, qualora sia presente; per
qualsisasi dubbio o malfunzionamento, spegnere l'apparecchio e contattare il servizio a assisenza al
numero verde. Al primo utilizzo fare fuoriuscire ripetutamente il vapore lontano dai capi e provare
il ferro su un qualsiasi pezzo di stoffa senza valore per eliminare eventuali residui di lavorazione,
che potrebbero sporcare o graffiare il tessuto da stirare.
Far asciugare completamente i capi prima di stirarli. Non passare la piastra su bottoni o cerniere.Per
assicurarsi una ventilazione sufficiente, la distanza tra l’apparecchio ed il muro o altri
oggetti deve essere almeno 15cm sul lato posteriore e lateralmente.
Togliere qualsiasi eventuale adesivo o etichetta dalla piastra e pulirla con un panno morbido
evitando di graffiarla.
ISTRUZIONI D'USO

Dopo aver effettuato il rifornimento acqua, posizionare il ferro verticalmente ad una distanza
minima di 20-30cm da tende o tessuti da stirare e premere il pulsante vapore, vaporizzare
disegnando grandi cerchi.
NOTE: nel caso in cui la temperatura impostata del ferro sia troppo bassa potrebbe fuoriuscire
acqua dalla piastra del ferro. Assicurarsi che il capo da trattare sia compatibile con la temperatura
ed il trattamento a vapore impostato.
STIRARE A VAPORE
Si raccomanda l’uso di acqua del rubinetto o acqua demineralizzata per evitare incrostazioni della
caldaia. La capienza del serbatoio è di 800ml. Per rimboccare la caldaia spegnere il sistema stirante
per mezzo dei tasti 2 e 3 aspettando qualche minuto che si raffreddi.
ATTENZIONE! PROCEDERE CON MOLTA CAUTELA. Per evitare qualsiasi rischio di infortunio fare
uscire completamente il vapore prima di aprire il tappo della caldaia.
Spegnere il ferro da stiro con il tasto 2. Scollegare la spina dalla presa di corrente.
Aspettare almeno 10-15 minuti prima di provare a svitare il tappo. Eseguire questa operazione
molto lentamente, potrebbe essere rimasto del vapore nel serbatoio. Se non si riesce a svitare il
tappo, aspettare che la caldaia si raffreddi completamente e riprovare.
RIFORNIMENTO DELLA CALDAIA
Nella tabella vengono fornite indicazioni sulla regolazione del termostato in base ai simboli
internazionali riportati sulle etichette dei capi d’abbigliamento o in base al tipo di tessuto.

Il tessuto non si può stirare
Si consiglia di stirare prima i capi che richiedono una bassa temperatura e poi quelli a media ed alta
temperatura.
Questo farà risparmiare tempo poiché la piastra si riscalda più velocemente di quanto si raffreddi.
Qualora si tratti di stirare capi compositi (es acrilico e cotone) si consiglia di selezionare la
temperatura in base al capo che richiede quella più bassa.
Quando non si conosce la composizione del tessuto si consiglia di stirare una parte non visibile del
capo, partendo dalla temperatura minima fino a trovare la temperatura più adatta.
A volte il capo diventa lucido; in questo caso si consiglia di stirarlo sulla parte interna per non
rovinarlo. Quando si stira alla massima temperatura (max) si consiglia di interporre un panno tra la
piastra ed il tessuto.
• Accendere la caldaia con il tasto 3 ed il ferro con il tasto 2.
• Verificare che il termostato sia in posizione media o massima.
• Aspettare che la spia della caldaia 4 si accenda.
• Espellere il vapore premendo il tasto 12 e 13 consecutivamente (si suggerisce di eseguire delle
pause di qualche secondo ogni 30 secondi al fine di non danneggiare l’apparecchio).
• Quando la spia 5 (segnalazione mancanza acqua) si accende,interrompere l’uscita del vapore (tasto
12 e 13).
• Spegnere la caldaia con il tasto 3 ed il ferro con il tasto 2.

1. Do not place heavy objects on top of the
power cable. Do not leave the power cable
close to sources of heat. The cables could be

Do not lift, hold or move the appliance using

In any case, never exceed the power consump-

40. Unplug the appliance when it is not in use,
and before every cleaning. Before cleaning the
appliance, wait for it to cool down fully.

41. NEVER OPEN THE HOT APPLIANCE WHEN
THE WATER RUNS OUT!! Wait for the appli-
ance to cool down before opening the cap of
the tank.

43. Switch the appliance off before plugging it
out of the wall socket.
44. Never use the appliance in the vicinity of
flammable gas or liquids. Do not use this appli-
ance in corrosive or explosive atmospheres or
in the presence of solvents and paints, in order
to avoid short circuits and explosions.
45. Remain vigilant. Pay attention to what you
are doing. Work in a sensible manner. Do not
use the appliance while distracted, tired, or
under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medi-
cation.
46. Avoid positioning your body abnormally.
Find a safe position and remain balanced at all

47. The appliance must be plugged out before
carrying out cleaning operations.
48. In the event of a fault or malfunction, do
not tamper with the appliance.

making it unusable by cutting the power

Improper repairs may cause serious damage
and voiding of the warranty.

Before storing or cleaning the appliance, plug
it out from the electric socket and wait for it
to cool down fully.
• Do not use the appliance close to curtains,
furniture or other flammable objects.
Attention! The steam is very hot, causing a risk
of burns. Never direct jets of steam towards
people, pets or objects that could be damaged
or burnt.
• Only use tap water or purified water to fill
the tank of the boiler. Other liquids may
damage components or seals. Do not overfill
the tank.
Do not add stain-removing mixtures, vinegar,
scale removers or chemicals in general to the
tank.
• Use the cup provided to fill the tank of the
boiler. Do not fill the tank directly from the
tap or with very cold liquids.
• If the cap of the tank does not open easily,
wait for the boiler to cool down fully. Do not
attempt to force it open. When the pressure
inside the boiler is sufficient to produce steam,
the cap cannot be twisted. The cap can be
opened once the pressure decreases.
SPECIFIC WARNINGS FOR STEAM
IRONS
IMPORTANT: danger of burns!!
• While in operation, the iron and boiler reach
high temperatures. Be extremely careful, as
there is a danger of burns. Never touch the
metal parts of the iron while it is hot. Do not
bring your face close to the steam which
comes out of the sole plate.
• Attention: when the appliance has been
switched off after use, it may still be hot even
in the absence of any kind of visual indication.
Be extremely careful.
• Always rest the iron on the stand provided
on the boiler, or in any case on a flat, stable
and heat-resistant surface. Do not leave the
iron resting on fabric or elsewhere. When posi-
tioning the iron vertically, make sure that the
surface on which it rests is even, flat and
stable.
• Do not leave the product unsupervised when
the sole plate is hot. It must be under supervi-
sion until it has cooled down fully.
• To prevent burns, do not touch the hot parts.
Instead, always use the handle.

ATTENTION: when you wish to open the tank,
turn off the boiler, plug the appliance out of
the socket, and wait for a few minutes to
allow the product to cool down. Twist the cap
gradually to allow the residual steam out of
the tank, until there is none left.
NOTE: zips, buttons, studs, etc. may scratch the
sole plate. Even if the sole plate does become
scratched, this does not compromise its func-
tionality.
- Do not wind the cable around the appli-
ance, either before or after use.
- Do not subject the iron to any impacts,
as this could damage it.
- Do not use the steam iron as a heating
unit.
- Always unplug the appliance and allow
it to cool down before filling or emptying
the tank.
- After ironing, use the button provided
to allow all of the steam out and wait for
the sole plate to cool down before put-
ting the ironing apparatus away.
- Carefully check that the tag on the fab-
rics to be ironed/treated matches the
temperature setting on the iron.

When using for the first time, remove the protective film from the sole plate, if present. In the case
of any doubts or malfunction, switch the appliance off and contact the support centre at the
freephone number. When using for the first time, emit bursts of steam repeatedly away from
clothes, then test the iron on a piece of rag cloth to eliminate any manufacturing residues, which
may soil or scratch the fabric being ironed. Allow clothes to dry completely before ironing them. Do
not pass the iron over buttons or zips. To ensure adequate ventilation, there must be a distance of
at least 15 cm between the back and sides of the appliance and the wall or other objects.
Remove any stickers or labels from the sole plate and clean it with a soft cloth, taking care not to
scratch it.

• Place the ironing system in a stable location, away from sources of heat.
• With the appliance completely cold, the plug disconnected from the electric socket, and buttons 2
and 3 both turned to “0”, twist the cap and fill the water tank using the measuring cup provided,
without reaching the maximum capacity of 800ml. If the tank is too full, pour out the excess water.
• Close the cap tightly.
• Plug into the electric socket.
When using for the first time, or after the iron has not been used for a long period, it is
recommended that you use buttons 12 and 13 to emit steam towards a piece of cloth for around 20
seconds. This will get rid of any manufacturing residues or limescale.
SETTING UP
With the steam iron resting on the stand provided for it on the boiler, switch on the iron alone,
using button 2. Turn the thermostat clockwise until it is set to the desired temperature (make sure
that the clothes you wish to iron are compatible with this temperature setting). When the indicator
light switches off, the iron is ready for use. Throughout use, the indicator light will switch on and
off at irregular intervals: this is normal. Attention! The sole plate is hot even while the indicator
light is switched off. Danger of burning!!!
DRY IRONING
ATTENTION: for steam ironing, always make sure that the thermostat (n. 11) is not in the
minimum position. For good steam production, use medium/maximum temperature.
- To use steam horizontally or vertically, or for intermittent steam emission, press button 13. For
continuous emission, press buttons 12 and 13 together.
ATTENTION! When using steam, wait for the iron and the boiler to heat up completely. A few
drops of water may be emitted along with the steam at the start of ironing. This is normal, and is
caused by the high temperature of the cable attaching the boiler and the iron.
ATTENTION! Do not completely fill the tank of the boiler, as this prevents the proper formation of
steam and, as a result, causes water to be emitted from the iron.
• Switch the boiler on by turning button 3 to the “I” position. The button will light up, indicating
that the boiler is heating up.
ATTENTION!!! When the boiler control light (4) comes on, this means that the boiler is ready to
produce steam. During normal operation, this light will continue to switch on and off.
• Switch the iron on by turning button 2 to the “I” position. Adjust the temperature of the iron
using the thermostat, based
on the item you wish to iron. The sole plate temperature indicator on the handle will switch on to
show that the iron is heating up.
ATTENTION! When this light switches off, it means that the sole plate has reached the desired
temperature. During normal operation, this light will continue to switch on and off.
OPERATION
After filling with water, place the iron in a vertical position at a distance of at least 20-30cm from
the curtains or fabrics you wish to iron, then press the steam button, emitting steam in wide circular
movements.
NOTE: if the temperature set on the iron is too low, water may be emitted from the sole plate.
Make sure that the clothes you wish to iron are compatible with the temperature and steam
settings.
STEAM IRONING
The use of tap water or purified water is recommended to prevent build-ups in the boiler. The tank
has a capacity of 800ml. If you need to refill the boiler, switch the ironing system off using buttons
2 and 3 and wait for a few minutes while it cools down.
ATTENTION! BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL. To avoid the risk of any accidents, completely release all the
steam before opening the boiler cap.
Switch the iron off using button 2. Disconnect the plug from the electric socket. Wait at least 10-15
minutes before trying to open the cap. Do this very slowly, as there may be steam left in the tank. If
you are unable to turn the cap, wait for the boiler to cool down fully and try again.
REFILLING THE BOILER
The table below shows how to set the thermostat based on the international symbols shown on
clothing tags or based on the type of fabric.

Do not iron
It is a good idea to start by ironing any clothes which require a low temperature, before moving on
to medium and high temperatures. This will save time, as the sole plate heats up more quickly than
it cools down.
When ironing clothes with a mixture of fabrics (e.g. acrylic and cotton), it is recommended that you
choose the lowest of the temperatures required.
If you do not know the fabric composition of a piece of clothing, iron a part of the item which is
concealed from view, starting with the minimum temperature until you find the most suitable
setting.
