Clears a network error. Hold down for more than three seconds
to make network settings using the WPS button on a wireless
router. See User’s Guide.

Prints a network connection report to determine the causes
of any network problems. To get more information, hold this
button down for more than 10 seconds to print a network status
sheet.

Starts monochrome or color copy.
Press both buttons simultaneously to scan your original and save

Flip the feeder guard, and then slide out the paper support and the
output tray.

Open the document cover and place your original face-down on the
scanner glass. Align the original with the front right corner of the glass.

Load paper with the printable side face-up against the right side of the
sheet feeder.
將紙張的列印面朝上，靠齊自動進紙槽的右側放入。
Turns on when an ink cartridge is expended, invalid, or not
installed correctly.
Flashes when an ink cartridge is running low on ink. Printing is
still possible.
Leave an expended or low-ink-level cartridge installed until you
have obtained a replacement. Otherwise, the ink remaining in
the print head nozzles may dry out. In addition, ink cartridges
with a low ink level cannot be used even if they are reinserted
into the printer.
See the “Replacing Ink Cartridges” section.
墨水匣需要更換、無效或未正確安裝時亮起。
墨水匣的墨水存量偏低時閃爍。仍可執行列印操作。
請將需要更換或墨水存量偏低的墨水匣留在印表機內，直到

QOPress the yand the or buttons simultaneously to copy
in draft mode.
OYou can make up to 20 copies by pressing the or button
the same number of times as the number of copies you want to
make.

Replacing Ink Cartridges
更換墨水匣
Prepare new ink cartridge(s). For best results, gently shake only the new
Black ink cartridge four or ve times and then unpack.
備妥新的墨水匣。在打開包裝袋前，請先搖晃新的黑色墨水匣 4 到5
次，以取得最佳的輸出品質。
Open the scanner unit and press y. The print head moves. If the print
head does not move, hold down yfor 6 seconds or more until it moves.
打開掃描單元並按下 y鍵。印字頭會隨即移動。若印字頭沒有移動，
請按住 y鍵6 秒以上，直到印字頭移動為止。
Remove only the yellow tape.
只撕下黃色標籤。
Insert the new ink cartridge and press it down rmly.
插入新的墨水匣，並確實往下壓。
QYou do not need to shake the color ink cartridges.
您不必搖晃彩色墨水匣。
Squeeze the tab on the ink cartridge and lift it out.

The print head stops at the mark to indicate an expended or low-ink
cartridge.

Press yagain to move the print head to the ink cartridge replacement
position.
再次按下 y鍵將印字頭移至墨水匣更換位置。
QIf there is another expended or low-ink-level cartridge, the print
head stops to indicate the cartridge with the mark. Press y
repeatedly until it moves to the replacement position.
若有其他需要更換或墨水存量偏低的墨水匣，印字頭會停止並
以記號指出該墨水匣。反覆按下 y鍵，直到移至更換位置。

Press y. Charging ink is started.

Charging ink takes about 2 minutes. Wait until the light stops ashing.

Print a nozzle check pattern to check if the print head nozzles are clogged.
Turn o the printer, and then turn it back on while holding down y.
If you notice any missing segments or broken lines as shown in (b), go to
step B.

QIf you see missing segments or broken lines in your printouts, try
the following solutions.

Run the print head cleaning. Hold down yfor 3 seconds until the power
light starts ashing.
The cleaning uses some ink from all cartridges, so run the cleaning only if
print quality declines on your prints.

清潔程序會使用到所有墨水匣中的部份墨水，因此僅在列印成品的列

Use only the power cord that comes with the printer. Use of
another cord may cause re or shock. Do not use the cord with
any other equipment.

Place the printer near a wall outlet where the power cord can
be easily unplugged.

or dust, water, heat sources, or in locations subject to shocks,

Keep this product at least 22 cm away from cardiac
pacemakers. Radio waves from this product may adversely
aect the operation of cardiac pacemakers.

Keep ink cartridges out of the reach of children.
請將墨水匣放在兒童無法取得之處。
Be careful when you handle used ink cartridges, as there may
be some ink around the ink supply port. If ink gets on your skin,
wash the area thoroughly with soap and water. If ink gets into
your eyes, ush them immediately with water. If discomfort
or vision problems continue after a thorough ushing, see a
doctor immediately. If ink gets into your mouth, see a doctor
right away.
處理用過的墨水匣時應特別小心，墨孔周圍可能殘留部分墨
水。 若墨水沾到皮膚，請以肥皂及清水徹底洗淨。 若墨水噴
入眼睛，請立刻以清水沖洗。 若完全沖洗後仍感到不適或視
