ANALYSER
The purpose of this guide is to provide essential information required for using the EC 90 series.
Nevertheless, operators are instructed to carefully read the user manual before starting operation. All
precautions, safety and operating instructions must be read, understood and followed.

Log in with dummy account
Open maintenance door, remove
foam block & clamp pump tube
Remove tube clips from valves
V1, V2, V3 & V5
Start-up

Close maintenance door and left side
panel and connect to main power

Confirm pump tube clamped and
tube clips removed
Remove cap & cap sealing from EC
cartridge and peel o sensor film
Confirm insertion & wait for
startup completion
Open front door and lift lever arm up
Insert new EC cartridge & close
lever and front door
Insert printer paper (optional)

Remove left side panel to access
valve V5
Set system settings

Select/deselect parameters in
main screen & start measurement
Lift sample cover & pass sample
to aspiration needle
Close sample cover & wait until
completion of measurement
Select sample type, volume, measuring
mode & enter further information
Trigger aspiration via proximity
sensor or status button
Test results are automatically
displayed in results menu
Performing measurements Performing on-demand calibration and QC

Initiate smart sensor calibration
directly in main screen
Start measurement in QC
results screen
1P or 2P calibration is performed
according to system requirements
Provide all information
to complete registration
To register a new lot, access QC
material screen and press add button
Select QC level and lot number &
proceed with measurement
