Congratulations!
You have purchased a high-quality product. Familiarise yourself with the product
before assembly and before using it for the first time. Please read the following
assembly and operating instructions and safety notices carefully. Use the product
only as described and for the range of applications specified. Retain these
instructions for future reference. Please also pass these operating instructions
on to any future owner(s).
Intended use
This appliance is intended exclusively for the weighing of food in private house-
holds. It is not intended for commercial or industrial applications. This appliance
may only be used when fully assembled.
The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for damage caused by failure to
observe these instructions, improper use, incompetent repairs, unauthorised
modifications or for the use of non-approved replacement parts.

Safety guidelines
To ensure safe operation of the appliance, follow the safety guidelines set out
below:
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
■ Prior to use, check the appliance for visible external damage. Do not operate an
appliance which has been damaged or dropped.
■ People who, due to their physical, intellectual or motor abilities, are incapable of
operating the appliance safely may only use the appliance under the supervision
or direction of a responsible person.
■ Do not allow children to use the appliance unless they are being supervised.
■ Ensure that you do not put your fingers between the bowl and the scale when
you are filling the bowl. Risk of crush injuries!
■ All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist companies or by the
Customer Service department. Improper repairs can pose significant risks to the
user. They will also invalidate any warranty claim.

CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE
■ Defective components must always be replaced with original replacement parts.
Compliance with safety requirements can only be guaranteed if original replace-
ment parts are used.
■ Do not allow any liquids or moisture to get into the appliance.
■ Do not place any objects on the scale when it is not in use.
■ Protect the appliance against knocks, dust, chemicals, extremes of temperature,
etc. and keep it away from sources of heat (ovens, radiators).
■ Do not press down on the weighing mechanism.
■ Do not press on the plastic cover of the weight display.
■ Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures.
■ Do not load the scale with more than 5 kg. The scale could be irreparably
damaged.
Preparation
Unpacking
1. Remove all parts of the scale and the operating instructions from the box.
2. Remove all packing material from the scale. Remove the cable ties and the
paper from below the weighing mechanism.
3. Clean the appliance as described in the section "Cleaning and Care".
WARNING – RISK OF SUFFOCATION!
► Do not allow children to play with packaging materials. There is a risk of
suffocation.
Disposal of packaging materials
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during carriage. The pack-
aging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the materials cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials
that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
► If possible, keep the original packaging of the appliance during the warranty
period so that the appliance can be packed properly for returning in the
event of a warranty claim.

Installation
1. Place the scale on a flat and stable surface.
2. Remove the two outer crews 2from the weighing mechanism using an
open-ended spanner (SW 7) and a Phillips screwdriver.
3. Place the cradle 3on the weighing mechanism so that the holes for the
screws 2are arranged one above the other and the bent arms of the
cradle 3are pointing upwards.
4. Push the screws 2through the holes in the cradle 3and screw the nuts 4
onto them from below (see fold-out page).
5. Place the weighing bowl 1onto the cradle 3.
NOTE
► The appliance may only be used when fully assembled.
Weighing food
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not load the scale with more than 5 kg. The scale could be irreparably
damaged.
1. If you have not done this already: place the weighing bowl 1on the
cradle 3.
2. Turn the zero setting wheel 5until the pointer 6points to zero.
3. Place the food in the weighing bowl 1.
The pointer 6shows the weight on the scale 7.
–Read the outer digits on the scale 7for the weight in kilograms/grams.
–Read the inner digits on the scale 7for the weight in pounds (lb)/
ounces (oz).

Cleaning and care
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not allow any liquids to get into the scale.
This could impair the functionality of the appliance.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
These could damage the upper surfaces of the appliance.
1. Wipe the scales with a damp cloth. For stubborn soiling use a mild detergent
on the cloth. Wipe off any detergent residue using a cloth moistened with
clean water only.
2. Remove the weighing bowl 1from the cradle 3 and wash it in warm
water and a mild detergent. Afterwards, rinse it with plenty of clean water
to remove all detergent residues. Dry the weighing bowl 1thoroughly.
NOTE
► You can also wash the bowl 1in the dishwasher!
Storage
♦ Store the scales in a clean and dry location.
♦ Do not place any objects in the weighing bowl 1during storage.
Disposal of the appliance
Dispose of the appliance in an environmentally friendly manner.
Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste disposal company or your
municipal waste disposal facility. Please observe applicable regulations.
Please contact your waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product
has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep
your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance
and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault
and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or
replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the begin-
ning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as
switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used
or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions
that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against
must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifications/repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.

To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:
■ Please have the till receipt and the item number (e.g. IAN 12345) available as
proof of purchase.
■ You will find the item number on the type plate, an engraving on the front page
of the instructions (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the appli-
ance.
■ If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department listed
either by telephone or by e-mail.
■ You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address
that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till
receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.

uporabo se seznanite z napravo. V ta namen si skrbno preberite naslednja
navodila za montažo in uporabo ter varnostne napotke. Izdelek uporabljajte
le tako, kot je opisano v navodilih, in samo za navedena področja uporabe.
Navodila dobro shranite. Če napravo predate tretjim osebam, priložite tudi vso
dokumentacijo.
Predvidena uporaba
Ta naprava je namenjena izključno za tehtanje živil v domačem gospodinjstvu.
Naprava ni predvidena za obrtno ali industrijsko uporabo. Naprava se sme
uporabljati le povsem montirana.
Proizvajalec ne prevzame nikakršne odgovornosti za škodo, nastalo zaradi ne-
upoštevanja teh navodil, nepredvidene uporabe, nestrokovnih popravil, nedovolje-
nih sprememb ali uporabe nedovoljenih nadomestnih delov.

OPOZORILO – NEVARNOST TELESNIH POŠKODB
■ Pred uporabo preverite, ali so na napravi vidne morebitne zunanje poškodbe.
Ne uporabljajte naprave, ki je poškodovana ali je padla na tla.
■ Osebe, ki zaradi svojih telesnih, duševnih ali motoričnih sposobnosti ne morejo
varno uporabljati naprave, jo smejo uporabljati le pod nadzorom ali z navodili

■ Pazite na to, da med posodo in tehtnico ni prstov, kadar posodo polnite z živilom
za tehtanje. Nevarnost zmečkanja!
■ Popravilo naprave prepustite samo pooblaščenim strokovnim delavnicam ali
servisni službi. Zaradi nestrokovnih popravil lahko pride do velikih nevarnosti
za uporabnika. Poleg tega preneha veljati garancija.

POZOR – MATERIALNA ŠKODA
■ Okvarjene dele naprave lahko zamenjate le za originalne nadomestne dele.
Samo pri teh delih je zagotovljeno, da bodo izpolnjene zahteve glede varnosti
naprave.
■ Napravo zaščitite pred vlago in vdorom tekočin.
■ Kadar naprave ne uporabljate, nanjo ne odlagajte nobenih predmetov.
■ Napravo zaščitite pred udarci, prahom, kemikalijami, močno nihajočimi
temperaturami in pred premajhno razdaljo od virov toplote (peči, radiatorji).
■ Na pripravo za tehtanje ne pritiskajte s silo.
■ Ne pritiskajte na pokrov iz umetne snovi prikaza teže.
■ Naprave ne izpostavljajte previsokim temperaturam.
■ Tehtnice nikoli ne obremenite z več kot 5kg. Tehtnica se lahko nepopravljivo
poškoduje.
Priprave
Razpakiranje
1. Iz škatle vzemite vse dele tehtnice in navodila za uporabo.
2. S tehtnice odstranite celoten embalažni material. Odstranite tudi kabelske
vezice in papir pod pripravo za tehtanje.
3. Napravo očistite, kot je to opisano v poglavju »Čiščenje in vzdrževanje«.
OPOZORILO – NEVARNOST ZADUŠITVE!
► Otroci embalažnih materialov ne smejo uporabljati za igro. Obstaja
nevarnost zadušitve.
Odlaganje embalaže med odpadke
Embalaža napravo varuje pred poškodbami med prevozom. Embalažni materiali
so izbrani v skladu s svojo ekološko primernostjo in tehničnimi vidiki odstranjevanja,
zato jih je mogoče reciklirati.
Vrnitev embalaže v krogotok materialov pomeni prihranek surovin in manj odpad-
kov. Nepotrebne embalažne materiale odstranite med odpadke v skladu z veljav-
nimi lokalnimi predpisi.
NAPOTEK
► Po možnosti originalno embalažo v času garancijske dobe naprave shranite,
da lahko napravo v primeru uveljavljanja garancije pravilno zapakirate.

Montaža
1. Tehtnico postavite na ravno in trdno podlago.
2. Odvijte zunanja vijaka 2s priprave za tehtanje s pomočjo odprtega ključa
(SW 7) in križnega izvijača.
3. Položite držalni nastavek 3na pripravo za tehtanje, tako da so luknje za
vijake 2nameščene druga nad drugo in upognjeni deli držalnega nastav-
ka 3kažejo navzgor.
4. Vtaknite vijake 2od zgoraj skozi luknje v držalnem nastavku 3in od
spodaj privijte matice 4(glejte razklopno stran).
5. Položite posodo 1na držalni nastavek 3.
NAPOTEK
► Naprava se sme uporabljati le povsem montirana.
Tehtanje živil
POZOR – MATERIALNA ŠKODA
► Tehtnice nikoli ne obremenite z več kot 5kg. Tehtnica se lahko nepopravljivo
poškoduje.
1. Če tega še niste storili: položite posodo 1na držalni nastavek 3.
2. Obrnite stikalo za ničelno lego 5, tako da je kazalec 6na položaju za nič.
3. Položite živilo v posodo 1.
Kazalec 6pokaže težo na skali 7.
–Odčitajte zunanje številke na skali 7za prikaz teže v kilogramih/gramih.
–Odčitajte notranje številke na skali 7za prikaz teže v funtih (lb.)/unčah
(oz.).

Čiščenje in vzdrževanje
POZOR – MATERIALNA ŠKODA
Zagotovite, da v tehtnico ne more vdreti nobena tekočina.
To bi negativno vplivalo na napravo.
Ne uporabljajte grobih čistil ali topil.
Ta sredstva lahko poškodujejo površino naprave.
1. Tehtnico obrišite z vlažno krpo. V primeru trdovratne umazanije krpo na-
vlažite še z blagim sredstvom za pomivanje. Odstranite morebitne sledove
sredstva za pomivanje s krpo, navlaženo z vodo.
2. Vzemite posodo 1z držalne priprave 3 in jo očistite v topli vodi z blagim
sredstvom za pomivanje. Izperite jo še z veliko čisto vode, tako da odstranite
vse ostanke sredstva za pomivanje. Posodo 1obrišite.
NAPOTEK
► Posodo 1lahko očistite tudi v pomivalnem stroju.
Shranjevanje
♦ Tehtnico hranite na čistem in suhem mestu.
♦ V posodi 1ne shranjujte nobenih predmetov.
Odstranjevanje med odpadke
Napravo odstranite na okoljsko ustrezen način.
Odpadno napravo oddajte pri podjetju, registriranem za odstranjevanje odpad-
kov, ali pri svojem komunalnem podjetju za odstranjevanje odpadkov. Upoštevajte
trenutno veljavne predpise. V primeru dvoma se obrnite na najbližje podjetje za
odstranjevanje odpadkov.

Garancijski list
1. S tem garancijskim listom Kompernass Handels GmbH jamčimo, da bo izdelek v garan-
cijskem roku ob normalni in pravilni uporabi brezhibno deloval in se zavezujemo, da
bomo ob izpolnjenih spodaj navedenih pogojih odpravili morebitne pomanjkljivosti in
okvare zaradi napak v materialu ali izdelavi oziroma po svoji presoji izdelek zamenjali
ali vrnili kupnino.
2. Garancija je veljavna na ozemlju Republike Slovenije.
3. Garancijski rok za proizvod je 3 leta od datuma izročitve blaga. Datum izročitve blaga
je razviden iz računa.
4. Kupec je dolžan okvaro javiti pooblaščenemu servisu oziroma se informirati o nadaljnjih
postopkih na zgoraj navedeni telefonski številki. Svetujemo vam, da pred tem natančno
preberete navodila o sestavi in uporabi izdelka.
5. Kupec je dolžan pooblaščenemu servisu predložiti garancijski list in račun, kot potrdilo
in dokazilo o nakupu ter dnevu izročitve blaga.
6. V primeru, da proizvod popravlja nepooblaščeni servis ali oseba, kupec ne more uvelja-
vljati zahtevkov iz te garancije.
7. Vzroki za okvaro oziroma nedelovanje izdelka morajo biti lastnosti stvari same in ne
vzroki, ki so zunaj proizvajalčeve oziroma prodajalčeve sfere. Kupec ne more uvelja-
vljati zahtevkov iz te garancije, če se ni držal priloženih navodil za sestavo in uporabo
izdelka ali če je izdelek kakorkoli spremenjen ali nepravilno vzdrževan.
8. Jamčimo servisiranje in rezervne dele za minimalno dobo, ki je zahtevana s strani zako-
nodaje.
9. Obrabni deli oz. potrošni material so izvzeti iz garancije.
10. Vsi potrebni podatki za uveljavljanje garancije se nahajajo na dveh ločenih dokumentih
(garancijski list, račun).
11. Ta garancija proizvajalca ne izključuje pravic potrošnika, ki izhajajo iz odgovornosti
prodajalca za napake na blagu.
