state of the art.
The product meets the requirements of the applicable
European and national guidelines. The conformity with
these requirements has been proven, and the corresponding

facturer.
In order to ensure the product continues to meet these requirements, and
to ensure safe operation, you as the user must observe these operating
instructions.
2. Safety instructions
The guarantee and the warranty expire in the event
of damage to the product caused by failure to
observe these operating instructions. We are not
liable for any consequential damage!
The same applies to property damage or personal
injury caused by improper handling or failure to
observe the safety instructions.
- Unauthorised modifications or other changes to the product are not per-
mitted. The guarantee and the CE approval expire in this event.
- Make sure that the light does not get into the hands of children. It is not
a toy!
- Keep plastic film or other packaging material away from children, there is
a risk of suffocation.
- This product is only suitable for private use!
3. Intended use
In both front sections of the solar light, highly efficient monocrystalline solar
cells are embedded behind glass in a weatherproof compound. This two
solar modules charge the Li-Ion battery inside the light when exposed to
sunlight. At night, the light activates independently and 2 operating modes
can be selected. The 98 LEDs are arranged in a U-shape around the light
behind frosted glass. This enables bright and homogeneous illumination
of the surroundings. The light can be mounted via screws or a ground
spike. It is designed with IP 65 protection and can be used outdoors all
year round.
Note: Solar lights must always be placed in the sunlight without
shading. Operation on the north side or in the shade of trees or bush-
es is not recommended!
4. Installation
1. Carefully remove the parts from the packaging.
2. The light can be mounted via a ground spike or enclosed screws
(expansion anchor). The screws can then be covered with the
enclosed plastic caps.
3. The light has 2 different operating modes:
1. Function via PIR sensor: At night, the light switches on automat-
ically and shines with approx. 3% (approx. 12 lm) of its maximum
intensity. When motion is detected by the PIR sensor, the intensity is
increased to 100% (400 lm) for approx. 20 sec. after the last motion
detection. After that, the intensity is reduced again to 3% until the next
movement.
2. Twilight sensor: At night, the light switches on automatically and
shines for 5 hours with approx. 50% (200 lm) of its intensity. After 5
hours, it then automatically switches to operating mode 1 (function via
PIR sensor).
4. The switch for switching the light on/off and selecting the operating
mode is located under a cover on the top of the light. To access this,
loosen the right-hand screw with a suitable screwdriver and also loos-
en the left-hand screw by a few turns (Fig. 1). Then fold the cover down
(Fig. 2).
5. The right switch is the on/off switch; the left switch can be used to set
the operating mode (Fig. 2). First press the right-hand switch in firmly.
The light will come on briefly. The light is set in mode 1 (function via
PIR sensor). By pressing the left operating mode switch, you can
switch to operating mode 2. This is confirmed by a double flash of the
light. Pressing the button again switches the light back to operating
mode 1. This is confirmed by a short flash of the light.
6. Now mount the light on soft ground with the help of the ground spike.
The light can be mounted on concrete or pavement with the enclosed
M6 expansion anchors. To do this, drill holes with a diameter of 8
mm, insert the anchors into the hole and screw the light in place. The
anchors then wedge themselves into the concrete or pavement. The
enclosed caps can be used to cover the screws.
The light is now ready for use.
Note: The duration of the light depends heavily on the intensity and dura-
tion of sunlight during the day. In the winter months, you can generally
expect less lighting time.
Note: When switched off, the built-in battery is charged when the solar
module is exposed to sunlight.
5. Changing the battery
1. Turn off the light.
2. Unscrew the 4 screws on the back of the light with a suitable screw-
driver (Fig. 3) and remove the cover.
3. Remove the battery from the battery compartment (Fig. 4), disconnect
the plug connection and replace it with an identical Li-Ion battery 3.7
V/ 2000 mAh.
Note: Please note that the plug connection is protected against polari-
ty reversal and that no force should be used when plugging it together.
4. Put the battery back in the battery compartment and now close the light
again in reverse order.
5. Now put the light back into operation as described in point 2 and select
the desired operating mode.
Note: Used batteries must be disposed of in an environmentally friend-
ly manner and do not belong in the household waste. Your dealer is
legally obliged to take back old batteries.
6. Malfunctions
Light does not turn on
- Battery weak or defective? Wait for a sunny day or change the battery
as described in point 6.
- Is the light switched on? Activate the light as described under point 4
- Extraneous light? Is extraneous light shining on the solar module,
simulating daylight? Place the light in a darker place!
