Insert the SIM card in the control panel
Optionally you can use a SIM adaptor when only using a nanoSIM or microSIM
You will need a SIM card if you wish to interact with your Secual Box by SMS and
phone calls.
IMPORTANT
-Make sure the SIM card is not protected by a PIN code.
-We advise you to choose a plan with unlimited text and 1 or 2 hours of call. The
SIM card must be compatible with the GSM network. Contact your carrier for
more information.

Turn the control panel on
-Plug the power adapter to an AC socket.
-Plug the output connector of the power adapter into the adapter input on
the side of your control panel.
-Push the power switch.
-Place your system where you have a good reception (Wi-Fi and/or GSM)

- TOP : Blinking slowly = connected to GSM signal | Blinking
rapidly = Searching for GSM signal
- BOTTOM : Green xed = powered and on | Blue = WI-Fi

Get your app ready
-Download the ”Secual Box V2”app on your smartphone (on the App Store and
Google Play).
-Open the app on your smartphone.
-Create an account. Fill in all the required elds and press “√ ”

“SIM card only” users
If you are using the Secual Box with a SIM card and cannot use the
iOS and Android apps, read the full manual to learn more about
interaction by SMS and phone call.

Connect your system
-In the “Secual Box V2”app, login to your account.
-Close your app and go to your Wi-Fi settings. Find the ES-WIFI network and
connect.
-Press“add device”.A device ID will be lled in, if not push“Get device ID”.
-Wait for 20 seconds to have the app retreive the ID from your device.
-Search and select your home Wi-Fi network and ll in the SSID password.
-Press the “connection” button.
-Fill in an alarm name and SIM card number (only when a SIM card is inserted)
-You can now access your alarm system.

No device ID
When you cannot retrieve the device ID from the app,
or the ESWIFI network seems to be secured, reset the
device connection
-Press the connection button for about 3 seconds
until the device beeps 3 times.
-In your Smartphone Wi-Fi connections search for
the ESWIFI network and look if the network is not
secured (open network)
-Go back to step 4.
RESET THE DEVICE
If above opration fails, or the system ESWIFI network keeps being
secured, you need to reset the alarm device.
-Press the connection button and keep it pressed
-Press the SOS button on top of the device.
-The alarm device will beep 2 times and afterwards 3 times. this
means the device is fully reset.
A full rest means the system will remove all phone numbers and
added accessories.

Store telephone numbers and SMS numbers
This step enables you to dene the phone number(s) to which an SMS is sent,
or to which number the system will call when an alarm is triggered. Only stored
numbers can control and congure the system.

-Dene and ll in all numbers for
SMS notication and telephone call
upon alarm.
-Select or to determine the
SMS or telephone notication
[white : selected notication].
-Press “√ ”to conrm.

-Send “6” or“5”by SMS to the phone
number of the SIM card in the control
panel.
-The control panel replies with a SMS
containing your SMS and telephone
list
-Copy and paste this SMS and edit it so
to add your phone number(s)
-Then send the SMS back to the
control panel.

Control the system
Arm the system [all sensors are active]
-Press in your app | send“1”to the number of the SIM card in your alarm |

-Press in your app | send “1”to the number of the SIM card in your alarm |

your alarm system : Wi-Fi or SMS.

Accessories
UNDERSTANDING THE STANDBY MODE
-If the detector is triggered more than twice within 3 minutes, it switches to
standby mode to save power. During standby mode, the detector is inactive. If
within the next 3 minutes a new movement is detected, the standby mode is
extended by 3 minutes. If no movement is detected within the next 3 minutes,
the sensor is activated again.
The detector is more sensitive to cross
movements than vertical movements.
Placing the sensor in a 0° angle reduces risk of
having false alarm, even with small animals.

Pet immune motion detector
We recommend to mount the detector at a
height of 2.2 meter. The detector does not
detect animals under 25 kg. Avoid mounting
the detectors in areas with a large amount of
metal or electrical devices.

Door contacts
Mount the magnet with double-sided
tape on the door and the door frame
respectively. Always respect a maximum
distance of 1 cm between magnet and
detector.

Connect more accessories
Additional accessories can be connected from the alarm system. Press the“
”(connection button) button on the side of your control panel, and trigger the
accessory. You hear one beep: the accessory is registered. If the control panel
beeps twice, the accessory was already connected.

A PIECE OF ADVICE
-Even if your control panel is connected to your Wi-Fi network, you can add a
SIM card in your Secual Box. This enables you to receive notications by SMS
and phone calls, which can be very useful when you do not have an Internet
connection on your smartphone when the alarm is triggered.
