W en t e battery voltage reac es cut-off value 14.4V/14.7V for 12V battery, 28.8V/29.4V for
24V battery t e c arge process is terminated, 100% green LED indication lig ts up. T e c arge
state of t e battery is continuously monitored. W en t e self-disc arge occurs, trickle c arge
is reapplied automatically to maintain full c arge (it does not affect 100% LED indication).
No ice:
1. In case of a AC power source break / reconnection, t e c arger will automatically recover,
t e regular c arge will be applied wit a default, maximum current of 2A.
2. In case of a bad battery connection or ot er fatal error t e c arger stops operating. T e
failure „!” indicator will lig t up.
3. Regular supervision of charging process is advised.
Using 13.6V DC power supply mode:
1. Do not connect t e c arger to battery terminals.
2. Connect t e c arger to AC mains power source. T e “Power” LED indicator will lig t up.
3. Pressing t e “MODE” button for 3-5s will activate t e 13.6V DC supply mode.
4. T is mode can be used for maintenance and float c arging of 12V SLA batteries. It will
deliver up to 5A current, wit a limited voltage to 13.6V. Can also be used ad DC power supply
for applications not exceeding 4-5A at 13.6V.
5. T is mode is suitable to keep t e batteries in always-ready condition.
Safe y ins ruc ions:
1. Read t e instructions before using t is c arger.
2. T is c arger is intended for use only wit 12V/24V batteries - VRLA, AGM, VLA, SLA, WET,
GEL, LEAD ACID. Always c eck battery's manual for tec nical specification, c arger
recommendation and safety precautions. Attempting to c arge ot er types of batteries may
cause personal injury, damage to t e c arger or lead to a fire and/or explosion.
3. T e c arger is intended for indoor use only. Exposure to any liquids or moisture can cause
damage to t e c arger and battery. Do not allow foreign objects to enter t e c arger. T is
could result in electrical s ock or fire.
4. Disconnect t e c arger from t e power socket w en not in use.
5. Never use an extension cord or any attac ment not recommended by t e manufacturer.
6. Do not operate t e c arger if it as been subjected to s ock or damage. Take it to a qualified
serviceman for repair.
7. Do not attempt to disassemble t e c arger as it may result in a risk of electric s ock or fire.
8. Unplug t e c arger from t e power supply before attempting any cleaning. Use only a soft
damp clot . Do not use water, detergents or alco ol.
9. T is appliance is not intended for use by persons (including c ildren) wit reduced p ysical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless t ey ave been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of t e appliance by a person responsible for
t eir safety. C ildren s ould be supervised to ensure t at t ey do not play wit t e appliance.
10. Lead-Acid batteries can emit explosive gases w en c arged. Prevent sparks and fire
sources close to t e battery. Provide good ventilation – appliance s ould be used only in well
ventilated areas.
