installadifferentfrontmountattachment.
•Minimizespeedanduseextremecaution.
•Onlyoperateonaatlevelsurface.
•DoNotoperateupordownatrailerramp.
•Avoidsuddenaccelerationordeceleration.
UncratingtheUnit
1.Removetopandsidesofcratefrombase.
2.Removeathairpinsfromunderfrontframeand
discard(Figure1).
AssemblingtheDischargeChute
1.Locatethethreeholesattherearofthemowerdeck
shownin(Figure1)andremovethethree#10-24x
3/4inchtrussheadscrewsandthree#10-24inch
nylocnuts.
2.Assemblethedischargetubetothemowerdeckas
shownusingthehardwareremovedinstep1,with
thehingepositionedontopofmowerdeck.
3.Locatethedischargetubespringonthemowerdeck
andhookontothedischargetubespringbracket
(Figure1).

AssemblingtheDeck
1.Releasethedecklockingpinsoneachside(Figure1).
2.RollthemowerdeckuptotheNavigatortractor
whilepushingthedischargetubedown,makingsure
thedeckspringsarelocatedabovethedrivewheel
andbelowtheconsoleoneachside.
3.Raisetheseatandinstallthedriveshaftontothe
jackshaft(Figure2).

4.Cutthetiewrapsholdingthetractorpusharmsup
totheconsole.Removethelynchpinsfromthe
tractorpusharms.
5.Alignthedeckpusharmtubestothetractorpush
armsandpushthedeckrearward.Securethepush
armswiththelynchpinsonleftandrightsidesof
theunit(Figure3).

Incorrectlyraisingorloweringamowerdeck
canbedangerous.Adroppedmowerdeckcan
resultinaseriousinjuryorpropertydamage.
•Alwaysraiseandlowerdeckonat,dry
ground,freeofanyobstructions.
•Firmlygraspthedecklifthandleandlower
inaslowcontrolledmanner.
•Alwaysmakesurethedeckissecurely
latchedinthe“up”or“down”position.
Usingthedecklifthandle,liftthedeckupandlatch
in“up”position(latchislocatedatfrontcenterof
theseat)(Figure5).
