doesnotaccidentallycontactthesparkplug.

fromthenormaloperatingposition.
Note:Parktheunitonalevelsurface.Makesureall
movingpartshavestoppedandthesparkplugwirehas
beendisconnected.Allowunittocoolbeforestartingthese
instructions.
RemovingtheCable
1.Makesureallmovingpartshavestopped,thespark
plugwirehasbeendisconnected,andtheunitiscool.
2.RemovethefueltankasstatedintheOperator’s
manual.
3.Removetheself-propeldrivecablefromthehandle;
retainthemountinghardware.

anangle).Deburrthehole.

anchorintotheholeinthebracketonthetransmission
case(seeFigure5).
7.Reinstallthebeltontothetransmissionandrotatethe
transmissionupward.
8.Reinstallthetransmissiondownstopandbelttension
spring.
9.Tipthemowerbackontoitswheelstooperating
position.
10.Reinstallthefueltank.
11.Routethecableupwardalongtheleftsideofthe
handle.
12.Securetheupperendofthecableuptothetraction
lever.

13.Loosenthecablesupportnut.
14.Pullthecablejacketdown(towardthemachine)until
thereisnoslackinthecable.
