ManagementSystem(BMS).
Fullychargethebaeryincaseoflongtermstorage.The
baeryhasdischargecharacteriscsandmustbecharged
onceeverytwomonthsoritcouldleadtooverdischarge
damage,andceasefunconing.
TheLithiumBaeryisrecyclable.Pleasediscardresponsi‐
blythroughalocalrecyclingfacility.

PleaseusetheLithiumbaerychargersuppliedbyEZLite
Cruiser
Insertthechargerintothejoyscksocket,whilebeing
mindfuloftheplugorientaon.
Insertthechargerintoanelectricaloutlet,whichwillcause
thecharginglighttoturnon.
RedIndicatorlightmeansthebaeryischarging
GreenIndicatorlightmeansthebaeryisfullycharged.
Green can also mean that no baƩery is connected!
DONOTturnonthecontrollerpowerorusethechair
duringcharging.
Ensurethatthebaeryiscoolwhilecharging.Thecharger
maygetalilewarmwhilecharging,duetocurrentrun‐
ningthroughit.ThechargershouldnevergetHOTtothe
touch.Pleasecheckitperiodically.Failuretocheckcan
causedamagetothechairandevenstartafire.
Chargingmecanvaryfrom2to8hours,dependingon
thelevelofthebaerywhencharginghasstarted.
Thechargercanbeusedovernight,butitisrecommended
thataerasuccessfulfullcharge,itisdisconnected.
Thechargermustbedisconnectedfromthejoysckinor‐
dertooperatetheEZLiteCruiser.
Keepchargerawayfrommoistureandimpact.
ThechargerfortheEZLiteCruiseroperatesatvoltagesbe‐
tween100‐240VoltsACinput,meaningitwillworkover‐
seasinanycountrywherethewalloutletsprovidebe‐
tween100to240Volts.Youwillsimplyneedtochange
theshapeofthewalloutletusingacommonadapterto
changetheplugshapeforthecountryyou’rein.

UsinginthePowered(Electric)Mode
Fliptheredlevers(theelectromagneclocks,idenfiedinthecompo‐
nentsoftheEZLiteCruiseronpage5)onbothoftherearwheelsand
ensurethatthewheelsarelockedinplace,andarenotmovingatall.
Whenthechairispoweredelectrically,thechaircannotbepushed
manually.
Aertheuserisseatedinthechair,turnonthepower.
Pushingthejoysckforwardtogoforward.
Pullingjoysckbacktogoback.
Pushingjoysckletoturnle.
Pushingjoysckrighttoturnright.
Thechairwillgofasterwhenthemagnitudeisgreater.
Releasethejoyscktostopthechair.
Pressthepoweroffbuontoshutdownthepower.
UsingintheManualMode
EnsurethatthepowerisOFF.
Fliptheredlevers(theelectromagneclocks,idenfied
inthecomponentsoftheEZLiteCruiseronpage5)on
bothoftherearwheels.Thiswillallowyoutorollthe
wheelsmanually.
Ifoneofthewheelsrollsandtheotherdoesnot,flipthe
redlevertothesameposionasthewheelthatdoesroll.
Ifneitherwheelsroll,fliptheredleverstotheopposing
posionforbothwheels.Youwillheara‘clunk’noise
whentheleverisflipped.
Iftheuseroperatesthechairwithoutassistance,the
electromagnecbrakemustbeattheengagedposion.
Otherwise,theuserwillnothavecontroloverthechair.

cancollapsewhenaempngtositonthechair.Thiscan
causedamagetothechairandalsohurttheuser.Please
ensurethatthechairisfullyunfoldedbeforesinginit.
Check,double‐checkandtriple‐checktomakesurethe
chairisopenedallthewayandlockedintoposion.
Ifthefrontwheelisnotintheproperposionthechair
willnotfoldghtlyandcouldcausedamage.Makesure
thefrontwheelsareinthecorrectposionbeforeclosing.
Thecableshouldbearoundarmrestinordertoavoidpull‐
ingonthejoysck.
Watchtoensurethejoysckcableisnotcaughtbetween
anymetalframepartsofthechairastheycometogether.
DONOTusethejoysckunlessyouaresinginthechair.
DONOTdisconnectanyplugsbypullingonthewire.Only
disconnectbypullingontheplugsnearthesocketstopre‐

BaeryChargeLevelUponArrival
Whenyoureceiveyourbaery,itisalmostfullycharged!Youcanbegin
usingyourchairrightawaytotestitout.Beforedrivingitintensively,we
recommendchargingthebaerybackuptofull.
ChargingtheBaery
ThenormalchargerthatcomeswiththeEZLiteCruiserbydefaulthasa
roundmetallicpthatwillplugintothefrontofthejoysck.The
chargerthatcomeswithyourchairbydefaultWILLNOTplugdirectlyinto
thebaery.Thebaerywillplugintoasquarematchingconnectorlocat‐
edunderneaththeseatoftheEZLiteCruiser.Thechargingwilloccur
throughthejoysck,downtothebaery.

(accessories,soldseparately)thenyouwillbeabletochargeyourbaery
directlyfromawalloutlet.SimplyconnecttheStandaloneorSpeedy
Chargertothewalloutlet,thenconnecttheopposingendtothebaery.
RedLeversontheRearWheels
Theredleversontherearwheelscontroltheelectromagneclockand
ulmatelythebrakingsystem.TheleversmustbeENGAGEDinorderfor
youtousethechairinthepoweredmode.
Howdoyouknowiftheyareengaged?
WhenthedeviceispoweredOFF,andtheyareDISENGAGED,then
youwillbeabletorolltherearwheelsmanuallybypushingthechair.
WhenthedeviceispoweredOFFandtheyareENGAGED,youwillnot
beabletorolltherearwheelsmanually.
WhenthedeviceispoweredON,thelocksmustbeENGAGEDinorder
todriveit.Iftheyarenotengaged,thejoysckwillflashthetoplight
onthespeedseng,indicangthisfault.

Theseatbeltislocatedinthezipperedcompartmentunderneaththe
seat.Forhelpwithmounngtheseatbelt,wehaveavideoshowingthe

UnboxingtheEZLiteCruiser
Whenyoutakethechairoutofitsbox,
andremoveanypackagingmaterials
fromaroundit,thisiswhatthechair
willlooklike.Youwillbeabletostandit
upontherearwheelsusingthekick‐
standintheback,anditwillbalanceit‐
selfintheuprightposion.Noceon
thebackside,thechairhasakickstand
thatyoucanflipouttobalanceit.
GetItUnfolded
Tounfoldit,simplyraiseupontheback
supportbarandthefrontsideofthechair
wheretheseangareawillbegintodrop
down.Pushtheseangareadownto‐
wardsthegroundandextendthechairall
thewaywiththebacksupportbar.You
willhearitlockintoplacewhenitisfully
unfolded.Makesureitisfullyunfolded
beforesingdown.

EngagingtheElectromagnecLocks
Youmustdothistousethechairinthe
poweredmode.Italsopreventsthechair
fromrollingmanually.Dependingonyour
model(DX8,DX10,DX12),youwillflipthe
leversFORWARD(towardsthechair)or
BACKWARD(awayfromthechair)toen‐
gageordisengagethelocks.Whendisen‐
gaged&thepowerisOFF,thewheelswill
rollfreely.Whenengaged,theywon’troll.
MounngtheJoysck
Insertthejoysckmounngforkendinto
thedesiredarmrest,andthensecureit
withthefasteningboltunderneaththe
armrest.Tomovethejoyscktothele
side,youwillneedtoclipthezip‐esitis
fastenedwithtothearmrest,andmove
thewirealongwiththefasteningboltto
thelesideandsecureitthere.
InstalltheAn‐TiltWheels
Thean‐ltwheelsarelocatedinthe
toolkitinthebackofthechair.Remove
themfromthetoolkit,andinsertthem
intotheframeatthebackofthechair,
neartherearwheels,asshown.Pushthe
buonsoneachpairofwheelstobeable
toinsertthem.Theycanberemovedat
anymebypushingthebuonsandslid‐
ingthemoutoftheframe.Thean‐lt
wheelscanbeusedtorollthechair.

baery,intothefemalepower/input

Theconnectorscanonlymatchoneway
andyouwillhearaclickingnoisewhen
itisfirmlyconnected.Ifyoudidnot
hearaclickingnoise,disconnectitand
tryitagain,butitmaybeafaintnoise.
PutBaeryintheFiedCarryCase
YourEZLiteCruiserbaerycomeswith
afied(small)carryingcasedesigned
specificallyforthebaery,soyoucan
easilydisconnectitandcarryitwith
you.Youshallstorethebaeryinthis
fiedcaseforconvenience,andthe
baerycanbekeptinthisfiedcaseat
