1. Brief
The FX5641Sx is a powerful, compact size embedded box with Intel® Atom Apollo Lake™ processor
board inside. This user’s quick reference provides the I/O outlets description and their pin assignment.

2 GbE ports with LED indicators.
7 USB ports (3x V3.0) and 4 RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 serial ports.
1 VGA, 1 HD display port, 1 DP display port, 1 Earphone, 1 Line-in, and 1 Microphone connectors.
1 6-pin terminal block for 2 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs.
1 power button with LED, 1 reset button, 2 LAN-link LEDs, and 1 HDD/m-SATA access LED.
1 free PCIe expansion slot for riser cards.
* Storage Bay
1 CFast socket (optional) for CFast modules and 1 m-SATA socket for m-SATA modules.
One 2.5" SATA hard disk space for 2.5” HDD/SSD. (Space shared with CFast adapter board)

B. LAN LED Indicators (RJ45)
The LAN port is a RJ45 connector with 2 LEDs. The orange LED indicates data is accessing and
the green LED indicates on-line status.
6. Software Configuration and Driver Installation
Please refer to the driver installing documentaion in the included Compact Disc for installing what
device driver you need. If you need to change the system settings or configurations of I/O ports, Please
refer to User's Manual (also in the included Compact Disc) for details.
7. Open the System for installing HDD, DDR4, m-SATA, mini-PCIe modules (WLAN),
Antenna, and Riser card.
Release 10 screws as upper figure shown
