Correct installation is the responsibility of the customer.
Ensure that the installer is properly qualified to install this oven.
= Make surethat theoven is locatedaway from anystrong and/or hot drafts of air,
• Thecabinet openingdimensionsspecifiedare the absoluteminimum. Thesedimensionsallow a clearance
of upto 1/4"(6mm).
° Theproductmust beelectrically grounded.See"ElectricalConnection"for details,
* We recommendthat the electricalsupplyjunction boxis locatedeither3" belowthe mainsupportsurfaceof
the productonthe right handsideor flush mountedinthe rear wall behindthe productor mountedin the
adjacentright-handsidecabinet. A 1" diameterholeshouldbe drilledin the right rearcornerof the oven
cabinetor inthe rearofthe right-handsidewall asrequiredto enablethe electricalsupply cordto be passed
throughthe cabinetto the junction box, Detailsofthese requirementsare shownin the diagramto the right.
* Theoven supportsurface shouldbeflat, leveland beableto supporta weight of at least 420 pounds(190 Kg)
for a doubleovenand 238 pounds(108 Kg)for singleovenmodels,
• Youwill needa No,2 Phillipsscrewdriverto completethe installationof the ovenintothe cabinet.
Thereshouldbe4 suitablewood screwswith this installationkit (Partnumber556075)and4 spacers
(Partnumber545455),

PREPARING THE OVEN ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
Unpacking the oven
Donot usedoorhandlesor any part of the controlpanelfor liftingthe product.
Beforethe productislifted, theoven doorsandracksare to beremoved.
-] ARNING: Extremecare is to betaken when lifting the productas it
is veryheavy. Failureto do somay resultin injury.
1. Carefullylaythe product on its back. Removethe externalwrappingandthe
bottom polystyreneprotector andpallet. Standthe productup and removeall
other polystyrenepackaging.
2. Removethe oven doors.This is done by:
•Openthe ovendoorfully.
• Lift the catcheson bothofthe hingesovertowards youontothe hooks
of the hingearm (seepicture below).
• Raisethe doorslightly, holdingon eitherside nearthe handle,making
surethatthe clips stay onthe hooks.
WARNING: Do notlift the doorout bythe handleas this may cause
damageto the product.
•Liftthe doorout. Door Hinge

been removedas theyarediffercult to re-engage.
3. Removethe wire shelvesand oven trays by slidingthem out. Useboth hands
to removeeachitem. Removethe cardboardpackagingfrom the ovencavity.

Theelectricalvoltage andfrequencythat is correctfor this ovenis stated onthe
serialnumberplate locatedinsidethe top vent. It isthe customerresponsibilityto
ensurethat this oven is connectedto the correctelectricalsupply.
WARNING :The oven mustbeconnectedto a permanentand
groundedsupply.

CONNECTOVENWITH COPPERWIREONLY
• Theflexible armouredcableshould be connecteddirectly to the junction box.
• Donot cut the conduit,
• A U.L.listed conduit connectormust be providedat thejunction box.
• Do not groundto a gas pipe.
• Donot havea fusein the groundingor neutralcircuit.
•Fusebothsidesof the line.
• A time delayfuse or circuit breakeris recommended. If using a time delay
fuse,thenfuse both sides ofthe line.
•Flexiblearmouredcable from the applianceshouldbe connecteddirectly to
the junction box.
• Connectdirectlyto the fused disconnect(or circuit breakerbox)throughflexible,
armoredor non-metallicsheathed,coppercable(with groundingwire).
• If codespermit anda separategroundingwire is used,it is recommended
that a qualifiedelectriciandeterminethat the groundingpathandwire gauge
is in accordancewith localcodes.
• Do not use an extensioncord with this appliance.

This oven is manufactured with white (neutral) power supply wire and a cabinet-connected green grounding wire taped together.
Feedthe ovencablethroughthe openingin the cabinet.Makethe electricalconnectionfollowing thesteps appropriatefor your installation,
1. Disconnectthe powersupply.
------_WARNING : Failureto disconnectthe powersupplymayresult in deathor injury.
2. Removethejunction boxcover.
3. Connectthe ovencableto thejunction boxthroughthe U.L-listed conduit connector,
4. Connectthe two blackwires together with twist-on connectors,
5. Connectthe two redwires togetherwith twist-on connectors.
6. Connectelectrical connectionaccordingto local codesand ordinances,
If localcodesPERMITconnectingcabinet-groundingconductorto neutralwhite wire in
the junctionbox:
7. Connectthe factory-crimpedgreenandwhite ovencable wires to the
neutral(white) wire inthe junction box,
8. Replacethe junction boxcover,

7. Separatethe factory-crimpedgreenandwhite ovencablewires,
8. Connectwhite ovencablewire to neutral(white) wire injunction box.
9. Connectthe greengroundingovencablewire to a groundedwire in the junction box,
10. Replacethejunction boxcover.

1. Feedtheelectrical supplycableinto 1" holecut out of the rear
of the oven cabinet.
WARNING : Extremecare isto betakenwhen liftingthe productas it
isveryheavy. Failureto do so may resultin injury.
Slidethe productintothe ovencabinet,pushingthe product betweenthe two oven
cavitiesor bythe edgesofthe ovencavity.
Make surethat the electrical supplycablecandropstraightdownusingthe
recesson the rearof the oven intothe cable entryholeinthe rear of the oven
cavity. If the productdoesnotsitflushwith thefrontof the oven cabinet,
makecertain thatthe electrical supplycable hasnotjammedbehindthe
product. Ensurethe bottomventis notblockedoff or damaged.
,Securelyfastenthe ovento the cabinetusingthe screws provided. Insertthe
screws throughthe holesin the sideextrusionsandthroughthe spacersplaced
betweenthe sideextrusionandthe kitchenjoinery(seediagramopposite).
Do notover tightenscrews.
,Replacethe oventrays and wire shelves. Theshelveshavea
front and back. Insertthem intothe ovenin the correctwayto
ensurethat the 'stop-lock'feature ofthe shelf works correctly
(seediagramapposite).
4, Refitthe ovendoors. This isdone by:
Placebothupper hingearms inthe top slots andboth lower
hingearms in the lower slots.
Pushthe hingesasfar asthey will go until the slotin the lower
armlocatesin the hingesupport.
Lowerthe doorgently. Pushthe catchesaway from you off the
hooks. Makesure that they disengageproperly.
Raisethe doorslightlyand ensurethe catchesare releasedfrom
the hooks. Thedoorcan now be closed.

1. Make sure productis levelandsecurelyfitted to the cabinetry and
both ovendoorsopenand closefreely.
2. Make sure allthe internal packaginghasbeenremovedfrom the oven cavity.
3. Make sureall ovenvents and openingsare clear andare free of any obstruction.
F_ WARNING :
Failureto do somay resultin a fire or poorproductperformance.
4. Turnthe powerto the ovenon. Theclockshouldlight up and blink12:00pm.
5. Setthe clockto the currenttime.
6. Turnthe ovenfunctionswitch to 'Bake'and theoventemp switch to 350' F. Air
shouldblow out ofthe vent at the bottomof the oven. Insidethe ovencavity allthree
ovenlightsshouldcomeon. After 5 minutesopenthe ovendoorandthe air inside
shouldfeel warm. Thetop elementshouldbe glowing redandthe bottomsurfaceof
the ovencavity shouldfeel warm to lightly touch.

7. Turnboth the ovenfunction switch and oventemp switch backto off andrepeat
for the otherovenif product is a double.
IF THEOVENDOESNOTOPERATE:
*Checkthat the circuit breakerhas nottrippedor the fuseblown.
• Makesure that the electrical connectionshavebeencorrectly made.
• Makesurethat poweris beingsuppliedto the oven.
,Makesure the voltageis correctacrossall phases.
