Note: A wire is attached to the underside
of the horse, for demonstration purposes
only. Please remove the wire by pulling it
out of the horse and properly discarding it.
Before Use Sounds and Actions

• To return the horse to a standing
position, push the legs back together.
• Hold the horse's back legs and
front legs in opposite hands and
pull them away from each other.
• Watch the horse "jump" and hear
realistic sounds!

Battery Replacement

For best results, use only
alkaline batteries.
• Remove the saddle from the horse.
• Locate the battery compartment on
the underside of the horse.
• Loosen the screw in the battery
compartment door with a Phillips
screwdriver. Lift to remove the
battery compartment door.
• Remove the exhausted batteries
from the battery compartment and
properly discard them.
• Insert three button cell “LR44”
batteries, as indicated inside the
battery compartment.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline
batteries for longer battery life.
• Replace the battery compartment
door and tighten the screw with
a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.
• Replace the saddle on the horse.
• When sounds from this toy become
faint or stop working, it’s time for an
adult to replace the batteries!
Battery Tips
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix different types of
batteries: alkaline, standard
(carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium).
• Remove the batteries during long
periods of non-use. Always remove
exhausted batteries from the toy.
Battery leakage and corrosion can
damage this toy. Dispose of
batteries safely.
• Never short circuit the battery
terminals.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not
to be recharged.
• Only batteries of the same or
equivalent type as recommended in
the “Battery Replacement”
instructions are to be used.
• If removable rechargeable batteries
are used, they are only to be
charged under adult supervision.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be
removed from the toy before they
are charged.
• If you use a battery charger, it
should be examined regularly for
damage to the cord, plug, enclosure
and other parts. Do not use a
damaged battery charger until it
has been properly repaired.

• Place the blanket on the horse's back.
• Place the saddle on top of the blanket.
• Insert the peg on the underside of
the saddle strap into the hole in the
battery compartment door.
• Fit the two holes on one end of the
strap onto the two pegs on the other
end of the strap.
