Thank you for choosing a FRIAX's Monobloc system to control the aging of your wine.
Take the me to read this manual. It will help you understand the steps to install and adjust the MPC series.
What is a cellar Monobloc system FRIAX ?
The MPC serie is a refrigeraon system specially designed to keep the opmum temperature and humidity at
the aging of your wines. The system is composed of three essenals elements which are the evaporator, the
condenser unit and the regulaon box. These elements are interconnected by a refrigerant pipe and an
electrical connecon.
At the delivery, you must find in your package, your Monobloc, the installaon manual and the accessories
describde on page 3. Check package to detect any damage on the carton. Note on the delivery of the carrier all
the observaons about the package condion, this could be useful in case of damage.
If in doubt contact your dealer.
When unpacking check that the material inside the package corresponds to the checklist on the box.

-Be sure to install the unit in a sheltered place.
-It is advisable to remove the device from its packaging with the help of someone.
-Connect the power supply once the enre installaon is complete.

Make sure to install the device in a place protected from bad weather and frost.
- Be aware that some refrigerant gases can be odorless.
- Any intervenon on a refrigeraon circuit must be carried out by an authorized professional.
by an accredited body cerfying the competence to handle refrigerant fluids.
- The device must be free of any obstrucon at all mes to ensure good
operaon and reduce safety risks.
- Do not puncture any component of the refrigerant circuit.
- Use cauon when handling equipment to avoid malfuncon.
- The device must be installed in accordance with local wiring regulaons.
- Make sure that the characteriscs of the device are compable with those of the electrical installaon.
- Make sure that the mains socket is connected to earth.
- Do not use the device if it is damaged
- Do not connect the power supply unl the enre installaon is complete.
- Always switch off the appliance and unplug it from the mains for cleaning and maintenance.
- Do not put your hands or objects in the air inlets and outlets.
- Do not try to repair the device yourself.
- Any use and / or modificaon not approved by the manufacturer may be dangerous for your
safety and health.
- This appliance must not be used by children.
- The user must understand and be aware of the potenal dangers associated with the use of the device.
- Use only the means and / or tools recommended by the manufacturer for defrosng or cleaning.

Implementaon
- The air condioner must be installed in an open
area.
- In order to have a perfect distribuon of the air, it
is advisable to install the air condioner in height.
- All natural and mechanical venlaon should be
avoided in the cellar.
- Ensure that the hot air is discharged into a ven-
lated and sheltered room.
- Check the strength of the wall on which the unit is
aached.
- Respect the dimensions of the reservaon
- Never put obstacles in front of the blowing and
sucon facades of the device.

Put the unit in the wall
install angle device. Use screws and anchors (not supplied) adapted to the wall type
(1) Connect the drain
Connect the drain tube (Ø 16) to the bend’s extremity with
the providing clamp.
(2) For Vintage models,
Connect the water supply to the HGR% humidifier.
The use of a KLPWSECU kit is essenal when the water
pressure is above 2.8bars.

Wireless Remote
Power supply: 2 x 1.5V (AAA) baeries provided
The remote control could be installed in any room. Its maximum range is 100m in a
completely open area. This distance could be extremly reduced by thickness of walls
and the locaon of the cellar. It is possible to fix directly the remote to the unit by
using the screw holes on the MPC facade.

When the device is installed outside the cave (OUT mounng) and the evaporator is clad, refer to the specific

The following maintenance operations repeated every 6 months will allow your MPC air conditioner to maintain
its performance in optimal ways to ensure its longevity and that of your wines.
WARNING
Before carrying out any maintenance operations, switch othe appliance with the remote control,
cut othe power supply to the main circuit breaker.
Condenser maintenance (hot side)
Disassemble the front panel using an Allen key to access the air condenser battery.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust. Be careful not to damage the ns.
Check that there are no leaves or any other object that could interfere with proper operation.
Maintenance of the evaporator (cold side)
Remove the front panel using an Allen key to access the air evaporator battery.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust. Be careful not to damage the ns.
Disassemble the condensate pan using a screwdriver, clean it with water and then replace it.
Check that the drain is not blocked.
